My 7 year old likes this doll she comes with a dog she can hold (posable arms), a mannequin for showing off fashions, and a few 'shopping themed' accessories. The extra skirt matches the dog's cover and they look cute together as a set.

There are several little parts that will get lost easily so you will want to get this doll if your daughter specifically likes the idea of going shopping with a pet dog. Otherwise, the accessories get lost, the dog disappears, and then she's just another Barbie doll in the closet.

My daughter has been American Doll obsessed for over a year. I simply can't see myself spending $100 on any doll--especially one which I don't find that attractive. I was planning on buying the Target version which I liked OK, but didn't love--until I saw this on Amazon. It is just perfect. The outfit is cute. It's very easy for my four year old to take off/put on herself. There looked like there was an extra string hanging on the skirt...and I thought, what shoddy quality. However, when I got it out of the box, you took out two strings on the skirt to release some pleats. I can take the boots on/off, but my daughter csnnot. One thing to note is that she is not a full plastic/vinyl/??? doll. From about where her belly button would be to mid thigh is stuffed fabric...nice and soft. The doll is really pretty--and I was still able to match my daughter's coloring. She's in love with her doll--and I have $65 to spend on other things. Doll seems very well made and should last. Yeah!

About a week after getting her, we ordered this great brush on Amazon Doll Hairbrush in Pink, For 18" Dolls like American Girl Dolls, Doll Wig Brush. These dolls come with a wonderful, thick head of hair--and as this only adds less than five bucks to your total, I highly recommend it!

My 6 year old daughter wanted the American Girl doll for Christmas. I was not going to spend 90 dollars for it so I looked on Amazon and found these dolls. I thing they are cuter than AG dolls and much better price. I got this cowgirl doll because my daughter has pink boots with metal tips just like the doll. My only concern is the boots are very hard to pull on and off, and I am afraid it will break her leg. I read another review that said to put baby powder in the boot for better ease. Have not tried it yet but plan to. My daughter absolutely loves it and loves that it will stand by itself! I will definitely buy more of these.

This doll is gorgeous and my 4 year old daughter LOVES her (no way I could possibly return her at this point), but I was disappointed in the condition of her hair. Very rough texture and crimped due to manufacturer's packaging use of twisty-ties. I've tried a damp cloth and brushing it out but the poor thing still looks like she has unhealthy, damaged hair. We bought the "After School Cool" doll for our other daughter and her hair is just as bad. I looked at AG dolls for Christmas (ultimately deciding they were too expensive) and the hair is the big difference. AG dolls have wigs and their hair seems MUCH nicer than the rooted hair of the MA dolls. If it weren't for that, I'd say the MA dolls were much prettier!

We purchased this doll for my daughter. Her boots do come off with some doing. Second time and so on were so much easier. I think we finally figured out they don't just come straight off, but you do have to pull them off kind of down and then forward. Our five year old was able to copy this, eventually. We have purchased American Girl clothes, clothes and shoes for 18" American Girl like dolls from Olivia's Doll Closet and doll clothing through even a local Kmart designed for 18" dolls and all of these fit and are perfect for this doll. We are so thrilled and our daughter absolutely loves her.

I would give this three stars however my daughter loves this doll so she gets four. The reason I don't give it five is because the hair on this doll is atrocious!!!!

Fortunately, my four year daughter still thinks her doll's hair is the most beautiful in the world. I am forever putting it in a ponytail and trying to smooth it out. I've braided it even with no hope whatsoever. This doll is destined to have the white trash hair look forever. I'll post a picture sometime so everyone can have a good laugh. Truly, from the moment we took her out of the package, she immediately put on that rolled out of bed, wild sex on her back look. SIgh. You can't escape it.

This set is really adorable! It's a perfect match to the table. My daughter has had a lot of fun having tea parties with her American Girl dolls. I was concerned about it being porcelain and thus easy to break, but this set is well made the the porcelain is stronger than some others I've seen. Overall we're very happy with this set.

I recommend this product. My 3 year old wanted a "real" tea set, which to her means breakable, feels like real dishes, not the recycled plastic set she already had. It was affordable, so even if she breaks it it won't break the bank. She loves the basket in which it comes. She loves the spoons because they again feel like "real" spoons. It shipped quickly arrived within a few days. We gave this to her a couple of weeks ago, and she and I still love it. I bought it to use with her American Girl Bitty Twins, but so far her brother (5) and I have been her guests at the tea parties. Parents just be ready to drink a lot of "tea."

The tea set is nice, nothing terribly fancy, but works well with the table and chairs we purchased for an American Girl Doll. The basket is very nice for storage. The set is pretty, but the lids to the tea pot and creamer fall off quite easily and don't fit perfectly. The only reason I ranked the durabality rather low is because the set is made of chine. I think the tea set is a good value and I am pleased with this purchase.

My 3-year-old got these for Christmas 2009. She didn't care too much about them and I was worried about the small pieces getting lost so I felt like I had to monitor her play-time. So I put them away. She's now 4 and a lot more interested in playing dress-up and dolls and whatnot and she LOVES this playset. She switches out the clothes all the time (bonus: helps them learn about what matches and coordinates and what doesn't) and keeps track of all the pieces quite well. Oh! And the durability! It's amazing! She stretches, pokes, and pulls on the rubbery plastic clothes so much that I'm always waiting to hear her cries of something breaking. But nothing has yet! Very pleased with the product.

We bought this dollhouse as an alternative to the over priced Barbie Dreamhouse, and it was perfect! I was amazed to watch the price increase steadily as the days passed up to Christmas, so I was really glad I bought it early. It shipped in a plain brown box (great camouflage for Santa). It took my husband and I about an hour and a half to put together (he is very handy too). He commented many times that it was excellent quality for the price. "Are you sure you only paid ___ for this?" And went so far during construction to say, "This is the clearest set of directions I have ever seen to assemble anything in my life." We were awakened to shreiks of delight at 3a.m. by our 4 year old daughter, and she moved in her Barbies immediately. I highly reccomend this product to anyone. Awesome!

Gave this to my 7 year old daughter for her birthday this weekend and she hasn't stpped playing with it since. She even slept next to it on the floor the first night. Love the funky vibrant colors, disco ball, and the fantastic wooden furniture. It took a while to put together, and the directions were nothing more than diagrams. Overall it was well worth the 2 hours to put it together. My daughter loves, loves, loves it!!

My daughter is somewhat of a tomboy and would rather play with cars than dolls, but we thought she might like this doll. She not only likes the doll but plays with it quite a bit. Dell is well made and pretty. Her hair has a nice texture and can easily be styled in different ways. The accessories are cute and the guitar actually makes noise (to the parents' dismay). I have eight of the Hearts For Hearts Girls dolls (just waiting for Shola & Mosi to come out this summer!), so I obviously LOVE this line. I was going back and forth between this Dell & and the original Dell I like the guitar set, but the original Dell's outfit is just adorable. I ended up with this one and like it.

Dell has the cutest freckles and her hair is gorgeous. I can't wait to give this to my daughter!

I bought this item for my 4yo niece who LOVES Rapunzel. Honestly it's basically a Barbie doll with long hair and extensions you can clip in to me.... but to my niece, this is Rapunzel, THEE Rapunzel with cool extensions and a tiara and tiny shoes you can put on and off. The pro is probably that the hair doesn't become as easily tangled as other Rapunzel dolls, probably because it's shorter. The thing that bothers me is that 2 of the extensions are wired so they're very stiff but bendable. But what's important is that she loves it. Otherwise, I'd give it a poorer review.
