This doll is nice and attractive. Appears to be well made. Hair layered in back and straight which may appear chopped, but a little styling could take care of that or just leave it. Definately a doll who wants to be played with, not set on a shelf.

This is not a playing doll, nor a toy for that matter as far as I'm concerned. It's a doll for displaying in a collection. The clothing is well made and the details are exceptional. It's small and very compact that you can display it on a shelf and still keep it in the box. The actress of this popular TV series, America Ferrera probaby giggles at the 'look' this doll has that has made her more well known to the public. Now I wish someone would come out with a fashion doll of America herself with features that look like hers.

My 6 year old daughter saved her money for 1 year for this American Doll Room. She has had the room for almost a week now and has been very happy with her purchase. The room was shipped on Thursday and arrived by that Saturday. The room was packaged well for shipping so there were no bent pieces. The room came with a carpet square and 2 carring bags, one for the room and the other was a duffel for doll and accessories so you could take them on the go. The duffel bags are great quailty and look like they will hold up for years of play. My favorite part of the whole room is that it folds completly flat for easy storage and travel. The room was bigger than I expected. It was tall enough for my daughter's American Doll Felicy 4 poster bed to fit. She likes the wainscoting on the bottom of the walls and the dusty blue, slightly patterned walls. The room has 2 windows with a "view" of a field. The room also came with 2 sets of curtains that attach with velcrow. My dauhter liked that she could reverse the room and turn it into a patio, where she set up her doll to pertend to carve a pumpkin. My daughter has had her dolls for almost 2 years now, and I have always felt that there was something missing when she was playing with them. The room has helped to expand her imagination when she is playing, because it has helped her play with the accesories that she has inside the room. This would be a great purchase for any little girl who loves to play with her dolls

5 stars for the handmade craftsmanship. Disappointed at first by commercial like box but the doll inside is a treasure. New to Adora so I think the box will grow on me with each addition I plan on making in the future.

Took the clothes off right away and am impressed by style of cloth body. It does remind me of "Old Country" European doll making. I think children won't be intimidated to play with an Adora doll. Goes with you anywhere kind of baby.

Monster High Basic Travel Deuce Gorgon Doll Review

Let's face it: when it comes to our kids and/or our collections, it's EASY to let emotions get the better of us, and lead us to make foolish choices! One foolish choice would be to pay too much for this doll. I understand that certain dolls can be extremely hard to find, but unless they are out of production, then ANYTHING over retail plus a 10-15% finders fee is excessive. I wouldn't even pay one cent over retail, as the thrill of the chase is half of the fun of growing and owning a collection.

I have watched this doll's price jump higher and higher (in spite of more being available at amazon.com and other online sources recently); I even considered buying one when I saw it available for $40 with free super-saver shipping, but then I remembered: it is a doll that has a suggested retail of $14.99! I decided to wait and see if Deuce popped up down the road sometime. After all, SCALPERS will ONLY engage in the activity as long as it remains profitable, and WORTH THEIR TIME to do so! I choose to suck the wind right out of their sails, and I encourage readers to do the same.

I was walking through Target the other day, and decided to check the toy department, and to my shock, there was Deuce Gorgon available, and on sale for $11.99! They only had one, but I was happy to get him. Based on the dolls on the shelf, they only received one case of the Basic Scaris dolls, which means only one Deuce Gorgon. I do wish Mattel would just switch the way they ship doll cases to allow for equal distribution of dolls in each case. Instead of 6 per case (with four different dolls in the series), if they made larger cases, they could put 3 of each in the case. There has to be a better way, as it seems that each time they introduce a series of these dolls, the hardest to find dolls are the ones that only come one in a case. But enough about distribution, and buying practices, let's get on with the actual doll!

As far as Monster High Basic dolls go, Deuce is pretty cool! I actually like him a lot; he is almost identical to his original release with one BIG exception: the wrists. Mattel made Deuce with articulated wrists AND elbows, where previous versions had articulated elbows with the forearms, and hands being one piece. The new arm and hand molds allow for more possibilities when posing Deuce for display, or play. Deuce also has the iconic molded hair of snakes that we have all grown to love. The molded hair actually makes Deuce extremely easy to care for, and as a result, he is perfect for kids aged 6 and up (but I still think that 10 and up is most appropriate for any Monster High themed merchandise). Deuce comes dressed in argyle print shorts, and a sleeveless green hoodie that is fashionable, but not functional, as the hood does not fit over his head...but it still looks great! He also sports cool black slip on Keds style shoes with a killer green snake and skull design on the tops.

As with ANY Monster High doll, I would recommend Deuce for older kids, and adults because the dolls themselves can break if mishandled, or during rough play.

Overall, Deuce would make a great addition to any collection, whether it be for display, or play....as long as he is purchased at a fair price!

I bought this for my little girl and we have many monster high dolls so I know looking for the hot ghoul is stressful. I went to a website called zoolert you pick the items you are looking for and a text message, email, or alert on the computer will sound when it is stock at normal price. This is how I got this toy from amazon without paying the high price for it, this did take some time though. I would get a text message run to the computer add it to cart and go to pay and it would already be out of stock, I did this 4 times in one day. I did not give up and it did work finally and now she will have a boy monster in time for Christmas. I hope this will help someone with this toy or any thing like. I also got my daughters furby sling bag and chair this way as well for normal price. *****Edit***** We got the doll in and it is great, he goes great with the other dolls and its nice to have another boy. His eye look like snake eyes, he does have a tattoo on his arm and his snakes on hid head did mark up the box on the inside, but his snakes were fine no paint missing. Only thing I will say is that his clothes are not as dressy as the other dolls from the Scaris line, (I knew that buying him that why i still gave him 5 stars) I will be trying to find him something nicer to wear for my daughter.

I left a very angry review on another Deuce posted on here, to the price gougers and consumers that waste your money and encourage them, it's very stupid no matter how desperate. It's a TOY. No TOY should be bought for nearly 60 dollars when he's 14.99 in stores MAX. To rub it in all you have to; All I HAD TO DO, was call a few local shops TRU for me (Toys R Us) and found out their truck schedules went to the store early and guess what? Got Deuce, $14.99 take that price gougers! People please just try harder at your stores HE IS THERE!!!!! CHEAP!

Now as for the review of this wonderful addition,

He's durable, his limbs pop on and off flawlessly no factory errors, this boy I think is a first with MOVEABLE WRISTS! Stylish bag and glasses and of course cute snake/scale motif. No stand though or brush obviously as his hair is a plastic mold of the medusa like snakes. Overall he's a fantastic addition a must have BUT NEVER FOR A PENNY MORE THAN $20

lindsay the bee is so cute, and my two girls play with our paddywhack kids endlessly. they have even been inspired to create their own costume bin like the paddywhack kids, so yeah, these are great toys that teach nice life lessons. anyway, the durability isn't perfect, and we did have some issues with the bee hat. however, i won't hesitate to buy more from paddywhack lane because their customer service makes it all worth it. thank you bob for your prompt help and cheerful attitude.

This is an excellent gift and one of the best of the reproductions. She comes in a box with all the design of a 1970s doll and looks like something I would have received as a present when I was a kid in 1971. Even the yellow color of the box feels very 1970s.

Becky comes with bendable legs, twist and turn waist, and rooted eyelashes. She also comes with 3 very 1970s party outfits and a tray/glasses for the party. Other accessories include period items such as a phone, grooming set, camera, party list and record player. And the 3 outfits are very cute and feel wonderfully period as well. The styling of the outfits is exceptional yet they feel very much of the period.

Becky was never produced she was a prototype. I honestly don't want to take her out of the box because she makes a lovely display and she feels so much like a present I would have received in the past.

In all, highly recommended.

A really beautiful doll I have long waited for. I've always thought the polularity of the Malibu line is why she was not launched and after seeing her in this gift set I can think of no other reason she was not released. She has style and a youthful beauty like the Moddest Francie, easily interchangeable fashion pieces, and frankly a the look of her in these fashions reminds me of nothing more than the height of the Mary Tyler Moore show. Absolutely beautiful and delightful collector doll. Children should love her as well with her easily positional body and many mix and match clothing and accessory pieces.

This doll is just too cute! The light-up feature is a little weird (there are lights in the thighs & the tummy, which alternate lighting up after you press the button). I wouldn't consider the lights a selling factor at all. The semi-translucent (see-through)parts of her body are really cool looking. The sparkly nature of her "skin" is very FANTASY-esque. Her hair is delightful! It's done in a set "do", so brushing it would probably ruin it (not a doll for little girls who love to brush hair!)... but the "do" she comes with is pretty enough to keep it that way.

The wings are okay (I'm a huge fan of the original Sparkle Fairies, so anything else is "okay").

As for the person who said the shoes don't stay on, 'you might as well throw them away', you can send them to me :D I think they're greatand if you can't make them stay on, use one of the small, clear rubberbands that come with almost every new Barbie to hold accessories in place in the box (you can't see the rubberbands holding the shoes on). But, yeah, anyone who buys this doll and doesn't want the shoes,I'll take 'em *wink*

The outfits are AWESOME. The skirt is a bit tricky to figure out at first. It's not like the old "Snap 'N Play" Barbie stuffyou do have to put a little effort into (or a child might need some help with it), but once it's on, it's beautiful. I used the purple outfit on a My Scene Birthday Party Barbie (with the purple glitter "tattoo"), and it looks marvelous on her. My husband saw her, and thought it was a new Fairy LOL!

The only thing I don't care for about with this doll is the price. I could do without the light-up effect if it brougth the price down a few bucks.

Over all, I give this a 5 STARS because I think she is a wonderful addition to my Fairitopia collection... and would be great for anyone who likes Fairies :D

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It was cute, but I was rather disappointed. First of all, the wrap-around skirt would not fit around the doll's waist so that the velcro would match up and close (we tried moving it up and down) because the velcro was not sewn in the correct positions to fit around an American Girl doll's waist. I had to remove the velcro and sew it back on in different spots to fit. To me, if I am paying almost $30 for this outfit, I should not have to do this. The tights snagged immediately because of all of the velcro on the other layers of clothes. This is not necessarily the manufacturer's fault, but it is something to be aware of since little girls will be dressing and undressing the doll and it requires a lot of skill to get the leotard on over the tights without snagging them. For the money, I was disappointed in the quality of this product.

I bought this outfit for my niece's American Girl doll and the black dye of the leotard has bled onto the body of the doll thus causing the body to have grey spots. I am completely embarrassed that I gave this item as a gift and it has discolored my niece's favorite doll.

What. The. Crap. All these dolls are wearing mini skirts. If MGA was aiming to achieve a degree of realism with this line, they've done it. The Bratz look like realistic posers. When was the last time you went golfing in a mini skirt? Honestly, the only girl I know who went golfing in a mini skirt works in the adult film industry. But I digress.

As for durability, I haven't heard good reviews about the Bratz's feet. Apparently they're flimsy and fall of easily. Bratz may be willing to spend two hundred dollars and an entire afternoon getting a pedicure, but really, what's the point if your feet won't stay ON?

I understand that these girls are fashion dolls. I accept that. They're good at their jobs. They're just not good at sports. At least Barbie dresses APPROPRIATELY when she yells fore. There's a fine line between being fashionable and being a skank. A very, very fine line. And Chloe just tripped over it when her foot fell off.

Congratulations, apparently golf is the only other job besides being a super hero in which you can win awards while wearing almost nothing. Leg-wise.

I love this cloe doll so much better than her 2nd cheerleading version. This doll look suits her better.

Cloes hair has 1 braid which i kept in and her light blonde straight locks make her super cute. She has bright pink lips and a neutral tone of eyeshadoe on.

Cloe is wearing a knitted caddy style vest/sweater which is a nice shade of yellow, a clack mini and the same style leg warnmers as her sweater and golfing shoes. The outfit is adorable.
