My daughters love Dora so grandpa bought them this house last Christmas and even without adding furniture until this Christmas it has been a toy they often played with. My biggest complaint is that there is no room for much furniture and when you close up the house there is nowhere to store the furniture. Other than that it has held up well, the door pops off very easily but overall it's held up to my 1yr old climbing all over it and the door pops back on easily, it's more of an annoyance than anything having to find it and put it back on all the time.

Okay I have NEVER taken the time to write a review, but I really must share. I have two girls, 8 and 5. They have an embarrassing amount of toys that they don't play with or that have lost their luster in a few short weeks. We received the Dora house and some of the furniture 3 years (ish) ago and have bought more furniture since. This is the ONLY staple toy we have ever had. They still play with this for hours every week. Durability is unparalleled. Easy of play, upkeep, and storage, amazing. I have said to my husband no less than 10 times "the Dora House is the best toy we have ever owned". And FYI: we have gotten rid of TWO Barbie castles and several Littlest Pet Shop and Polly Pocket items in the same three years.

Dora the Explorer is a popular children's television program for the under five age group and her likeness can be found on everything from food labels to clothing. She has also spawned a great deal of toys and the Fisher Price Dora the Explorer Talking Doll House ranks among the larger toys available, complete with fold out walls and expandable top, adding additional space that can keep children occupied for hours.

The Fisher Price Dora the Explorer Talking Doll House is most notable for its size and the multiple rooms contained within. The best of the rooms is the kitchen because it is here where most of the sounds are created and where most of the fun can be found. The other rooms in the house are basically empty, but the kitchen already has built in appliances and other things. I have found that my girls like the kitchen most of all and they have fun playing with the refrigerator, stove, and other objects. They like activating the sounds and interacting with the included toy figures of Dora and her madre and padre.

Speaking of the sounds, this is one of the main features of the Dora the Explorer Talking Doll House. These sounds are bilingual, but not always entirely so, and they are intended to help children learn Spanish words. When a button is pressed, the refrigerator door is opened, etc., the phrase will be stated in English first. Press it quickly again, and the phrase will be repeated either entirely in Spanish, or with the final word or words in Spanish. All of them feature Dora's voice, so young fans of the show will easily recognize the voice and enjoy the sounds.

This talking doll house has much to offer young fans of the television program, but there are some features/facts about this dollhouse that make it less than perfect. The way the sides fold open, platforms are created that can serve as a floor area while children play. This is nice, but the problem is there is no place to store any added accessories. The dollhouse is constructed in a way that makes it as compact as possible for better storage when folded shut. But this means there is almost no empty space on the interior for storage. And speaking of accessories, there are very few included with this doll house. There are exactly four: Three people figures and one couch. So, if you want more, you have to buy them separately, and this can greatly increase the overall cost of an already expensive toy.

The construction of the Fisher Price Dora the Explorer Talking Doll House is strong and sturdy, but one piece that isn't so durable is the front door. The door isn't permanently attached, and thus it falls off very easily. When I first noticed this, I thought perhaps I got a defective doll house, but from reading other reviews, it looks like this problem is common. This means that the manufacturer made it this way. Why, I have no idea because not only is it annoying to open the door and have it pop off, it also means you have another piece that could potentially get lost.

The Dora the Explorer Talking Doll House is a toy my girls love because is depicts one of their favorite television characters. They love the sounds and anything else that deals with Dora, and they enjoy the time they spend playing with this toy. However, parents will find many components of this toy troubling and will get annoyed by the constant sounds coming from the dollhouse as their excited children press and pull each of the soundmaking objects over and over again. For these reasons, I can give the Fisher Price Dora the Explorer Talking Doll House only an average rating overall. If your children love the show, they will love this doll house. But parents will find it lacking in many areas.

First of all I am taking the time on Christmas day to share my disapointment with this toy. I paid $79.99 for this for my Daughter who is 5 years old, We opened the box on Christmas morning and the only thing this item has inside is the couch, a lamp and a small Dora figure. For $79.99 Stupid me I didn't read and see that the accessories did not come with the house but I personally feel this is a rip off!! it is going to cost me another $100+ easy to furnish this for my Daughter who will probably use this for another year if that! I am so disappointed with this purchase that I have taken the time on Christmas day to share my review. Don't waste your money there are far better houses you can find with more furniture for a little bit more money. The Hannah Montana beach house for one I researched after the fact comes with 80 accessories that are useable for a child and it's $139 at Toys R Us I will remember next year to learn from my experience this year and to READ the labels better on boxes. I just honestly don't feel you get much for your money here they could have at least given you a couple of more pieces of furniture and not made the box so deciveing to make you think except in one area that it comes with 3 pieces. Big Rip OFF, Merry Christmas to the scrooge that designed this product!!!!!!!!!!

Worst part is the look on my little girls face because she has an empty doll house that she can't use. I am honestly so livid about this....

I love the construction of the house. It folds up to a great storing size, yet expands to a very large house. I was disappointed in how little came with this house. I think the amazon pictures are deceiving. It only came with Dora, Tico, boots, a couch and a present. I thought Mami and Papi were also included.

I looked at a lot of these bath dolls and ended up choosing this one (Tidoo Raspberry) b/c the outfit is so cute and simple bright pink tunic and leggings, with no words on the shirt like some of the older outfits. The outfit can be easily taken on and off, and my daughter doesn't lose the pacifier because it is sewn into the shirt. Doll's thumb fits in her mouth too, and no teeth which makes her look more like a baby. The ducky is an extra bonus. My daughter hasn't used this in the tub yet, but she loves to play with her baby all day, so the tub will be an extra bonus! She is pretty light which is perfect for my 2 1/2 year old who is on the small side. She takes this doll with her everywhere! Very cute face, and the head turns too. I was a little concerned about the vanilla scent, but it is not strong at all. Highly recommend this doll!

We purchased this doll for our 2 year old granddaughter. She liked it then, but now at 3, she is playing with her doll every day! The doll is very soft and cuddly. The pacifier stays in the dolls mouth and is indestructable. She brings the doll with her in the tub too. This doll has shown no wear over the last year and she's taken in the car, outside, and over friends houses. It's the perfect size for toddler girls also.

I bought this doll for my daughter's 1 year birthday. At first I thought she was too young to play with it but once it was out of the box she immediately started playing with it more than other toys. It's light enough that she can carry it, the round head fits exactly into her tiny palm and she cups the head while feeding it a bottle oftentimes in the eye instead of the mouth. We bought a magic milk bottle at a toy store and it fits exactly into this dolls mouth, as well as the pacifier that comes with the doll. I didn't realize this when I bought it but this doll can take baths with the kids! I haven't tried it yet but it seems this one is made to go in the water. Maybe why it's so light and easy for my 14 month old to carry.

The outfit is simple and doesn't have the logo which is a plus for me. Also as mentioned the mouth is round, with no teeth, which makes her like a real baby and which accommodates a magic baby bottle. Great doll overall.

I have to say, these are some pretty adorable dolls. I started out with buying one for my daughter, for her birthday. I have, since that time, bought every one of them. I can't resist. These modern day ragdolls are absolutely the most adorable, well-made, and easy to clean toy. The plastic hair is much better than yarn or the synthetic type that looks terrible after awhile. What's up with the price gouging? 500 dollars for the mini version?! You've got to be kidding me! They're still available for 20-25 dollars. Who in their right mind would pay that kind of money unless they were extremely rare? Granted, they're sure to be very collectible, but not quite yet-and certainly not at that price. Let's be reasonable folks!!

I purchased two Lalaloopsy dolls for my daughter. I was a little surprised by the first doll. I had assumed the head was cloth, I didn't realize it was all plastic and that it would be so heavy. Once I got used to it, I actually now enjoy the heaviness of the doll, it feels sturdy and durable, when I play with my daughter with these dolls I hold them by the neck and it is fun to turn the head and move the arms and legs. The colors are wonderful, cute and bright. The pets are fun. The packaging could use improvement.. each Lalaloopsy head winds up having these tiny holes in them where the plastic tags held the head to the inside of the box. I enjoy the fact that the hair is plastic.. I am always having to brush the hair of my 3 yr old daughter's dolls because she flips if the hair gets tangled but she can't brush it out herself (I wish she cared about her OWN hair that much! LOL). To make a long story short: great doll, very fun, sweet and cute!

This is a complete set a short jacket, skirt, shirt and a hair pin. The clothes fit well for the American Girl dolls and they are durable (meaning they can be taken on/off and washed multiple times without any seams coming loose yet). Will buy from this company again.

We have both the European (Simba Toys) and this US version (Jakks Pacific) and the difference in quality is remarkable. The US version is fully articulated, better and fluffier hair, and sturdy fluttering wings with intricate designs painted on them. Note that Musa and Tecna tend to be the hardest to find since they seem to be made in fewer numbers.

The wrists, arms, and knees are articular so she can be posed in many ways. Her wings can be removed for storage or left on they are made so that they also flutter naturally, which is a big plus. That is in comparison to the European version, which just attaches with velcro and are thin and cheap.

Musa comes with her Winx transformation outfit, tall socks, and shoes. Her hair has several an intricate top braid and then long and straight in the back.

In all, VERY impressed with this doll well worth the money!

Parents beware, if you buy this kit, you will be assembling it almost entirely yourself! My daughter received this for Christmas. All the pieces were there and the instructions, were clear enough-lots of picture examples and few words. There are 6 pieces to assemble each head, six pieces to assemble the torso, plus the 3 piece hand assembly, 3 piece leg assembly and the hair with the keychain attachment.

Our first problem came with the first head assembly. The way it works is to place a piece of cloth over the mold, place the first head assembly piece into the top part of the press and then mash top part into the bottom part which is supposed to cause the head piece to press into the cloth and fit the cloth tightly around it. The problem is you have to place the cloth EXACTLY centered in the EXACT right way, or there are gaps in the material which will cause problems. Being that you have to repeat a nearly identical process 4 times to complete EACH character, you can see what a pain in the *** this could be.

The second problem occured simultaneously with the first, in that sometimes when you pressed the mash button, the top piece wouldn't release. So you had to press over and over and over. In the creation of each monster, a top piece must be released 8 different times....by the time I did the last monster, I was pressing the pieces into the mold with my hand, it was easier and more precise.

To make the hands and feet, you have to thread a cord through tiny holes and assemble knots to keep them from falling off (for the feet especially I recommend a double know as the holes are a little larger).

There are also several more steps, but you get the idea that this is a very detailed, precise, specific process that requires infinite patience.

All that being said, the resulting keychains, even if they don't turn out perfectly, are pretty cute and my daughter feels super cool with them clipped to the zipper pulls of backpack.

The Monster High monster making kit was a fun challenge for my 9 yo and her dad. The instructions are pretty straightforward. There were issues, such as a piece disappearing or something would have to be dismantled and reset, they were minute and quickly fixed. The one problem I find with this whole kit is that there seem to be no refills. Once the three dolls are assembled, you still have a pretty decent tool set that has potential to create more monsters, if only Mattel had the foresight to create refill packs.

I am super crafty as is my 11 year old daughter that this was purchased for. It took us an hour to put together one doll (with gripes and groans the whole time). The pieces are very hard to put together, there was no way she would be able to do this alone-let alone a 7 year old as the box states this can be for. The tools are useless--we had better luck pushing it together with our fingers and using a hot glue gun to secure the pieces together. The fabric is not cut big enought for the heads/bodies and the stickers for the faces do not stick well to the felt faces.

All in all--I should have truly 'listened' to previous reviewers that cautioned buyers about this product--even thought I am an avid crafter and put together tons of things with my children this was a hard task. We put together the dolls--hung them for 'pretty' as my daughter said and tossed the tools.

Monster High has fabulous dolls and accessories---this unfortunately is not one of them.

As others have noted, it does not go together well at all. Pieces have to be perfectly put together but the machine does not make it easy to do that. Even for my 9 year old, it was impossible to get together well and we ended up arguing and having a miserable time.

I got this for my granddaughters birthday. She wanted an American Doll wardrobe, but for the outrageous price I could not afford it. She picked this one out herself and was very pleased with it when we got it built. It was not hard to put together and seems to be well constructed for the price. I got her some extra hangers. They were a little bigger than the few that came with it, but they will work. I think it will last a long time as she is not rough with her toys. It arrived in good shape and was as discribed.

Baby Stella is a sweet, soft doll. My two-year-old daughter received her for Christmas 2008 and loves her. The magnetized mouth for pacifier and bottle is especially fun. Baby Stella is very snuggly, good for hugging.

My daughter got this doll for Christmas two years ago. I had been looking for a nice soft doll that didn't make noises or require batteries since my daughter was just a baby (she got this one at 3years). When I found this one online, it was exactly what I had been looking for! It took a little work to find one (sold out most places, at the time), but it has been a wonderful addition to my daughter's collection, and one of her favorites. The outfits and accessories are cute additions, and sometimes find their way onto stuffed animals and other dolls. She is very washable, and easy to care for. And, in my opinion, it would be a great doll for a little boy too. As I speak, my youngest son (2 years) is sitting on the couch with her, cuddling and rocking her and playing lightning mcqueen with her. My daughter's auntie bought this blonde baby Stella as a gift for her second birthday. I had seen it and thought it would be perfect, so I recommended it to my sister. I love that I can get the accessories for it for Christmas and birthdays to come. I have two daughters, one of whom is blonde and one is brunette. I am on amazon buying the dark haired Stella for my older daughter since they fight over blondie all the time. The one complaint that I have is that my two year old was able to pull the hair out of the pig tails the first day she got it. It is not designed to have the hair worn down really (looks a little like Medusa--haha) so I tied it back up with a couple of my daughters tiny hair ties. It really is adorable--I love the belly button and the tiny little tush!

I got this way cheaper at a store for about six dollars, the also have this online for cheap at about twenty dollars. Also in the manual it says its only good with a number of charges meaning it wont work after numerous charging time since it has a built in battery, so in my opinion this is a nice fun mp3 but this is ridiculously high priced for such an item like this, I cannot believe they selling this for ninety nine dollars. I advise that you search online before purchasing and paying too much which I think is a rip off.
