We bought this exact doll here on Amazon six years ago for our daughter who was four years old at the time as a Christmas gift. She has slept with it almost every night since then, has taken it along almost everywhere, and it remains one of her most prized possessions. The doll is of excellent quality, has an adorable and nearly lifelike face, and a very soft body perfect for a little girl to hold and cuddle. We have yet to find another Christmas gift for our daughter, now 10 years old, that will be as beloved as this one was.

I am surprised to admit that this baby doll is worth every penny! She was bought for grandaughter's 2nd birthday. Immediately upon opening the package, she reached for her "baby" and they have been inseparable ever since. The first thing she did was kiss the dolls head and reach for the bottle to feed her. This doll is just the right size for her 2 year old height and is exactly soft enough for cuddle action. The head, hands and feet have a pleasant skin soft feel. The little bunny was also a "hit", but the book was too small to be of much use and and I was glad I had also bought a Little Golden "mommy" book to present with the doll. I wondered why the nipple on the little bottle was so long and skinny, but my grandaughter didn't mind that. My only "complaint" would be the doll's vanilla fragrance is a little over powering for those who have sensitivity to perfumes. I assume the intensity of the smell will fade over time. My grandaughter received 2 other dolls at her birthday party, but this is the one she delights in. Right now this doll's name is "my baby" and I suspect will be with her for years!

This baby doll is so worth the money! I admit that I am quite a doll snob. I sew and sell handmade Waldorf dolls, so I am very particular about any store bought dolls. However, I love Corolle dolls. My little girl received a Calin doll for her second birthday, and loved loved loved her. She is now making four years old and I wanted a slightly larger baby doll for her. If you want a size comparison, Bebe Do is just a little taller and a tad fuller in the body then Calin. Bebe Do is the perfect size for my four year old. Dolls that are much larger than this are too bulky for little ones to carry easily and seem to get neglected. I had ordered the 17" Corolle doll, Lila, and she is far too big for my four year old. Lila is as big as a real baby. Also, if you are trying to choose between Lila and Bebe Do, I'll tell you that Bebe Do is much cuter in person than Lila is. I returned our Lila doll in favor of keeping Bebe Do. Calin has been so well loved that she is a bit flimsy now. Bebe Do is the perfect addition to my little girl's doll family. This doll has the sweetest face, absolutely adorable. I debated between a Bitty Baby and Bebe Do, and am so glad I went with Bebe Do. I am a fan of American Girl and have their historical dolls, but Bitty Baby does not compare to Bebe Do in terms of face sculpt or even the cute factor. Bebe Do also has more delicate hands than Bitty Baby. And that sweet Corolle vanilla smell is so perfect. It is not at all overpowering, very subtle. Our Calin doll still has her sweet smell two years and a few washing machine cycles later. If you do wash your doll, be sure to put her in a pillowcase on gentle. You will love this Corolle doll!!

The Merida doll is realistic, with freckles and neat shoes. Angus the horse is less so. The plastic is ultra shiny and most of his tail hair fell out by the second day, as it wouldn't stand up to brushing. Next time I would probably buy a more expensive set if I wanted them to last.

We purchased this toy from Amazon over 6 months ago for a 4 year old's Chirstmas gift. It is still in good condition and still being played with unlike many other Christmas gifts. The Merida doll is one of the few "Barbie" type dolls that we have whose legs will allow for her to ride on a horse. She can also sit upright on the floor and her knees can bend slightly. I put her hair in a ponytail and it has held up well. The Angus Horse figure's mane comes with a plastic holder on it. I left that in place and it has kept the mane from being a tangled mess although it would be a choking hazard for smaller children should it come loose.

I don't like the review to say we "hate it" but definitely not pleased! Merida is great, but the Angus is not! His main and tail fall out. In fact, our tail fell completely out! We called Matel and told them, they did replace it, but that one's tail is shedding out all over the place too... won't be long before that one has no tail either.

I bought this for my daughter for $25 via Amazon Prime. We usually buy our toys at Target so our daughter can look at the toys up close and choose, but we were tired of paying $20 for a very small toy sets (we recently bought her a Squinky castle for $20 that is 1/4 the size of this princess castle).

So hopefully I can help set the record straight for anyone considering buying this for their child but are weary after reading some of the "TINY" reviews. This castle measures 18 inches high by 27 inches wide when expanded (which is how the kids will play with it). Let me assure you and this is coming from a dad who has wasted plenty of money on "tiny" castle and house sets throughout the years this princess castle is NOT tiny. IMO, it's the perfect size. It's not so obnoxiously big that it takes up half her bedroom space and it's not so small that she can't hardly play with it. So rest assured parents, unless you saw the photos and thought you were getting a 3 foot high doll house, you will be happy with the size.

We were also pleasantly surprised with the quality of the parts and the ease of assembly. The painted parts are done very well and don't look or feel cheap like some toy sets. It also comes with many colorful and well printed stickers that makes the finished castle look very charming. I don't know how much others paid for this, but if you get it for $25 like we did, it's a serious bargain.

We bought this castle as a reward for my daughter. Once she used the potty all the time she could have this castle. She did it and she loves this castle. She enjoys the different spots in the castle, including the surprise closet and the little kitchen tools.

The clip clothes are very awesome. The clip essentially opens the dress at the neckline for you to insert the doll. Very easy and fun to do. My daughter took Cindy with us to the grocery store, with just the two dresses to play with. These are much better than the rubbery dresses, which I have to put on the dolls for her.

A note: I bought our Castle at the big box toy store in town, and it was missing pieces. One call to Mattel is all it took, and the missing instructions, carpet, clock hands and decals were on their way. My daughter loved helping me "finish" the castle when it arrived. (And it arrived days sooner than they said to expect it.)

My girls received this as a gift because they Love anything doll house or princess related. I would NEVER have payed anywhere near the price for this in the first place and would have returned it after opening if I had purchased it...but since it was a gift, we still have it.

First complaint is that the far left side room(if you have rooms facing you) has such crappy hinges that it won't even stay on. I re-attach it all the time but no matter what, it won't stay together.

The castle itself is TINY! There is hardly any room to play in the thing at all. Many of the accessories are really tiny, good possibility of losing them, they are hard to actually even play with and definately want to keep them away from younger children.

Overall this just feels like a cheap plastic, not well made, very tiny and majorly overpriced item. I would NOT recommend this to anyone. If your daughter is set on a castle, I've seen many small and cheap generic castles that can't be anymore cheap feeling or poor quality than this is but will likely cost a lot less money.

The only positive thing about this are the clip on dresses, they are easy enough for my almost 4 year old twins to do. They play with the tiny dolls and their dresses in their other doll houses, they don't even ever play with this castle.

My girls have the Fisher Price Loving Family Dollhouse, I do recommend that...although I think the dollhouses that have a completely open design(like no pillars in the way of them playing) are much better.

We bought the Cinderella Magic Clip Castle Doll House for my daughter's third birthday. She has developed a fascination with Cinderella (and all things Disney princess) lately, so we thought she would enjoy having a castle and a few dolls to play with. She was thrilled with it and has spent quite a lot of time playing quietly alone, making up stories and conversations between her Cinderella doll and her similar-sized Toy Story 3 figurines. I love that she's spending quality imagination time instead of being plugged into an electronic device of some kind, and she loves for me (dad) to play with her so it's been a good way to bond, as well.

My daughter really likes the relative ease with which the clip on dresses can be changed (this set comes with three), as well as the various rooms and pieces of furniture (a table, a stove, a tray of cupcakes, an end table, etc.) and the rotating wardrobe that twists open to reveal a place for one of the dresses to be stored. It's a nice set for someone her age, and seems reasonably durable for normal play. However, the set also comes with several very tiny furnishings (a teapot, cup, saucer, broom, bucket, etc.) that we had to put away so that our other girl (9 months old) wouldn't find them, put them in her mouth, and choke on them. As long as your child can be trusted to handle small objects and there are no other (younger) children to worry about, the little included extras are quite nice. But be aware that they pose a serious choking hazard and will need to be put away if you have very young ones around.

Other reviewers are correct that the castle is quite small, with only a little space for one or two dolls in any given "room" of the castle. However, that doesn't seem to bother my daughter and, as a parent, I appreciate that this toy doesn't take up a lot of space. If you have room and desire for a full-sized doll house and all the trimmings, that may be preferable, but if space is limited and you're looking for a simple castle-themed playset with easy-to-dress dolls, this is a good bet. The only additional expense you might need would be to buy another doll or two, unless your child already has other toys similar in scale. This set comes with only one Cinderella doll and three clip-on dresses, but other clip-on-dress type Disney dolls can be purchased separately if desired.

Overall, this is a good value at $25 and has turned out to be a wonderful present for a three-year-old girl. I noticed that one local store sells this set for twice as much ($50) but I would not have paid that much. The Amazon price of $25 seems quite reasonable. If you have a child who likes Disney princesses or has a craving for a doll-house type playset, and who can be trusted not to eat the small accessories, this is a very good choice.

We bought this for my 3 year old girl's birthday. It was SO easy to set up...only took 1/2 hour for all pieces, including the oven and sink! This product is just o.k.. I thought it would be bigger and heavier. I bought it for my 2 1/2 year old.

It's pretty flimsy and can be easily pushed over (by a 11 month old who is holding on to every thing to walk).

The stove that came with it is tiny as you can see in the picture the kids have to be on their knees to use it.

I don't mean to sound so negitive and am sorry if I have discouraged you but it's just not a favorite. It is really cute though.

My daughter received this for her 2nd birthday-she loves it! It is larger than we thought it would be in size. It takes up a good portion of our living room, but my daughter has too much fun with the cottage to worry about the space it takes up. The house pieces nest together nicely, but I wish that it would be a little easier to take the whole thing down if we wanted to-we just don't want to put the poles together again. Overall, the whole cottage goes up very easily and it is a blast to play with.

My Daughter, 2 1/2, and Son, 5, love playing with this set. I like the way one piece sits inside the other when playtime is finished. I have even set it up with the open areas facing each other to make a square house.

I do question the durablity of the plastic connectors. My kids are very active and move the pieces around, sometimes not making sure that the frame is flat on the floor, i.e. a toy get between the frame and floor. The connectors bend if they or the frame is stepped upon and are difficult to straighten. They are also starting to show signs of splitting where the frame pieces meet the connectors.

Great product if your child or childern leaves it where you place it. Provides hours of imaginative play.

It is now near the end of April and the play house is gone. Several seams came apart, a couple of holes from wear, 5 connectors completely split, several supports were bent beyond fixing. THIS IS NOT an item for children who want to move it around. Sadly it did not last for very long. I will not be replacing it.

My 6 year old daughter saved her money for 1 year for this American Doll Room. She has had the room for almost a week now and has been very happy with her purchase. The room was shipped on Thursday and arrived by that Saturday. The room was packaged well for shipping so there were no bent pieces. The room came with a carpet square and 2 carring bags, one for the room and the other was a duffel for doll and accessories so you could take them on the go. The duffel bags are great quailty and look like they will hold up for years of play. My favorite part of the whole room is that it folds completly flat for easy storage and travel. The room was bigger than I expected. It was tall enough for my daughter's American Doll Felicy 4 poster bed to fit. She likes the wainscoting on the bottom of the walls and the dusty blue, slightly patterned walls. The room has 2 windows with a "view" of a field. The room also came with 2 sets of curtains that attach with velcrow. My dauhter liked that she could reverse the room and turn it into a patio, where she set up her doll to pertend to carve a pumpkin. My daughter has had her dolls for almost 2 years now, and I have always felt that there was something missing when she was playing with them. The room has helped to expand her imagination when she is playing, because it has helped her play with the accesories that she has inside the room. I bought the same exact doll for my daughter and I purchased it on the black friday after thanksgiving to give her that doll as a christmas present. I bought it at walmart and it only costed me $25.00...I cannot believe the outrages of price that this doll has right here. If the doll would of cost me that much on the date I purchased it, I would not purchased it at all..The doll is perfect since it is a very nice friend who the child could really trust on, play with, etc.; it is durable since I bought it back on 2008 and she still has it, the only thing that broke was the arm since the base of the arm came off from the actual piece. Overall, it is a great product, but I would search deeply with different stores to find it at a better price.

I bought the My size barbie doll for my 4 year old daughter. My daughter loves the doll and plays with it daily, I feel the doll encourages roll play and the use of imagination that so many toys lack these days. The doll does cost I think a little much,I would encourage whoever is considering this doll to really think about how much the child they are buying it for will play with it. We've had Corolle doll accessories in our house for quite some time. But we never had the guts to plunk down fifty bucks on ... a baby doll! But this past Christmas, our youngest (of 4), at 2-years-old wanted a baby doll. Her own, not the ones passed down three times. So we figured we'd splurge and get her a Corolle doll as her "one big gift". This after spending hours perusing every baby doll in Babies R Us, Toys R Us, Target, and Walmart. You know what you can't find at those places? A baby that doesn't stink, pee/poop, laugh, or cry. Cry?! Seriously, we finally have all of our kids past the crying newborn phase and you expect me to bring a crying baby doll into the house? Nuts.

Then I found Corolle dolls at a local non-chain toy store. Lovely...but whoa, that price tag. And though I would have love to support my local shop, their price was twenty bucks more than amazon's! One thing I was thankful for was to see the three sizes up close. The 12" doll is really tiny and the larger model is quite large. Corolle's 14" doll was just what we were looking for, and apparently has the most options in terms of clothes and other accessories.

This doll is quite possible the perfect baby doll (and this is dad writing this!). It has just enough fragrance to make it endearing, not nauseating. It has the perfect weight not too heavy, not too light. The head is perfectly balanced with the body. The baby's thumb, bottle, and pacifier all press neatly into her mouth so even my 2-year-old can do it (other dolls require a hammer to smash the cute little thumb into the mouth). The doll, clothes, and accessories are all very well made and should hold up for many years (probably past her love for it...). If you can get past the price tag, I guarantee that your little one will love this doll for many years.

This is my third corolle doll for my 19mo old. i have the 12'bath one and a 17' one...she loves them all..but this baby is by far the best!!!!!! she is so soft and lovable..easy to carry. not to small or big!! she even sits!! her bottom just has more beans..her skin tone is perfect..looks like my tanned little girl..pic is darker than she really is..but she is no where near pale...all the lttle girls in our circle throw down their ashton drake babies down for this one!!! everywhere we go people say she smells sooo good and want to know where to get one...corolle will be the only brand i buy.

I bought this Bebe Charmeur doll for my daughter's 2nd birthday. She loves it, and was playing with it before I got it out of the box. My 4 year old son was actually very taken with it as well, and asked for a doll for the first time in his life! Bebe Charmeur seems like a quality product. It is not too heavy and not too light, it has a weighted bottom so that it can sit up, the eyes open and close smoothly, etc. Most of the accessories are already lost, of course, but my daughter gets a kick out of making this doll suck her thumb and go "night-night." She sleeps with it and wants to take it everywhere. I decided on this particular brand after looking for the safest doll possible that is still a vinyl doll. My daughter is really drawn to the look of these dolls and didn't have one. This doll, while made in China, complies with both U.S. and European safety standards (it is marked as such on the box and carries the CE stamp). I am aware that there is some risk with all vinyl dolls, but my hope is that this one is as safe as they come. The Corolle dolls are pricier than I would like, but I wanted something durable and safe. My only quibble is that it is oh so PINK! I am not a huge fan of pink, but of course half the fun of having a doll is changing her clothes! We'll just have to make some new outfits for "Mimi Baby," as my daughter calls her.

I was very impressed with the quality of these beautiful doll clothes and accessories. The style of this dress outfit is very cute and trendy. The colors are bright and over all the picture doesn't show just how beautiful this outfit really is. My daughter loves it for her 18" American girl doll. We are very happy!

No complaints, no problems. The outfit fits an American Girl doll (18") perfectly (also "My Life" doll). The dress is beautiful, the shoes go on easily, which is a nice change, and my daughter was completely happy!
