My daughter loves it. Seems well made. There is a switch on the side to change it from demo mode to full play mode. You have to switch it if you want to hear more than the 3 second demo (which seems to be the other reviewers issue). When you turn it to on it plays about 30 seconds. Definitely cool if you're a fan.

This is a pretty cute doll overall. I ordered two for each of my nieces. I ordered two different ones, but got two of the same doll....The doll has cute accesories and looks more like Justin then other dolls I've seen that are supposed to look like a star. (Wizards of Waverly, Hannah Montana) I know the singing is only a blurb normally, but the singing is very short on this doll. The "Baby" song literally only sings "Baby, Baby, Baby, Oh...." and that's it. I wish these dolls sang a little more of the song. Atleast the chorus. Overall still a cute doll and my two nieces will love it.

We have both the European (Simba Toys) and this US version (Jakks Pacific) and the difference in quality is remarkable. The US version is fully articulated, better and fluffier hair, and sturdy fluttering wings with intricate designs painted on them.

The wrists, arms, and knees are articular so she can be posed in many ways. Her wings can be removed for storage or left on they are made so that they also flutter naturally, which is a big plus. That is in comparison to the European version, which just attaches with velcro and are thin and cheap.

Stella comes with her Winx transformation outfit, tall socks, and shoes. Her hair is thick and wavy and well done.

In all, VERY impressed with this doll well worth the money!

Such a great set, especially if you grew up in the '80s. From the hightops to the punk studs to the Debbie Harry-inspired graphic on the magazine cover, all the details are spot-on. Very nicely molded shoes and the colors are authentic to the time period. This accessory set would go great with Debbie Harry or Joan Jett Barbie dolls or any of the Barbie Basics jeans line.

yes, the jacket is the real draw in this collection. And the shoes are outstanding. I do love that I get to have sneakers for Barbie. Sometimes Barbie JUST has to get casual. The bag is simple but nice enough. The very thin little belt is delicate so one has to be careful with it.

But it's SO darn cool to have a shiny, black "leather" like jacket so Barbie can do her Joan Jet impersonation. It's quite well made with cloth around the edges and a zipper that works.

Cheap Vanange Bella of New York Doll

I own two of these dolls, this one and the filipina doll Luz. These dolls are extremely high quality, easily on par with American Girl dolls and A Life of Faith Dolls. The dolls are not all plastic like ALoF dolls, and their entire torso is not stuffed, like AG dolls. It's a hybrid thing where they have a vinyl breast plate so the dolls look good in sleeveless dresses and tops, but the lower torso including the rear end is stuffed, providing a softy part for hugging. Arms, legs, head and upper torso are all vinyl. Lower torso is stuffed.

The hair is very high quality, easy to style and perfect for hair play. The faces are attractive and look more like real people than most of the competition. Eyes are very pretty and open and close.

The dolls are a little taller than AG and ALoF dolls standing right over 19". This doesn't affect clothes swapping though, they are all pretty much interchangable. Vanange dolls have feet that are slightly smaller than AG and ALoF dolls, but the size difference is miniscule so shoes are still interchangeable for the most part. I found that the arm and leg length of Vanange dolls are slightly longer than AG, closer to that of ALoF. Once again the difference is negligible.

The doll arrives nicely packaged with a book at the bottom of the box, under the dolls feet and a cute little self esteem poster. The books do provide information about different cultures, although they wording is a little stilted in a few places and the pictures are not all as high quality as I would have liked. Still, they are useful and they have a slightly "homemade" quality about them that makes them kid-friendly. The books are definitely educational and jam packed with international information. The stories are encouraging to girls too, inspiring high self esteem and self-confidence and setting good examples for girls.

The dress is made from a shiny taffeta with a cotton cluny lace trim at the hem and a matching ribbon at the waist. The bodice is overlayed with white lace. The dresses, panties and shoes are top quality and fit the dolls perfectly. They're pretty too, which isn't always true in doll clothes these days.

My favorite part about these dolls is that they make up a rainbow of ethnicities. There is a colorful variety of skin, eye and hair colors, much more interesting than the selection provided by better known brands. I personally like Vanange dolls better than Karito Kids because they are closer in size to AG & ALoF dolls. Plus I find their faces and bodies more attractive and less cartoon-like.

Lastly the dolls all appear to be Christians. The books mention God here and there in a matter-of-fact sort of way. They aren't preachy in the least, but make it clear that the girls do have a fulfilling spiritual life. For me personally, this is a huge plus, I much prefer to spend my money on Christian products than secular products.

I've seen these dolls elsewhere for over $100 so this price is excellent.

Review of Disney Princess 2-In-1 Ballgown Surprise Tiana Doll

I'm glad I got this when it was on a super sale just before Christmas because I don't think that this doll is as fun as princess dolls where you can completely remove the dress. The concept is neat, but limited.

This doll DEFINITELY has my favorite face mold for Tiana (which is the main reason I got it), and she's just beautiful in either dress setting. The dresses themselves are pretty full since one dress essentially folds inside the other.

The doll is designed such that her green bodice is really part of her chest mold so it cannot be removed, (which I actually don't mind; there is the same concept on the bath-time princess dolls, and the molded swimsuit generally never shows under other clothes) BUT the double-sided dress is permanently attached at her waist. This is GREAT if you tend to lose clothes, but I actually find this doll harder to change dresses for than regular dolls, AND this means you can't fit Tiana into her restaurant outfit, or any custom outfits that you choose to make for her. I don't really like the other face molds of the 'sparkling princess line' by Disney or Mattel, and I got this Tiana specifically because her expression was (in my opinion) less vapid than other similarly priced Tiana dolls (the limited edition dolls are gorgeous, but I would never get one for my daughter's play), and it's disappointing that they don't use this mold for other Tiana dolls whose clothes can be completely removed.

This doll is great! Her face is beautiful, and actually looks like Tiana from the film (others I have seen did not!) My only problem is that her dress is attached to her waist, which kinda stinks if you want to put her in different outfits. Also, her feet are not quite the same size as Barbie's, so swapping shoes doesn't work very well as they don't fit her. But for the price I paid, she's lovely.

Got this for my 5 yo niece for xmas. Gosh, this Ken doll was handsome, with longish hair like all the boys are wearing now. The "food" that comes in the cooler is just miniature cardboard 2-D crap. My sister didn't realize it was there upon opening the package, and much of it got thrown out, but I eventually found the hot dogs on the rug a few days later. The doll itself was as good as any Barbie doll.
