The doll was/is a hit because the kiddo loves Disney's Belle. The "music" is not a full song and can be startling if you aren't expecting her to burst into song! She is a nice size, especially for small hands -easy to grasp and manipulate.

Cute Doll....

This is a beautiful bed and the size is perfect for our preschooler. The handles are just short enough to make carrying the bed in one hand difficult at best. The pillow is attached. Our preschooler noticed right away that her Corolle Mon Premier Doll's eyes did not close when in the bed. We unattached the pillow, but the doll's eyes still remain open unless you get her in the bed in just the right position.

I purchased quite a few pieces of the Corolle Mon Premier for my granddaughter at Christmas. She was thrilled! However, she would try to carry her baby doll around in the crib. It was too heavy and awkward. I bought this carrier for her birthday. She can now carry the doll easily around the house. Corolle brings out the "mother instinct" in children.

The quality of this item astounded me and so I purchased 2 for gifts already. The print is darling and the size of the little doll carry bed is perfect for someone who is 2 5 years old. It has a flap on top that can be untied to put different dolls in and out and is also good for most 12" dolls. My Grand daughter and my friends' little girl love this item! Delivery was prompt as promised.

Not too large. Just perfect for my 2 year old granddaughter. She loves to carry her baby around and this size works for a small child.

Reviews of Striped Outfit with Lace for 13" Dolls

Customer Ratings:

Very cute, but the bottom part looks a little darker in reality to me. I thought it would be the light baby pink stipe (like the top pink) mixed with light grey stripe, but it is more like pink/salmon pink mixed with grey/brown grey.

Finally, a doll that represents a baby of african decent by more than just color! Naima is beautiful, with her rich dark skin and her sweet tongue-y grin, she has larger lips than the other Calin dolls, and a flat, wide nose. It doesn't just stop there, take off her headband and look closely at her hair line and she has tiny little curls molded into the plastic.

Unfortunately like another reviewer mentioned, she does seem to be a little light on the stuffing. She is our fifth calin doll and she is by far the most floppy. When I get a chance I will be slipping the stitches on her back and stuffing some more fiberfill into her. I purchased this one because it was on sale, I wanted the one in the red outfit, though. This outfit did turn out to be cuter in real life.

we already own a Caucasian 'premier calin' corolle, and I thought it would be fun for my tot to have one of another race. I can't understand the decline in quality. Doll can't sit up unless head is in its lap. Clothes are of thinner material than other doll's.

Sending it back! I should have listened to other reviews. I am going to try buying the 'earlier model' of Naima thru ebay and see if it's better quality.

*****************

OK, so I should have updated. I did try to send the doll back, but the company, I think called Kaplan, refused to have it back and insisted on giving a refund, tho I told them it wasn't of unacceptable, merely disappointing quality. no, they said, have the money back and don't return the doll. So we kept it. Well, it's true that it's floppy with thin clothes. But i have to tell you that my daughter LOVES the doll, and I feel a bit weird about that, given that we ended up with it as a freebie! she invents stories about this doll all the time, took it to Europe (and she was only allowed to take one doll with her) etc etc. In general, she spends more time with her, and thinking about her, than with the Caucasian one. As for her flopping over, she just accepts that. And as for her clothes, my daughter prefers to strip the clothes off her dolls anyway, so she never has her clothed, and she doesn't even notice that. So there we have it! I can't say whether I'd buy another , say, as a gift, but clearly the doll has brought a lot of pleasure to my kid.

I bought this doll for my daughters first birthday. She has another Corolle doll that she loves but I wanted to get her a dark skinned baby to love as well. Every time I would bring the picture up on the comuter she got so excited! Once we got it she was so happy to see the baby in person! It is a beautiful doll. I sort of wish it did not look like she was sticking her tongue out but that is not too big of a deal. I am sure this baby will be well loved by my daughter!

Honest reviews on Corolle Mon Premier Calin Naima Baby Doll

I bought this doll to replace the one my daughter lost. She loved it so much so we got the exact same doll she had before, but it seems lighter than her old one like it has less stuffing in it and her head is very loose and turns just with gravity. Her old one didn't do that. These things give me the feeling it is not as well made as the older version we had. I could be wrong though. If we hadn't had the older version, we would think this one was great.

I did hours of research looking for dolls online for my 19 month old twins for Christmas. I originally wanted Madame Alexander dolls since that's what I had for my first big baby doll. I decided to wait on them because they are so expensive and the doll I liked best was really too large for them right now.

After lots of looking (not happy with the appearance of any of the babies I saw in stores or on-line) I found these precious babies. I ordered the one with blue eyes for the blonde twin and one with brown eyes for the brunette twin.

When they arrived in the mail yesterday I was very pleased with them! SO pretty and such sweet faces. I love that they can suck their thumbs and you can actually put the bottle in their mouths. They also say that they are machine washable. The size is perfect for a toddler. They even have beautiful little eyelashes.

They won't get them until Christmas, but I know they'll love them. VERY happy with my investment! :)

This will be a Xmas gift so I have no idea how much fun it will be. But I'm sure it will be loved. The doll is sweet and very huggable. It seems to be very well made. It is soft and cuddly and just the right size for small arms. I took a chance and ordered two for two 2 yr old great granddaughters. I am very pleased with my purchase. The order came quickly, well packed and the dolls themselves are in their own packaging as well. All in all my experience so far has been a five. If those little girls at Xmas decide the dolls are not FUN I'll be sure to let you know.

The main problem with this doll is the skin tone: it is not a normal flesh tone, but very grayish and very unpleasant. And very different from the picture.

Honest reviews on Adora Playtime Baby Doll 13-Inch Light Skintone Blue Eyes Pink

The advertising for this doll was misleading. When I bought it, I did not realize that the body was made of a different material than the hands and face. The material was a shiny greenish color and looked cheap. I would not have bought this doll if the ad has made clear the difference.

I couldn't believe my eyes :0 I felt something sharp while holding the doll I looked at the leg and to my surprise there was a zip tie poking out of where the silk meets the plastic of the leg! I thought it must just hold the doll down to the packaging and I just missed removing it??? Nope the zip ties are woven under the silk to keep the hands and feet on! On Both of my daughters dolls legs the zip ties are SHARP and have come through the silk;( My daughter loves to have her baby sleep with her and i was so sad that after Sants brought her, mommy had to take her away;( I know if she rubs against her she would CUT herself on her new BABY!!! Review of Barbie I Can Be Art Teacher Doll Playset

Customer Ratings:

My daughter is 5 and has been asking for this doll (or in her words, "Barbie Artist") since her last birthday, so we went ahead and got it for her for Christmas. She was allowed to open in early because we have a family Christmas early in the month. She LOVES it, she's especially thrilled that Barbie "actually paints" (really just a water reveal). She likes the cute little cat and often has Barbie telling the kitty to "pose pretty." She is a pretty artistic kid and likes the idea of pretending to be an artist when she grows up. I will say that this toy has a lot of little pieces so I wouldn't buy it for a small child.

Our daughter chose this and really likes the art easel "magic" and the Barbie. But be forewarned the box advertises this as one of the "I Can Be" Barbies that has a code inside the box, allowing the purchaser to go to the website and create and play in Barbie world. (Much like Webkinz but with her beloved Barbie.) After we purchased it and got it open, we could not find the code anywhere. I just contacted Mattel Customer Service and they apologized, saying the Art Teacher is not one of the I Can Be Barbies with a code and that the box materials were printed before final decisions were made. They were gracious about it and apologized but this is basically Bait and Switch on a little girl, which really disappointed us both. So buy the Barbie if the art teacher is all you want, but don't expect to find a code to her virtual world.

Honest reviews on Barbie I Can Be Art Teacher Doll Playset

My 5 year old granddaughter loves this barbie artist. She's only allowed to play with it when I'm around so it's on a high shelf. The reasons are simple: It requires a little water in its cup for Barbie to "paint", I don't want the necessary pieces (paintbrush, cat, vase, easel) to get lost with all the other barbie stuff in the playroom & I don't want her clothes to be taken off. The paintbrush, cat, vase & easel are essential to make this work. Put the darling "Blissa" cat on the table & it makes the easel flip to the cat picture. Put the vase on the table to flip to the flowers. Barbie's arm can be moved with a lever to make the painting motion. The little cup attaches to easel table that you fill with water. Put special paintbrush into water & "paint" the watered brush over the pictures to display the colors. Push the easel bar up to start over, & there will be a pink "page" that can be "painted" on with your own designs with water. The color from the water makes the page a darker pink. The pages will stay "painted" until they completely dry. Then it's back to clear again. Barbie's outfit is very smart & I'm glad I bought this toy & thought ahead to keep it out of reach until a child wants to play with it under my supervision. My 5 year old granddaughter is very careful with barbies but I just like to be sure all the pieces stay together. She doesn't mind though: she loves my watching her play & pretend paint. I think this is one of the cuter & more creative barbies, however only one child has been interested in it so far. Still, that's better than no one wanting to play. Art Teacher Barbie is played with almost everytime granddaughter visits (she remembers to ask me to bring it down from shelf) & she plays with it for about 30 minutes before moving on to playing with other barbies & things.

I don't understand why she is an art teacher and not an artist or painter? She doesn't have any items that relate to teaching art, ie students or a white board or really anything that looks like what I have as an art teacher. This is another example of girls being told they can't do something in a subtle way. I don't appreciate it and I say that as an artist, an art teacher, and a mom!

I just wanted to share my thoughts on this doll and tell you that if you had any doubts about the doll because of the price, please don't. You wont be sorry. I purchased two of these for my daughters' birthday. Now that my third daughter is turning 4 she wanted one too. I was surprised to see how much they had gone up in price. Just last year I bought the blonde one on amazon for $32 and the brunette was even cheaper at just $28!! (Two years ago, also on amazon) I guess they've become very popular and hard to find so the price has gone up the last two years. I will by the doll for the third time, even though the price is a little high. She is a very pretty doll and she has a sweet vanilla scent. Not overpowing at all. With 7 kids I just don't spend this kind of money unless I feel that the it's totally worth it. Just one more note. The hair on this doll is even better than American Girl dolls! Hard to believe I know, but totally true. We have a few A.G. and have paid an arm and a leg sending them to the "doll Hospital" for a new head because their hair was just so tangled and knotty. These dolls can really stand up to countless hairstyles, all sorts of hair clips and many bubble baths. I guess you could say we're really big fans!!

I purchased this dolly for my 3yr old daughter after she asked Santa for a ballerina doll. She is sooooo pretty! A delicate face with eyes that open and close, a gorgeous ballerina costume that sparkles and a delicate aroma of vanilla makes this doll wonderful. My daughter LOVES her! The price was definitely right here on Amazon. Thee perfect doll to fulfill her Christmas wish.

This doll's face is beautiful. The eyes are sparkly blue and the hair is my favorite part, very long and glossy. The ballerina outfit is precious, I love the longer skirt, pointe shoes & headband. I've purchased a few of the Corolle Les Cheries dolls, and this Chloe Ballerina is my favorite.

Honest reviews on Corolle Les Cheries Chloe Ballerina Fashion Doll

We purchased this doll for our 3 1/2 year old daughter and it's perfect for her. It's not too small (like Barbie) and not too big. The doll is plastic, but soft, and she's very pretty. Her hair is soft and easy for my daughter to brush. We bought Les Corolle 13" clothing for her, and they fit great. The doll's headband is stitched onto her head, which I like because you can't lose it. This is a great doll for preschool-aged girls. I definintely recommend it for parents considering purchasing one.

I got Chloe for my 6 year old daughter, she is beautiful, smells great, and her hair looks great after several months of play. Her hair de-tangles so easily, half the time we just run our fingers through it really quick and she looks like new! When I was little I always wanted an American Girl Doll. I thought about getting her one, but I am trying to teach my children that we should use our money to help others, people in need, and buying a hundred dollar doll just didn't fit in with that message. I read the reviews for Chloe so we got her and we were not disappointed! One of the things I like about AGDolls is all the outfits, Corolle's outfits for Chloe are expensive, but you can get cute clothes for her on Etsy and Ebay for $6-12 dollars. Sometimes they only have one or two on Etsy, but if you check back other times they have tons. Right now they are sold out for Christmas. Just search for Corolle Les Cheries doll clothes on those sites. I have a 2 year old daughter as well who I will definitely get a Les Cheries doll for when she is older.

I try to find a collection of dolls that I can give my grand daughters and this was perfect. There are many different groovy girls and I have already given 3 of them and she is 3 and she loves them. My other granddaughter I nicknamed Princess, so I picked the PRINCESS COLLECTION FROM DISNEY which also are super and she looves the collection because she already had 1 when I gave her the next 3 over the last year. She is 5 and everytime I see her she has a princess costume on and her dolls are lined up on the window sill. In fact both grand daughters are into their dolls.

The dolls are very well made and have taken quite a bit of use because each has a brother that keeps trying to get the doll. The groovy girl is esopecially made for rough play like the raggy ann doll was all those years ago with my own daughter.

Review of Monster High Transforming Bag

Customer Ratings:

OF all the monster high bags out there, this is by far the best quality one. The colors are bright, bold and fun. The zippers work well. It is a unique style of bag. It does not look cheap. I think that 20 bucks is the max I'd pay for it though. I give it 4 stars simply because the handle could be attached better, stronger.
