This doll is one of the cutest things I've ever seen! (I know, just my opinion.) My 4 year old pointed her out in the store, so she is getting her for Christmas. She seems to be quite flexible and like she won't break easily, but with this type of doll there is always room for breakage (I find especially at the neck joint). I know some people will say she is too skinny, but then her head is way too big, too. I don't really think that kind of think affects children the way "they" say it can. I grew up with Barbies and never aspired to be the shape of one nor did I have a bad body image because of it... they are just TOYS. Leave the bad image up to the folks who airbrush the already thin models in magazines and give a toally false impression of what people should/can look like, etc). Educational well, not on her own, but we use dolls to do roll playing on educational and social issues including teasing, bullying, etc. So, we use them in educational ways. Regardless, she is so cute how could a little girl who likes dolls not like her? ;D

La Dee Da dolls were not immediately available in my area until several months after their initial release. If I'd known how cute they'd be I might've ordered a few in advance! These dolls are well-made, unlike Mattel's Monster High line. I've had Cyanne as Peppermint Pose for over six months and she remains in perfect condition (although she largely remains on a shelf, only taken about for photos and clothing switches). Whenever I'm at stores that stock this line I check to see if they've begun developing problems largely apparent in other lines like Monster High, Bratz, Barbies, and Novi Stars such as messy face paint, badly sewn outfits, oddly gelled-down hair but so far they've remained free of such cheap defects! I'd highly recommend this line to collectors and kids alike. :) The fashion packs are cute too, though not at the prices alternate Amazon sellers want to charge! Best to check a local Target or Wal*Mart for those; they're usually under $10 on the shelf.

The stroller is very high quality and is big enough for a seven or eight year old. The packaging it came in was not the high quality of other items I've purchased from Amazon. It fell apart during shipping. Purchased this double stroller for my daughter after doing a lot of research. I was very close to purchasing the double stroller from American Girl. I heard it was great quality, but just couldn't bring myself to pay $70 plus tax and shipping. Found this stroller, and was very happy with the price and reviews. Many of the double strollers in the stores are just junk and fall apart so easily. Received this for my 5 year old's birthday, and she loves it. It was very easy to put together, and I love that the handle is adjustable to grow with her. It fits her 18" dolls perfectly, and is very durable. I highly recommend this to anyone who is considering the American Girl stroller, but just doesn't want to spend the money. Very happy with this product.

After reviewing a few strollers I chose this one because of the height and I was not disappointed. It is very well made and I think my tall 4 year old will be able to use this for a few years at least. Her bitty babies fit perfectly in it and it seems like it will withstand all the walks outside on the concrete. Went together very easily and folds up nicely. Seems like a regular baby stroller.

I actually bought this for my dogs. I have basset hounds and I wanted a cowboy hat for them for a picture and the 18 inch doll hats work great for larger dogs. Most of the ones for dogs are usually very small so I was looking for one larger and this fit the bill. That hat is a nice soft texture but strong enough to hold up with some ruff use. So if it is for a doll, playing will not destroy it easily.

This is a great dress for American Girl dolls. it fits well and is easy to put on. the veil is somewhat confusing and does not stay on so well. all together it is very pretty and sparkly.

I bought this outfit as a present for my daughter's communion. The outfit is absolutely beautiful. The veil has awersome embroidered with bids, pearls and sequins. The dress is a perfect fit for the American Girl doll. The only thing is that you have to be very careful with the veil. You need to tie a small knot on the thread (at the bottom) to hold the sequins or else it will fall out.

This doll is fun to play with, and my daughter had some interest with using the potty after playing with this doll, however it is too much work on the parent. You have to mix the babies food, then you have the dishes that comes with the doll to wash, or the food will stain the bowl and spoon. You have to keep on feeding the doll its bottle till the "pee" is clear that runs out of the doll, or the food will harden inside the doll, and may break the doll down to where it doesn't funtion properly anymore. The accessories such as the babies food, and diapers are sold seperate, which gets pricey like having a real baby! I guess that is why it is called baby alive! Also, when the doll makes a "stinky" you have to wipe her down with a wet cloth or the baby food that comes out from her bottom will leave a stain on her butt, or legs if it drips down. Feeding the doll is a mess too, so you have to constantly wash the dolls bib. Overall the doll is educational, and it does help a child want to go potty, but I suggest to parents to buy a potty training doll without the mess, especially if you have other things you could be doing with your precious time then to wash a dolls bowl and spoon, and bib, and feed its bottle for like 20 minutes till its insides are cleaned out from the doll food!

My 4.5 year old daughter requested a "doll that poops" for Christmas, so I got her this doll. I thought she would be thrilled with the doll, as she's fascinated with all things to do with poops and pee. She loves, loves, LOVES this doll!!! She plays with it *all* day and has so much fun doing so. Her two male cousins (age 5 and 3) are also very taken with the doll (especially the older one).

Not wanting to deal with potential doll 'accidents' during a hectic family holiday, I didn't even show my daughter that the doll doll can eat 'real' food and water, and she has a wonderful time feeding the doll with the empty spoon (the doll moves her mouth to chew and makes appropriate noises) and the empty bottle. When the doll needs to excrete, she says she needs to go to the potty, so my daughter removes the diaper, places her on the potty, and the doll makes the sound of 'tinkle' landing in the potty. If she's not taken to the potty soon enough, she reports her accident and requests to be cleaned up. My daughter loves to clean her up (despite the lack of a real mess), by giving her a wipe with one of wipe cloths that comes with the doll and giving her a clean diaper. Buy a pack of premie or newborn diapers to have a reasonable supply of diapers. You can keep re-using them until the tabs wear out, when using my pretend food and drink strategy.)

My daughter is thoroughly enjoying having a doll that pees and poops for her, but she (and I) don't have the hassle of dealing with real dolly messes. I think we'll stick with this method for a long time. Another alternative to add more realism without the full mess is to just use water in the bottle and food bowl (call it 'soup' in the bowl). Then you'd have a doll that actually expels something, but less mess in a worst case scenario. Plus you don't have to spend any extra time flushing out the doll's insides to clean out any bits of 'food' left behind.)

My daughter needed help with getting diaper back on for a fair number of the initial diaper changes, especially when re-using a clean diaper those tabs can be tricky when they catch on the wrong part of the diaper. I expect a younger child (say age 3) would need even more help.

The interactive things the doll does like asking for a hug, or asking you to sing with her are quite sweet, and really make my daughter happy. The doll has a large 'vocabulary' of phrases and varies what she says quite a bit, so the doll seems more alive, rather than a robot running through a fixed script. I think this doll has real staying power. I've talked with a fair number of adults who adored the original version of the doll (during the 70s) in their childhood.)

This doll is kind of awful. My daughter got one as a gift and she was THRILLED. I hate this thing. I think it's important to realize it REALLY requires as much care and upkeep and cleaning and so on that you may start considering never having another of your own. This doll is VERY time consuming for the parent. The replacements are expensive. My daughter REALLY liked just pretending with the diapers, but they will NOT restick, so buy preemie generic store replacements with a velcro tab. That's my best advice.

For me personally, I'm THROUGH buying diapers, lol! My daughter tired of it quickly, I never bought more food, though I did diapers, because the cleaning is SUCH a pain. I put it in my attic for another time so maybe one day she'll be interested again. She was 5 when she got it. Your child may love it, but you will loathe it.

I also bought this to help potty train my son. The book "How to Potty Train in Less Than a Day" suggested a wetting doll. I thought the idea was ridiculous at first. I didn't know anyone else who used a doll. Well...I trained my son in two days while it took everyone else I knew weeks or months. I owe a lot to this little doll. He also enjoys playing with her now, although this doesn't make daddy too happy! She is just too much fun...

I bought this doll for my 3 year old grandaughter, beleiving all the time that the feeding, potty training, diaperchange, etc. is just a formality that she'll be able practice and enjoy by herself too.

Never tought that if she doesn't feed the doll correctly, the doll food may stain some surface , or if she forgets to make the doll drink, the food gets stuck inside the doll , or for that matter, the diapers or even the food is not reusable.

For God's sake.... this is a doll!! and the child is just 3 years old!

Why didn't you let us know that we have to keep buying the food and diapers as if the doll was a real baby???

Why are not these things resuable????

Beleive me... this doll is only fun for a 3 or 4 year old if the mom takes care of the doll and the mom rather wants an educational toy that the child can experiment with by herself too.

For me, it was a big disappointment!

My daughter paid for this toy with her own money which makes what i found out awful.First off i want to say that this is a great toy my daughter loves it just got it today i even played a few games myself.It's simple to use and the games are fun. But when the software was done uploading and took us to the website we found out that this product is being discontinued and that the website will be shut down on 1-1-09.My problem with this is that if your going to discontinue a product and shut down the site then you need to stop selling the product altogether.So if you are thinking about buying this for a someone for christmas that child will have less than 2 weeks to use this toy.Every store that sells this toy has it on sale and now i know why.Hasbro is trying to get as much money as they can out of this toy.As i said this is a fun toy so if you don't mind spending a few bucks on a toy with limited play time then it's a good buy.I told my daughter about the site and she was sad but said she loved the games and wanted to keep it.

The doll looks very cute but the knot and loop fasteners, sometimes known as frog closures, on the cape are impossible for little fingers to undo. My five year old granddaughter was about to resort to brute force when I suggested she let me try to open them. It was difficult for me to force the knots through the very short loops but I was finally able to take off the cape .... only to find that the doll was not wearing anything underneath. Fortunately, we had some other doll clothes we could put on her so she could join the tea party. This is not a useful outfit for the doll.

Will, I must admit I was a little concerned when it arrived in a small heavy box in many many pieces. My daughters boyfriend put it together and I must say it is addorable and sturdy. It fits all her 18 inch dolls perfectly. I wish the feeding tray on the front was a little bigger so she could actual set dishes on the tray and pretend to feed her babies... but that is something I noticed and not something she has complained about. It will last through several grandchildren and the granddaughter loves it and plays with it daily. It is real wood and not pressed board or wood.

I bought this doll for my niece she loves Draculaura...so this was a perfect doll for her..But when she got her we realized she didn't come with the pink shoes and no black purse...odd right? My niece was a bit disappointed because to me it is false advertizing and my niece thought she would get what was in the picture..Also my niece didn't like her gloved hands they stick out kind of funny and she said it looked like clown hands not delicate gloves or that of a mime so she took them off and place normal hands on her ( note the mime hands don't fit well with the other dolls as I have tried and for fear of breaking them we ended up with a hand less doll.Don't get me wrong her hair is beautiful and she is by far the prettiest Draculaura ever and I love her cute outfit..Just one warning toy folks stop adding items that don't come with the doll...It confuses kids and frustrates adults!!!
