I saved up my money to buy this and let me say it was worth it! First off Spectra is beautiful sporting a purple and gold macaranian themed outfit with light purple makeup on. The accessories that come with this playset are 2 pink fake speakers, 2 gold hook decorations, 2 drippy blue monster drinks, a gold chair, and a computer. It also comes with this cool DJ booth with two turn tables and a bunch of black buttons and there are prongs in the back of the booth to put Spectra in but some people may have trouble putting her in and getting her to stay in. There is also skeleton hands holding the computer up, lots of seating, cool backgrounds, (some of monster dancing and Cleo's oasis) but what made me want to get this was the fact is it can plug in to your mp3 player. (or iPhone or ipad, etc.) When I pluged it in the sound was pretty good and can go pretty loud but I heard some people had some problems but I was satisfied. Great for kids but picky collectors might not be satisfied.

The Party room was a success and my 8 year old granddaughter loved it. I would suggest that the plug for the ipod was longer because it was a little difficult plugging anything in to it.

I got these beds for my 5 yr old granddaughter, to use with her American Girl doll. It was hard to find a set that came with mattresses, pillows & bedspreads, this one had them all. The bunk beds arrived on time in excellent conditions. They are very pretty and my granddaughter loves them. The cost was higher than other sets, but if you had to also buy pillows, mattresses, etc.this set ended up being less expensive. Great deal, I would buy from this vendor again.

The quality of the product was a little disappointing. I'm disappointed because the price I paid does not reflect the quality. There was pink paint smudged on a white area and another area had a "run" in the white paint. One of the headboards came apart during assembly and I had to glue it back together. Also, I paid for expedited shipping to be sure it would arrive in time for my daughter's birthday, so I really feel that I overpaid. Otherwise, it is very cute and fits my girls' American Girl Dolls perfectly.

Received this toy as a Christmas present for my one year old daughter. She thinks its great. Other reviews are correct in that the pacifier is hard to put in, but not impossible. However... this doll can be a bit terrifying to adults. Occasionally while lying in the hall... it turns itself on. A bit disconcerting when it decides to start playing a lullaby at 11:30 pm with all the lights in the house off. Especially when it's mouth starts glowing without the pacifier in... kind of expect my child to turn around and say "theyrrrrrre heeeeerrreeee..." Cute toy, but we're pretty sure the movie "Child's Play" was based on this doll. And I'm fairly confident that all those 5 star reviews were written by the dolls themselves, after the families have gone to sleep.

I'm quite disappointed in this. The pacifier is very hard to put and keep in the doll's mouth. There is no music and nothing lights up. I also think the face and hands should be made of something softer. I had asked to return it for a refund, but it will cost as much as the doll to return it; so I've decided to keep it but I won't give it as a gift..just as a "look what Nana got you" thing.

Mostly love this product. The body and feet are plush which is great for bed time. I love the music and glowing pacifier. The only thing I am not so crazy about is that the pacifier is a little difficult to put in her mouth. My one year old cannot do it on her own so she will bring it to me to do. Otherwise, it is an adorable doll and my daughter loves it.

What can I say, it's a Barbie. My daughter loves it. There's pieces all over her bedroom, lots of fun for little girls. The packaging was so much better than previous years. There was only a few little elastics to snip, rather than needing the jaws of life to shred through all the tamper proof nonsense.

This is a beautiful doll and I bought this doll and another type of generation doll for my other daughter. However, both daughters were highly disappointed after their first attempt to play with the dolls because the hair messed up almost immediately. This doll in particular knotted and matted when my daughter tried to comb the hair. The long pretty hair was one of the main reasons for purchasing this doll. I was ready to invest in many of the other accessories for both my daughters, looking at this doll line as a cheaper alternative to the American dolls. But now, I am considering the American dolls. If the manufacturer could fix the quality problem on these dolls this could have potential of being a big hit with young girls in my opinion. Unfortunately I plan to return this to Target.

There is no comparison between this and an AG doll. I bought this doll for my 5 year old, hoping it would be an easy way to get out of the expense of buying an AG doll. Well, within 2 days the hair was a tangled mess. I've tried everything to fix itdetangler, conditioner, fabric softener, a hairdryer. It is beyond hope now. My daughter still likes the doll, but now that she has a "real" AG doll, I see the quality of the hair is in a whole different ballpark. I like the Target clothes and accessories for the dolls, but wouldn't waste my money on another Our Generation doll.

Purchased this tea cart for my daughter and her american girl. This item is extremely bad quality. It looks very cute in the picture, but it comes fully unasambled. And I mean FULLY, not just "some assembly requiered" . The wood is terrible quality. Overall, it looks like something you would find in a market of some third world country for $5. Stick to original American Girl products.

We gave this to my daughter for Christmas and it was in a heap of pieces less than 2 days later. Saddest part is, she didn't even move the thing! We had assembled it and had it ready and under the tree for her. She arranged a cute little tea set on it and played around it with her dolls but never moved it since the wheels are just round pieces of wood and it doesn't move easily anyway. 2 mornings later, I came into the living to find it in a pile of pieces on the floor. When we assembled it, I didn't expect it to last very long but being that she is a gentle girl I hoped it would last longer than 2 days. The other reviewer is right. It may only have 4 screws but you do have to build it yourself. The shelves just sit on notch like spots on the posts. They could easily get knocked down. You even have to assemble the wooden pegs that slide out to hold the leaves on the top level of the cart. I don't suggest that you use a tea set of any value since it falls apart so easily, without cause. We now have a tea set with some broken pieces. Any request for a return gets met with a rude argument and the demand to return it at your expense. I didn't think it was worth the hassle of paying shipping and taking it to my post office, several miles away to return the heap of junk so I tossed it in the trash, along with the table that I purchased from the queen's treasures too. Guess I was so angry at how I was treated that I didn't want to be bothered with the junk any longer. Stay away from this one! It will only cause regret and anger at the injustice of the rip off. The company ought to be ashamed of themselves for producing such garbage! Definitely not the kind of quality that I am used to purchasing for my daughter. So sad because this could be a cute little item for dolls, especially the Victorian or Colonial period dolls.

I ordered directly from Ashton Drake and posted photos here of the doll I received. It has none of the fine hand-painted detail shown in the website close-up photo of the face. The eyes are misaligned, with one looking down and inward more than the other. In addition, the hair is plastered to the scalp by glue in several bands about 3/4" wide, one of which glued the hair to the ear, and a large (1-1/2") glue patch at the crown.

The weighted body, texture of the limbs, and dress are lovely. The eyes are a beautiful violet, but I'm not sure I can get used to them being crooked. All things considered, I expected more quality and artistry in the assembly of the doll at this price point.

Her face is not nearly as pretty as in the picture. He hair is thin and, even though a lot of newborn babies don't have thick hair, it just doesn't look real at all.

My daughter was 18 months when I purchased this for her. She is a huge fan of the cartoon and even sings and dances along. I figured what better way to make her happy than get the doll? It is her favorite of all the dolls she owns, and will look for it at bedtime. It seems durable enough, with no removable pieces ( I cut off any tags though) and cleans up rather well. If it were damaged or lost, I would definitely replace it, as she loves it so much. It's not an educational toy, but for a 'pal' and 'playmate' it can't be beat.

When this dress first arrived, I hated it. As with any dress that fits both bears and dolls, it looked loose and frumpy on the AG dolls. Later I realized that my 5 year old could dress her doll without help and I was more forgiving of its flaws. I would not recommend this dress to an adult collector (like me) or an older child (like my older daughter), but it is good for a little sister/younger child who insists on being part of the group. The outfit is easy for little hands and cheap enough that I don't worry about it being abused by a younger child.

I was actually looking for a costume that resembled my daughter's from baton. This looked liek a close match but even if it had not matched, it was so beautiful on the doll. It worked perfectly and my daughter loved the fact she could make her a baton twirler or an ice dancer. This was great quality for a doll dress and much lower priced than the name brands. I am always so impressed with kathe kruse products. They are so well made and feel like they will last forever. The fabrics on their towel dolls are great. We have the donkey and the hedgehog. The donkey is the hands down favorite though. The ears are prefect for teethingour son especially loves it when I get them damp and put it in the freezer. He loves to cuddle up with the donkey and always squeals when delight when he sees it. The knotted corners are perfect and the doll has a lot of different textures for him to explore.
