Discount So Truly Real Lifelike Baby Doll: Chloe's Look Of Love by Ashton

Customer Ratings:

It toke about 2 weeks for this doll to come which was pretty long but it was around the holidays so that is probably why.

When I received her she was very very cute....she didn't have the same skin tone as in the picture but her skin was still very realistic. Her head moves and it looks soooo real! she is very cute!! her hair is long and can get messy at times but if you take care of it, then it is adorable. She looks alot like a real baby and even can fit a real pacifier in her mouth if you cut the tip!! I would buy her again! I was so excited to receive her and was def. not disappointed! Her hands feel so real and she has a rubbery texture, not like silicone but similar, which I thought was awesome! Her feet look so real, and she fits in 3 month clothing for babies! I recommend this doll!

The dog is beautiful but I am very disappointed in the doll's hair. It does not look, nor does it feel, soft. It is very course and pokes out in all directions. I would think a doll this expensive would have real hair that would be baby soft.

In my opinion, these are too big and heavy to be sold as babies, hair is a big disappointment for the cost.

Customer Ratings:

My daughter has been American Doll obsessed for over a year. I simply can't see myself spending $100 on any doll--especially one which I don't find that attractive. I was planning on buying the Target version which I liked OK, but didn't love--until I saw this on Amazon. It is just perfect. The outfit is cute. It's very easy for my four year old to take off/put on herself. There looked like there was an extra string hanging on the skirt...and I thought, what shoddy quality. However, when I got it out of the box, you took out two strings on the skirt to release some pleats. I can take the boots on/off, but my daughter csnnot. One thing to note is that she is not a full plastic/vinyl/??? doll. From about where her belly button would be to mid thigh is stuffed fabric...nice and soft. The doll is really pretty--and I was still able to match my daughter's coloring. She's in love with her doll--and I have $65 to spend on other things. Doll seems very well made and should last. Yeah!

About a week after getting her, we ordered this great brush on Amazon Doll Hairbrush in Pink, For 18" Dolls like American Girl Dolls, Doll Wig Brush. These dolls come with a wonderful, thick head of hair--and as this only adds less than five bucks to your total, I highly recommend it!

My 6 year old daughter wanted the American Girl doll for Christmas. I was not going to spend 90 dollars for it so I looked on Amazon and found these dolls. I thing they are cuter than AG dolls and much better price. I got this cowgirl doll because my daughter has pink boots with metal tips just like the doll. My only concern is the boots are very hard to pull on and off, and I am afraid it will break her leg. I read another review that said to put baby powder in the boot for better ease. Have not tried it yet but plan to. My daughter absolutely loves it and loves that it will stand by itself! I will definitely buy more of these.

This doll is gorgeous and my 4 year old daughter LOVES her (no way I could possibly return her at this point), but I was disappointed in the condition of her hair. Very rough texture and crimped due to manufacturer's packaging use of twisty-ties. I've tried a damp cloth and brushing it out but the poor thing still looks like she has unhealthy, damaged hair. We bought the "After School Cool" doll for our other daughter and her hair is just as bad. I looked at AG dolls for Christmas (ultimately deciding they were too expensive) and the hair is the big difference. AG dolls have wigs and their hair seems MUCH nicer than the rooted hair of the MA dolls. If it weren't for that, I'd say the MA dolls were much prettier!

We purchased this doll for my daughter. Her boots do come off with some doing. Second time and so on were so much easier. I think we finally figured out they don't just come straight off, but you do have to pull them off kind of down and then forward. Our five year old was able to copy this, eventually. We have purchased American Girl clothes, clothes and shoes for 18" American Girl like dolls from Olivia's Doll Closet and doll clothing through even a local Kmart designed for 18" dolls and all of these fit and are perfect for this doll. We are so thrilled and our daughter absolutely loves her.

I would give this three stars however my daughter loves this doll so she gets four. The reason I don't give it five is because the hair on this doll is atrocious!!!!

Fortunately, my four year daughter still thinks her doll's hair is the most beautiful in the world. I am forever putting it in a ponytail and trying to smooth it out. I've braided it even with no hope whatsoever. This doll is destined to have the white trash hair look forever. I'll post a picture sometime so everyone can have a good laugh. Truly, from the moment we took her out of the package, she immediately put on that rolled out of bed, wild sex on her back look. SIgh. You can't escape it.

Barbie Girls Glam Gowns Pack - Pink and Black Review

Customer Ratings:

My daughter loves the barbiegirls and has almost all of the fashions. When she saw this pack, she fell in love. Then, I looked at the price tag. 32.00 for this! I got one of the other packs on amazon for about ten dollars that she also loved. She keeps asking me for this but, I personally don't think that it's worth the price! I really wish they would lower the price because there's only two offers and I will not hear the end of it if this item is no longer sold on amazon. If you lower your prices, I wil buy this item.

Best Polly Pocket Hawaiian Holiday Polly Travel Backpack Deals

Customer Ratings:

This was much smaller than I expected, and the clothes are rubbery material that are very hard to get on the doll, even for grown-ups.

Polly Pockets can be hit or miss, but my only complaint about this set is that the doll's "real" hair sheds like mad. We use all these pieces with the dolls that came with Polly Pocket Rainy Day Doll Gift Set. I love this set because it comes it's more like American Girl and less like Bratz. With her backpack, surfboard, binoculars, cargo pocket shorts, and so on, she looks like she's ready for adventure. All of these things including the board fit in the trunk of Polly Pocket Goodie World Convertible (which comes with another throw-away doll -we learned to stay away from any polly's with "snap on -or 'pop and lock'clothes"). The only thing missing is a suitcase and passport (we raided a suitcase from the Calico Critters and made a passport). The Hawaiian Holiday Polly Travel Backpack, Polly Pocket Polly Explorin Australia Travel Backpack, Polly Pocket Rainy Day Doll, and the convertible are my favorite polly pieces by far. Highly recommend all four.

Barbie Blooming Thumbelina Doll Review

Customer Ratings:

My niece had received one for her birthday the week before and it had been the hit of the party, so I decided to buy one for my granddaughters 4th birthday. I don't know how durable it is but she loved "flying" Thumbelina all over the house. I would purchase this item again

I had a hard time getting the doll off the flower. She was stuck on there. When I finally pulled her off it sounded like I had broken it. The directions say "back of doll" and "release button" in 10 different languages and the pictures are just as helpful. I did finally figure it out and my daughter seems to really enjoy it. As long as she's happy that's ALL that matters!!

Customer Ratings:

You may look at this doll and think about not getting her.But you might want second thoughts because she rocks! Why? i think she's very pretty and ive seen her in the stores. Katia is yet another new Bratz character this year and she is a beauty! This 2005 Holiday doll is much better than last year's Holiday Cloe in my opinion.

Katia has long, dark hair and "real" eyelashes! She's wearing a gorgeous maroon dress and comes with a doll stand, ornament, purse, and brush. This doll reminds me a bit of actress Catharine Zeta-Jones.

I got this doll as a gift this past Christmas and have decided to keep her in the box as a collectible but I am sure she is just as fabulous out of the box! :)

Love the style of this doll but beware the hair. The lovely black color comes at the price of it rubbing off onto the skin of the doll, and any others around it, leaving a blackened coloring. Still looking for a way to restore the skin color of my first one of these, the replacement one I just got will have the hair washed (warm water, baby shampoo, cold water rinse, pat dry) to remove most of the excess dye.

Best of luck mums, kids go pretend play to your hearts content~

Cheap Doll Boots Pink Suede Ewe Boot, 18 Inch Doll Shoes Fits 18 Inch

Customer Ratings:

I ordered these for my daughters American Girl Doll and they fit her just right. They are adorable and are exactly the same color as portrayed in the picture online, a rosy pink. Very well made, they remind me of little UGG boots for dolls. They go on easily and we have had no issues with them falling off and getting lost.

A great little winter accessory for any American Girl Doll!

I bought this for my niece's Bday. It was not very well constucted. I had to hand sew the zipper back on because is ripped appart when I unzipped the boot. If I would have had time to return this, I would have. I was not pleased at all with the quality. I had planned to use Sophia for all my doll clothes needs. I have since reconsider that notion. too bad, they have cute merchandise but I don't trust the quality.

I just received 5 pairs of these adorable little boots! 4 pairs for my daughter's 4 AG dolls and 1 pair for a gift to her friend. I purchased the pink,purple,2 beige, and teal! They're all cute but the Teal is my favorite, because the color is beautiful, and they are the only pair that feel like real suede! I ordered the Teal & Pink boots match the new Historical AG dolls Cecile & Marie Grace dresses! Great Stocking stuffers for Christmas, or just because your AG doll needs new winter boots! I'm ordering 2 more pairs as gifts, because once my daughter's bf see all the other colors, she'll want them! They look like little doll Ugg boots, & the price is right for me! If you find something cheaper, please let me know !

Adorable little boots! They are easy for my 6 year old daughter to put on and take off of her American Girl doll. I think they are a great value, expecially considering they cost about a 1/4th of the price of similar ones at the AG store.

Cheap Barbie So in Style Doll and Car Gift Set

Customer Ratings:

The doll & car are a fun addition for the playroom. Purple car is cute, although the doors don't open. I didn't expect them to at such a low price but since some of the barbie cars do have working doors, I figured I'd make note of that. This doesn't hinder granddaughters playing with it of course. The african american doll is beautiful with stylish shoes & dress. She even has pretend keys for the car (none of the other barbie cars came with keys). The steering wheel has a big "S" on it because this is technically a "S.I.S." (So In Style) car. (Car fits regular sized-Barbie doll). I told my granddaughters the "S" stands for "Sophia" because I just liked the name. Recommended for ages 4 through 8.

I got this for a friend's daughter for her 4th birthday. She really wanted a purple Barbie car. This one came with a Barbie too so that was a bonus. I couldn't find an actual purple Barbie car--this is So-in-style and I don't know the difference. The barbie isn't a real barbie. It's lighter than a real Barbie but the little girl doesn't know the difference and this was her favorite toy she got for her birthday.

I gave this to my daughter for christmas. She loved it. The door don't open but she didn't care. I loved that it came with a barbie. Her legs don't bend and she's plastic but a lot of barbies are being made that way now. She's really pretty and holds up well still. The license plate and car lights are stickers so I already had one fall off. I'm gonna glue it back on. The rear view mirror and two side mirrors do come out some times. Some crazy clue should fix that . and the windshield can pop out sometimes if the car is dropped but It's no big deal to pup it back in. I really like the car.

This toy was purchased as a gift for my daughter on her 7th birthday. This kid does not really like dolls but I'm such a doll lover myself that I cannot bear the thought of having a daughter who does not like dolls so I thought I would give it another try! It was an instant hit with her and her 2 year old sister!! She said the doll by itself isn't much fun but the car makes a big difference. She even dug out some of her old Barbies that she never played with so that "the girls" could drive to the mall! My only complaint is that the seatbelts in the car come out of place very easily! But I can live with that. My daughter now loves Barbie.

Buy Aquapets Bertie

Customer Ratings:

My daughter also saw this toy on TV and wanted it. Although I normally don't buy what I consider "frivolous" toys, I decided that she could get one. I actually purchased 2, because they are supposed to "talk" to each other. I went online and printed out the instructions that were missing from the packaging (which actually helps alot). You have to take out the factory installed temporary batteries and replace them with AAAs.

We followed the instructions on how to make them dance to play a couple of games with them. And it was not entertaining nor exciting. The toys move ever so slightly in the water so you really have to pay attention to how they are moving (if you are playing one of the games). The communication with each other isn't that exciting either. So they move and dance and make noise like they do with everything else.

She played with these for a few minutes and they have sat on the shelf ever since. I think she likes they way they look more than playing the games with them.

*ADDITIONAL COMMENT: After having the aquapets since Easter, the water has started evaporating from the inside of the toy. The water level is now almost below the top-most part of the bird.

My daughter received this as a birthday present from a friend and it has been a toy she has been asking for. Does not live up to the hype. It doesn't work very well. Hard to work and just frustrated her more than anything. After a day, it is already thrown in her closet as a toy she doesn't like anymore.

I got two for my 2 daughters. They don't really do anything. You push a button and it makes some annoying music and beep sounds and the aquapet moves slightly from side to side. Oohhhh... how fuun. NOT! I don't know what they mean by saying that they interact with you because I've yet to see it, and we've had ours since last Christmas.

Honest reviews on Aquapets Bertie

My daughter saw the ocmmercial and wanted one so bad she was willing to pay for it from the piggy bank. It was cute while it lasted. I heard a thunk and she brought it to me. I thought it sounded a little funny and now had tiny bubbles. I replaced the temp battery with regular batteries and it still didn't want to work. she still likes it but overall be careful with it. One drop and it's history.

These Aquapets aren't everything they are made out to be. I don't quite understand the concept of them. They are kind of boring really. I changed the batteries in them like the instructions told me to do in order to make them do more. I'm not sure what more they do. I don't recommend them to anyone.

Review of MGA Mini Lalaloopsy Silly Pet Parade Train

Customer Ratings:

We bought this main engine and all the little caboose type silly pet attachments that go along with this mini lalaloopsy toy. It's so darned cute, but I would not recommend for kids less than 5 years old.

Pros's and Cons to it, here's my take:

The main train actually takes batteries (AAA's so make sure you have some around or buy them, we're a household of AA's so I had to make another trip!) it plays a really cute tune that you can't get out of your head, both my husband agree its one of the cutest noise singalong toys that we've probably had. My daughter played for a long time hooking up the little attachments and playing with the adorable pets that come with it, it takes some patience to hook up the little attachments, thats why I wouldn't suggest for less than 5 years old. it's really colorful but thats about as educational as it gets, not an educational toy at all. Once you have hooked up the extra silly pet attachments, (which are sold individually and tally up to a small fortune) the train actually powers the engine and all the cabooses follow it around the room, will only work on hardwood or vinyl floor, won't power very well on ceramic floor and forget it on carpet.

I actually had to return the first one as it didn't do anything, but second time's a charm...overall we like it, I would recommend it for 5 and up, probably a good toy to "build up" piece by piece due to cost.

My daughter (3.5yrs old) is crazy over the lalaloopsy mini dolls. So I ordered the train for her. She loves it. It plays the them song as it moves. Its fairly sturdy so not too concerned about it braking. However, it doesnt seem to stay attached to the other train. The trains seem to separate when there are slight bumps on the floor. Other then that, nice train.

Note: my daughter loves the train. Only recommendation i have is they make the connector a little better so the trains can remain attached.

the locomotive is fun and cute for my 3 year old. although, the cars just pop off the poorly designed latch, the song is cute and the locomotive does turn itself around when it hits the wall, so my cat loves it too. :) like all lalaloopsy stuff however, i feel their prices are high for the quality of manufacturing, the cars should have a way to securely lock on since they are obviously useless without the locomotive.
