These were the outfits that we ordered to go with our daughter's first Barbie and they were a good choice. When she finally showed an interest in Barbie we choose clothes that fit her own lifestyle as well (she is a gymnast/soccer player/adrenaline junkie 7yo) and they were a hit! Unlike the dolls who have fallen in quality, these clothes were just as durable as my own Barbie fashions from the 70's and 80's. Any Barbie girl would love these.

Cheap My Little Pony Equestria Girls - Pinkie Pie Doll
Out of all the dolls in the non-deluxe set Pinkie Pie is most true to character. Her face is adorable and very true to our happy-go-lucky "Pinkie." The hair is cute and super curly/fluffy. The sparseness of the plugs is a lot less noticeable than it is in the other non-deluxe dolls. It's a shame Hasbro couldn't spend half as much time on their Equestria dolls' quality as they did their design. The doll is even worth less than the retail price (probably ten clams or less)--certainly not the marked up prices going around.
These dolls are cute, but really look nothing like the characters from the "Equestria Girls" movie. They look more like a product of weird MLP Furry fanfic. Obviously, they were made before the movie came out and the creators of the movie must have decided they were too weird to appear to fit into a normal human high school. :) Some kids won't care about this, but I'm sure a number will notice it as soon as they see them and find that disappointing.
Their quality is a mixed bag. The faces are painted beautifully with glossy paint and glitter. I'm not a big fan of heavy makeup on dolls, but Hasbro made their faces a mixture of whimsical, but tasteful and cute. The styles of clothing are sweet, too. Very neat colors and designs. The dresses/skirts tend to be a bit short, but they are girly enough (in a childlike sense) that it is cute versus "sexy."
However, the positive trails stop there. The actual quality of the clothing is a nightmare! It is cheap and poorly-made. A lot of the dolls' clothes aren't hemmed and are ragged on the bottom. The seams on some of the clothes are starting to fall apart in the box. It's a shame Hasbro had to be so cheap as they already got around the clothing costs by making a lot of the dolls' tops painted on the body.
This wouldn't be a biggie as fashion doll clothes can be exchanged with other brands or hand-made by a talented child/parent/collector. However, any creativity on making future clothes is limited by the shoes. They are part of the feet. As a parent and toy collector, this trend really bothers me to begin with. It is really gross and creepy taking off the shoes on the footless dolls. It also sends the really negative messege to girls that shoes are more important than feet. Yuck! As a parent, I find this very impractical and wasteful as shoe/feet can be easily lost and you end up with a doll who forever looks she had an unfortunate accident with a machete--a lovely marketing technique to force you to buy future (cheaply-made) outfits to obtain more "feet." If you are a parent worried about this, it may be a good time to break out the super-glue. Come on, Hasbro--these girls were PONIES. They need their feet. At least make them into hooves.
Also, the bodies on the Equestria Girls in the smaller packages are very cheap. The legs are stiff plastic. Only the ones in the deluxe fashion sets bends at the knee (the more expensively-priced Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy). I never understood how toy companies could make dolls like this as it seems to be a safety hazard, but it's also low-quality and not as fun to play with. A few Barbies have legs like that, but they are either dolls for tub play (so they don't mildew) or ones that are marked well into the $5-7 range--which tells me Hasbro is trying to cut corners every way possible to make a buck and the Equestria Girls are ridiculously over-priced.
Finally we get to the hair. The plugs in the front are tight and close together, but the plugs past that are *very* sparse. Pinkie Pie looks better than the other dolls at least. However her hair is typical pony hair which is fine for a small pony who has mane that is a couple plugs wide, but a future nightmare to brush out on a fashion doll with a head full of hair. Not at all the quality you'd see in many other dolls (Barbie, Disney Store, Monster High, some Bratz, etc...).
All-in-all, I don't think I'd purchase this doll if I saw it in the store--not for these prices (or even the retail ones)--or I'd only buy my kid's favorite character (Rainbow Dash). I discourage fellow parents and toy collectors from spending any less than retail on it (if even that). This doll just came out so it "appears" scarce, but I'm sure will most likely be available and on sale at most stores than carry ponies. There are many other dolls that are higher-quality in the same retail price range or less.
On to the doll itself:
1) The outfit is totally different from the one in the film. The oddest bit is, she's wearing her FILM outfit in the box art. Still, it's a pretty outfit, and not TOO out of character.
2) Speaking of the box art, it's NOT the film's art style. Honestly, I dislike it. She looks way too glamorous.
3) The outfit is pretty cheap. The top isn't even fabric, but part of the doll's mold. The skirt is 2 layers: a top layer of glittery netting, and a bottom layer of cheap blue fabric with a shiny bubble pattern. The fabric is slightly ragged where it was cut.
4) There are no movable joints at the elbows, wrists, and knees, which I find REALLY annoying, honestly. She also has no feet; the boots ARE the feet. You can take them off, but there are are only pegs underneath.
5) The hair is BEAUTIFUL style-wise, but it becomes frizzy very quickly if you touch it too much. Also, the longer "tail" in the back is just thin and straight, like a rat tail hairstyle. Th "tail" also has a single odd-looking kink in it.
6) The ears are ADORABLE, as is the face, and I even like the hands (they're very cute and more childish than most doll hands).I'm not a huge fan of the glittering eye-shadow, but it's fine. Same with the Cutie Mark on the cheek. The skin and hair colours are spot-on.
7) She comes with a hairband accessory, which I've chosen not to use, a hairbrush, and some small stickers.
To sum up: this doll is adorable, and despite being not at all film-accurate, is utterly gorgeous to look at. However, she is not actually very fun to play with, mostly due to the limited poseability, as well as the fact that the hair is so easily messed up. That being said, I was feeling down, due to a break-up, and yet every time I look at this doll, I can't help but smile. Pinkie would be pleased.

Pinkamena Diane Pie has sparkly eyeshadow and a "cutie mark" on her cheek, reflective of her virtue. Pinkie Pie's cutie mark consists of three balloons, and reflects her virtue of laughter. Her happy, chaotic spirit is reflected in her curly hair. There's not much in the way of accessories -a plastic headband to tame all those curls, and a little pink hairbrush. There is only one item of clothing -the skirt -so I don't think that these dolls will be dressed and undressed much -that real appeal is the hair. The boots are interchangeable, so we have switched the boots around on several of the dolls. I find the boots a little disturbing -well actually the legs, because the doll legs end at the ankle, and the boots pop on to the ankle. Without the boots, the dolls are footless. Kind of creepy, but I guess it's better than having those teeny weeny little Barbie high heels all over the place. Pinkie Pie has a small hole in her upper back -it's pretty well hidden under all of that hair -but some of the other dolls come with butterfly (or angel??) wings that pop into the hole, so Pinkie Pie can borrow those wings if she's so inclined, since she too has a hole for attaching the wings. Each Equestria Girl doll also comes with a sheet of stickers and a little pamphlet -but my daughter hasn't even looked at those, and I expect they'll end up in the trash soon. The long piece of hair is supposed to be the horse-tail, but it is odd that it has a different texture than the rest of Pinkie Pie's hair. As a mom, I thought that the hair could have been better done -the plugs are sparse and separated, so if you don't pull Pinkie Pie's hair back just right, she looks like she just visited Hair Plugs for Men -not pretty.
Pinkie Pie is a cute doll with a big pouf of brushable hair. Is she super high quality? Probably not. Will she be a cherished heirloom to pass down over the years? Who knows. But is she a fun plaything for an Equestria Girls fan? You bet.
Beyond that... this basic doll is very basic indeed. The arms and legs don't bend. The head rotates right and left, but not up and down. The hips and shoulders are basically ball in joint...so they have a lot of mobility. The doll doesn't have feet...rather the shoes snap on (HUGE disappointment!!). Her top is painted on... but at least it is a tube top type thing and real clothes could cover it easily. The skirt has a ribbon g-string type thing to keep it from riding up and is made from cheap material that won't fray...so they didn't hem it. The hair (for Pinkie Pie) is decently rooted. But I have a huge complaint about the "tail" portion of the hair...it isn't permed at all. You can see in the picture that it is stick straight. The doll seems like it is sturdy. As for the rest, what you see is what you get. Ours has very good face paint.
Bottom line...this is a play scale doll. Not collector quality and not a high enough quality for a discriminating 9 year old. This is in line with the bottom rung of Barbie dolls...which I think sell for about five dollars. At twelve dollars, this is overpriced. I agree with other reviewers... there is no reason whatsoever to buy at an inflated price. I can only hope that this is phase one of a money grab and that better dolls will come out in the future that will inspire us all to buy them all over again. And at the very least that they will come out with "deluxe" versions of all of the characters. If we weren't such huge fans of the movie...we wouldn't be as disappointed with the doll.

I just got Pinkie from my local Walgreens! I wasn't expecting to see any Equestria Girls dolls there, so she was an amazing find! I saw Twilight and Rarity as well, all of them $13.99 each. Pinkie is above and beyond my favorite MLP character, so I HAD to get her.On to the doll itself:

Best Deals for My Little Pony Equestria Girls - Pinkie Pie Doll
This is a highly anticipated toy! We went in search of this and the other dolls, and after 6 stores we found our beloved favorite, the upbeat and life of the party...PINKIE PIE! Her details are stunning, and unlike Rarity, her hair is very soft, she does have a painted on shirt, but the skirt is cloth. She comes with boots, brush,a hairband, collector card and stickers. She is very much as fun spirited as her pony figurine. They did an excellent job of catching her fun loving party spirit! Keep them coming Hasbro!!!!!!!!!Honest reviews on My Little Pony Equestria Girls - Pinkie Pie Doll
Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program For the past few months, every trip we made to the big-box store involved a determined march through the toy section, looking to see if the Equestria Girls dolls were yet available. My 9 year old, who watched My Little Pony endlessly, and has already watched Equestria Girls more times that I want to count, was thrilled when the dolls were finally available! Her favorite doll, by far, is the Deluxe version of Rainbow Dash My Little Pony Equestria Girls Rainbow Dash Hairstyling Doll -because of all that multi-colored hair. I think Pinkie Pie comes in a close second place -again, because of all that hair. The other Equestria Girl dolls have smooth, straight hair, so Pinkie Pie's masses of pink curls are a little different and fun to play with. And her pink skin tone is a little less eerie than the purple and blue of some of the other dolls.Pinkamena Diane Pie has sparkly eyeshadow and a "cutie mark" on her cheek, reflective of her virtue. My daughter is such a big MLP fan and was super excited about the Equestria Girls movie. And the movie didn't disappoint. It was a lot of fun to see the ponies as humans! My daughter has never liked dolls, and I do, so I was really hoping that this brand could be the one to bring her into the realm of dolls. But, I'm afraid that it won't. The biggest problem for my daughter and I is the complete departure of the dolls from the girls in the movie. I guess these dolls are from the 90 seconds when the girls transform into pony girls... but they were only like that for a very short amount of time. My daughter really wishes that the dolls were an exact representation of the girls in the movie. So...no ears, no cutie mark on the face, and a different face paint. And she would really love if their clothes were the same as from the movie. And I agree with all of that...as a collector, that would be much much more valuable to me. So... that Hasbro has made these decisions is a disappointment to both of us.Beyond that... this basic doll is very basic indeed. The arms and legs don't bend. The head rotates right and left, but not up and down. The hips and shoulders are basically ball in joint...so they have a lot of mobility. The way the bed read was for a toddler bed, nothing about a baby doll bed. I thought I was getting a real deal for my daughter. When the package arrived I was in total shock. I looked for a sales receipt in the package to return the doll bed and the company didn't send a receipt. I got this for my daughter's American Girl Bitty Baby. This item is intended for the regular AG doll, so I knew there was a chance it might not fit the BItty, but it did, though just barely. Still, she loved it. It's easy to get on and off and perfectly matches the Little Adventures Snow White dress that she has for herself.I bought this to go with my daughter's dress up clothes...so her and her doll could match. MGA Mini Lalaloopsy RC Car 49 Mhz with Exclusive Character Review
My 4 year old daughter is a Lalaloopsy fanatic so when I found this I just had to buy it for her for Christmas. When she opened it she was ecstatic! We took it out of the packaging and put batteries into it and she immediately started to drive it around the living room. She loves that the car holds 2 mini dolls with seatbelts at a time. Her favorite thing to do is drive it around in circles really fast before driving it off into another room. The car goes really well and fast on the hard wood floor and the linoleum floor. I would recommend this remote controlled car to any Lalaloopsy fan because it adds so much more fun to the dolls!

My daughter has so much fun controlling the car. I wish it went different directions when you reversed it or drove slightly better on carpet. But, overall, the car is a lot of fun with not much educational value, but not every toy needs educational value, it just needs to be fun... and it is.Best Deals for MGA Mini Lalaloopsy RC Car 49 Mhz with Exclusive Character
My 4 year old loves anything Lalaloopsy-related and she loves, loves, loves this car! It doesn't come with batteries, and it takes both AA and AAA for the car and remote. The car comes in either pink or a reddish-orange shade, and it comes with a mini Lalaloopsy doll. This car is played with every day on various surfaces and it's pretty durable my daughter plays with it on rugs, the kitchen floor, various tiled floors and even in the back yard. The car holds 2 mini Lalaloopsy dolls. It's a must-have for Lalaloopsy lovers! However, I have to say that I didn't purchase this car on Amazon.com. I found it for a cheaper price at Target. Still, this is a great toy to have!Honest reviews on MGA Mini Lalaloopsy RC Car 49 Mhz with Exclusive Character

Both the car, and the loopsy are adorable, the loopsy fits in the car great with a little wiggle room to put the seat belt on her. The car runs awesome, and you can still run it on carpet, as long as its a short berber like carpet. The control to the car is easy to use, especially when you figure out that you do not use both buttons at once (>'o'Wednesday, September 24, 2014
Best Monster High Roller Maze Lagoona Blue Doll Deals
These Roller Maze dolls are among the cutest in the Monster High collection. They all come with green streaks in their hear that adds quite a bit of color to their faces (with matching make up) and pink accents in the dresses.
Lagoona has her usual long blonde hair but with green streaks throughout the front. Her bangs are twisted up into two cute knots at the top of her head (they fit neatly under the helmet).
She has a two pieces dress with a pattern of piranhas and other dangerous fish on it. And then a short black dress with a pink stripe at the bottom. Her skates have fins on the back and cute little translucent wheels that actually spin. She also has Monster High logo shin guards. Her helmet is scaled and has ruffly fins at the top.
A neat feature of Lagoona is that she has a 'hang 10' hand sign very ocean oriented.
In all a very cute and unique Lagoona the green really makes it almost a shame to put her helmet on!
Note that as another reviewer noticed, the fin on the left legs is loose and falls off immediately.

I would definately reccomend this doll to anyone that is into Monster High. Her left fin on her leg came a little loose but if you're careful it won't come off, and she looks fine without it anyways. I would say that she is one of the prettiest monster high dolls. Her green hair makes it look as though chlorine actually made it look that way. Her helmet doesn't fit very well, but she looks better, in my opinion, without the helmet on at all. Her dress is beautiful. Her rollerskates are really cool looking, and they have a fish scale design. I found her at the price of about thirteen dollars at a grocery store, so look there before buying at a more expensive price. I love this Monster High doll.Best Deals for Monster High Roller Maze Lagoona Blue Doll
The Roller Maze Monster High girls are now on sale at our local grocery store for $10 a piece so every time we go to the store I pick one up for my daughter. This doll is my daughter's second favorite one in the Roller Maze series. The wheels on the skates are really tiny and more for show than rolling the doll around but my daughter doesn't seem to care and skates Lagoona around everywhere. She love, love, loves Lagoona's helmet because it looks just like her boyfriend Gill's head. The helmet does muss up the pretty hairstyle she has so if you are a fan of how cute it looks don't stick the helmet on unless you're prepared to spend a bit of time fluffing it back into place.Honest reviews on Monster High Roller Maze Lagoona Blue Doll
Bought for my Monster High loving Daughter... It's a great toy...of course its not educational sorry its a doll...and the only problem, as with all Monster High Dolls, is the hands come out and the legs are easy to break off. They just have to be careful when moving the legs...not like a Barbie...not flexible. If you have small children I would be careful because all their hands come out which is normal... Can be a choking hazard for little ones. But It's age appropriate with the older school age kids...they love these Monster High DollsFind helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Monster High Roller Maze Lagoona Blue Doll

Best Barbie Purple Color Change Mermaid Doll Deals
The purple Mermaid Barbie is quite lovely she has a lot of details in her tail and just enough glitter everywhere to look 'magical'. Her hair changes from purple to pink in HOT water. Then back to purple with cold water. In comparison to the other two Barbies mermaids, she has the lightest skin color (the orange mermaid is the most tan).
One of the features I like with this particular series of dolls is that she has a rubber molded area at the top of the fin (at the waist). So when you bend her to sit, you don't see any seams or underwear as with the other Barbies. It's a smart design and really helps keep the illusion. However, the rest of the tail is hard plastic. I must preferred the soft bendable plastic of previous, more expensive Barbie Mermaids.
She is one in a series of 3 that all have the same exact details, face, etc. Only the hair color and the color on the tails/bikini top changes.

We gave this as a gift to a 5 year old girl at her mermaid-themed birthday party. She was thrilled!Best Deals for Barbie Purple Color Change Mermaid Doll
My daughter likes it.Just wish the dolls hair would change color in warm water not cold.I would think most kinds would play with it in the bath, mine do.Honest reviews on Barbie Purple Color Change Mermaid Doll
Our Barbies have been treated to the pool, bath, and shower. They have held up well without mildew or mold problems. The color change is just slight but doesn't detract from the toy. The end of the mermaid's tail snaps on so I was worried it would come off easily but this hasn't been a problem.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Barbie Purple Color Change Mermaid Doll

Cheap Disney Gem Princess: Sleeping Beauty
This is a well-made doll that my daughter really enjoys playing with. The downside is that the shoes don't stay on. That frustrates my daughter. As a parent what I really don't like is that the glitter from this dress (and this goes for all of the princesses in the glittery series) falls off very easily. The first time my daughter handled the doll her hands had glitter all over them (not just a few specks.) Theres glitter on the car seat... Glitter on my pants... But, if you can stand that, its a great toy for little girls who adore princesses.I bought this as a gift for my granddaughter. She loves it ! What else do I need to say.

We're making it a "Made in the USA" Christmas and this stroller was an easy choice. My daughter is 16-months and loves pushing this thing around (she's young enough to let her play with it a bit before wrapping it for Christmas). I put it together in about 8 minutes, and every part fit perfectly. Wheels roll easily. Great, sturdy gift. Super happy.

Great toy for my three year old daughter. She loves playing make believe "mommy" with her dolls. She uses it as a stroller and as a grocery cart.Best Deals for Step2 Little Helper?s Doll Stroller
I bought this for my daughter's first birthday. She was already walking, but a bit wobbly, so I thought this toy would help her, plus she loves baby dolls, so this made the perfect gift. As soon as it was out of the box and put together she wanted to play with it. She is 18 months old now and I am not exaggerating when I say she plays with it every day. The nice thing about this toy is can be used for more than a baby stroller, it can also be used as a toy shopping cart. One thing my daughter loves to do is walk through the house at bedtime when it is time to pick up her toys, and use it to pick up her toys and cart them back to her bedroom. This toy is also very durable. Ours has been rammed into walls and even rolled down a staircase and there's not a mark on it. Made in the USA is also a big plus. Definitely would buy it again.Honest reviews on Step2 Little Helper?s Doll Stroller
This is a perfect stroller for my 20 month granddaughter. She keeps two of her "babies" in this stroller and pushes in round and round the house. It is the perfect size and very sturdy. It was very easy to put together.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Step2 Little Helper?s Doll Stroller
This little doll stroller is almost perfect. I love the way that the dolls face the child. It is just the right height. My one year old granddaughter can easily handle this stroller. She does not need it as an assist to walking. However, I think that it might help support a child that was learning to walk. The one minor problem we have had was a wheel that came off while moving. The wheel cap was found, and the wheel was easily secured with the help of a hammer.
