This Polly set is better than a lot of the other ones. Yes, the doors do pop open at times, but get real, it is a plastic toy. I got this for my 4 year old last year, and she still plays with it to this day. It still operates as it did when new, and that says a lot! If you have the Polly Roller coaster toy, you probably know what it means to have a headache. This one is worth it!

Review of Polly Pocket Fab-Tastic Mall
My seven year old loves this set. She received the plane last year, and was disappointed with it. We were hesitant to buy her another big polly playset, but this one turned out to be much better quality! The mall stores close easily, and the elevator is sturdy. If the mall is closed up, you can insert the plastic polly card that comes with the set, and the elevator rises up and pops open. There were some really fun accessories with this one. The only downfall with this set is that you have to remove everything from the shops in order to close it up. It's not a big deal really, but it can be frustrating for the kids. I am really pleased with this set and will look forward to buying her some of the newer sets. It's worth the money!

Reviews of Fisher-Price Digital Arts & Crafts Studio
My daughter loves to create art, including computer art, so we got her this for her 5th birthday. We are really impressed by how much is in this system! I especially like the themes within features such as the backgrounds and stampers, and you can upload your own images as well.
Complaints: It does have some bugs. We have gotten into modes where it seems to respond to the prior command rather than the current one. For example, you click on one stamper and it applies the prior one, or you pick blue and it applies brown. That is quite frustrating but it only happens rarely. Also, the tablet takes a bit of getting used to. I've seen older kids really struggle with it. My daughter picked up on it right away but she has quite a bit of patience.
My daughter has explored many of the features and we have many more to go. I know this will be an enjoyable system for her for a long time. It will adjust with her abilities.
When I tried it, I have to say, I was disappointed. I have a 5 year old and a 3 year old. I thought they'd have a great time with this, but I'm not even sure which functions would be suitable for them. Now, in fairness, they are computer games kids, not crafts kids, so maybe I'm biased.
First, yes, the colouring is great and I can see that being a hit. The dot to dot? No. It's too hard to control the stylus, even for me, let alone a child still working on drawing straight lines in 'real life'. And I can buy them dot to dot books, if that's what they want, for much cheaper than this.
As for the other projects, I really like the calendar function, but it would be of limited use to my kids. The card function is nice, but, again, its of limited use for my little ones. Essentially, most of the projects will need supervision for young kids. I can see this being great for an older child that likes crafts, though.
A couple of complaints:
1. to exit a project, you are asked if you want to print and finish or not exit. There's no option to not print. In my case, I keep the printer off and delete the queue. Then you're asked if you want to save after asking if you want to print. It should be the other way around and you should not have to print every time you leave a project. You should be able to just save it and come back later.
2. I know this is a tough one, but hand-eye coordination is tough enough for adults, let alone kids. Some type of display on the pad would be nice, even if it doesn't have all the best quality display. That way, a child can see exactly where the stylus needs to be placed, rather than trying to guess by moving it over a spot and looking up the the computer screen. For the current price point, I don't know how Fisher Price could accomodate this, but this is hard for my guys.
3. I don't like that I have to turn off the unit to get back to the computer. Sure, it's a great feature to keep your kids off your computer, but in truth, they soon learn that if they hit that very big on/off button, they can get into Mom's computer anyway. It's an inconvenience for me, because if you want to import your own pictures, you actually have to move them into the software's directory before they're available. This means that you have to know which pictures you want, move them, then turn on the system. If you've forgotten one or change your mind, you exit the system and go back to windows to move the picture you need. Then you turn on the system and start at the beginning again (including sitting through the logo placement at the beginning). I would want to be able to toggle between the Art board and my keyboard to do whatever needs doing. If I have to send an email (or turn off a printer error notification), I shouldn't have to interrupt my son's playing completely for a quickly couple of mouse strokes in my work.
4. The colour rainbow was not that flexible. I appreciate that it's hard to provide buttons for all the colours, but once in the rainbow, it seems too easy to pick the wrong colour. You pick one, and if your stylus slides over another before the system has recognised your pick, you end up with the wrong colour.
5. Importing your own pictures. To find out how to do this, you have to go to the parental controls, which were not that easy to find. In fact, I think I had to press the print button, then use a menu or something like that. It's not intuitive or in the instructions. Once you find out that the pictures have to be in the "Add Pictures" directory (and you exit the system to move your pictures and re-enter the system again), you find that choosing them is slow, if you've got large picture files. In essence, importing the pictures is a slow process, not minutes, but several seconds at least. It would be nice if this was faster.
6. Once you get your pictures up, you can either use them as a background or a stamp. For a stamp, there are three sizes. It seemed the small was too small (perfect for a stamp size, though), and the medium was too big. If I just wanted the picture large enough to see, but not covering everthing, it was not easy to do. Also, once you place the stamp, you could either "do over" (using the undo button) or leave it where it was. There is no drag and drop type of function to place it where you want it. If there was ghosting to show where it would be placed before you press the stylus, I would understand that, but essentially, they're assuming kids won't mind it not being where they want it. In addition, you can't edit or crop your pictures with this tool at all, but you can distort them, which is fun for kids.
7. The undo button is limited to undoing only the last thing done. You can erase your entire picture, but not undo more than one thing, which takes some planning.
8. Once a background is placed, you can only change it, not get rid of it, unless you erase the entire picture (or it's the last thing you did and you use the undo button). That's annoying.
9. Some of the projects don't seem to have an exit button. All you can do is press the home button on the tablet and you are given the print and exit choice.
Good things:
1. As I said, for little ones, the colouring is really fun. (although, it's not that easy for them to colour in their own drawings, because you have to remember to close all your lines)
2. Any user will improve their hand-eye coordination, which is good for budding artists.
3. The card projects can be simple and fun for kids, if you're willing to let your child use your printer or willing to help them with it. If you're an adult, I would suggest Print Shop for your own card projects, though.
4. Any projects you save will make a .png file in the directory, which you can access and use in other software or emails. This might be fun for a child to see, say, a slide show (using other software) of their work, import their drawing to your blog or send it to grandma via email.
5. The buttons are easy for a child to use and their purposes are reasonably clear, based on the pictures. However, for some things, it's better if the child can read what's needed on the screen, ie: the print and save or other directions. The good thing is, though, the instructions are also spoken, so make sure you have the sound on for your kids.
All in all, I'm not sure I'll keep this product. I think Fisher Price will come up with better versions. My kids are young enough that I can wait for the future products.
As I said earlier, if your child loves crafts, this might be really fun. If your child just loves computer colouring, that function is available. If you want your child to be able to play with their own pictures and draw on them, this might get used. If you want to teach more about hand-eye coordination, the stylus will help with that. It might even teach a child who's slow to pick up a pencil properly how to do just that.
But if you have active kids who want to play games or sports or trucks or pretend, not sit and colour, this probably isn't the right product for you. Get them a colouring book and markers for the times they might feel like colouring. Also, there are a lot or really good computer games and systems out there that are educational and would be money better spent, such as the Leapster or the Vtech smile systems.
I had my reservations about it, due to bad reviews. I was absolutely wrong...this toy is GREAT.
The problem, the way I see it, is that people failed to read the system requirements.
Just because it is considered a "toy", don't automatically assume that your outdated computer will be able to run it.
The application NEEDS a video card with 64MB of ram, and DirectX 9.0c.
Any pc that is able to play any games released in the past few years has WELL OVER these specs. (my current pc has 256MB video ram for example)
(If your pc is 10 years old, this may be a problem...just read the system requirements, just as you would with any other computer software or hardware...right from the box in front of me:

windows vista/2000/xp
750mhz processor

There were no software hangups, etc. The tablet works EXACTLY as advertised, we love it. My 4 year old loves it, my 7 year old had a go with it and had fun, and even my wife and I have been playing with it.
GREAT present for any kid that loves to draw and play...give it a try!
UPDATE: This is still getting plenty of use in our house and we have downloaded it on our 2nd computer without problems as well. We make thank you cards, teacher notes, decorate photographs and so forth. Lots of longevity in this toy which is rarely seen in my house.
Most of these 1 star reviews are for people who don't check out the box requirements prior to purchasing and they give a false review since they have never even tried the product to review it. How some people can plug it in and play immediately whereas others can't install just shows it is their computer, NOT the toy. Make sure you check your requirements and enjoy!! It is well worth the money.

I was really excited when I saw this product. The first two I bought didn't have disks in them, so it was back to the store twice, but on the third try, I was able to install successfully. I didn't really have much trouble with the install (a microsoft blip where it froze while preparing to install, but that's all). When I tried it, I have to say, I was disappointed. Honest reviews on Fisher-Price Digital Arts & Crafts Studio
Kids as young as 2 and as old as 10 have used this system in our house. I find myself using it as well. It is so easy to use and really encourages artful expression that is missing in school these days. Printing is very easy and hooking it up once downloading the software is as easy as plugging into the usb cord. Kids 5 and over can work without any help at all. I would recommend getting a cheap printer with cheap ink catridges and set a limit on print outs. Otherwise you will have 20+ printouts after each session!! I like that I can add software to it for more pictures and ideas down the line this will prolong its life and interest with my kids. Walmart has an animal bonus disc included (retail ) and $ shipping! I am saving the animal disc for the holidays.\UPDATE: This is still getting plenty of use in our house and we have downloaded it on our 2nd computer without problems as well. My kids (ages 2, 4, and 6) absolutely love this product. They are each able to use it succesfully and have so much fun being able to paint and draw on the computer. My daughter (who was 3 at the time I bought this for her) is not usually particularly rough on her dolls. I think she was trying to take the shoes off of this Barbie, which you cannot do. The shoes light up, and when she pulled too hard on them, they came loose, leaving electrical wires coming out of her feet exposed. So this Barbie had to be thrown in the trash very shortly after I purchased her. I think that if a 3 year old can pull the shoes and wires loose, it is not constructed very well. That seems quite dangerous to me.

Cheap Disney Princess Ballerina Snow White, Cinderella, Ariel Dolls
I asked my daughter to tell me how many stars to give these dolls. She said "five." I asked her what I should write and she said she loves them "A LOT!" Frankly, I'm just happy to see some modest Barbie-type dolls for a change. Sure, the tutus come off, but the "leotard" part is built in and not removable. Which leads me to the other positive less of a mess to clean up after play time.

Got this for my sisters birthday who just turned 4 and I must say she is very happy. My daughters received this & the blonde hair one for Christmas they enjoyed them so much, the hair wig actually worked well also it has a strap that goes on the chin of the doll to help hold it on the head, my girls usedvtheir imaginations and had slit of fun playing with the dolls
About this blue wig... All of these Moxie Girlz dolls have tons of hair, most of it wavy. I mean, TONS. The hair reminds me of a managable rat's nest. After a day of play, my daughter requests me to brush out the dolls' hair; often times I am extracting weird debris and tiny accessories from these mops. Anyhow, this wig does not stay on Sophina's head. It has a blue elastic that is to fit at the nape of the doll's neck. It doesn't stay put unless you place the elastic under her chin. Then the doll looks like she is wearing some odd furry bike helmet. And if you manage to get the wig on well, it doesn't cover up Sophina's brown hair. That is very frustrating to a 6 year old. And the wig is a worse magnet for stuff to get caught in it than the actual doll's hair. I braid it after I get it combed out, for storage.
Luckily, I discovered that your daughter's hair detangling spray works just as well on synthetic doll hair. Before I even put a brush in these dolly 'do's, I spray them down with the detangler. Works like a charm. I will say that the hair isn't that... high quality. Meaning, it frizzes out way too early in the ownership of the toy, with not much hard play. These semi-permanent frizzes on the ends can be minimized with the detangler, but the hair never remains that high quality smoothness it first seemed to have. And the wig will pull apart if you try to brush it out with no spray.
Love these dolls, but the wig is useless, making it worthless. I'd get a different version of Sophina.

Hi , My daughter asked for one of the Moxy girls for Christmas , she seemed excited when she got it ,but she doesn't seem all that interested in playing with it, she loves the idea of the wig ,but I don't think it is all that easy to put on , etc.. I like the cute outfit, fact is, as cute as the guitar is,it is not really at all useful, it could be better. Discount Monster High Create-A-Monster Bee Add-On Accessory Parts
Again... I am not happy with these Add On's for the Create a Monster doll. Though this set was my favorite because of the whole Bumblebee thing going on, but the wig is horrible. Sits sooo high on the head and falls off. Try a Liv Doll wig... they fit great! Again, so glad I only spent $10 at Walmart for this Add On... its not worth any more than that...
Another suggestion would be that you could swap parts with the regular range of Monster High dolls, because the fittings are larger they are incompatible so you can't even use a broken doll to supplement your parts. I really don't think they've thought this through, unless it was their intention to wast plastic and have kids get bored with them very quickly?

I really like these and love the idea of swapping and changing around the parts to make a new monster, however, the big downer on these is the fact that you are always left with bits that can't be used. Plus, any upper arms and thighs from the original starter packs (not to mention the torso) just won't match the skin colour of this set! If the company sold spare upper arms, thighs and torsos that would be a much better idea and much better value for money. I'm waiting till I can get more parts, until then these are just sitting around in their boxes. Disappointing.Another suggestion would be that you could swap parts with the regular range of Monster High dolls, because the fittings are larger they are incompatible so you can't even use a broken doll to supplement your parts. My daughter loves the dress that came with this pack. The yellow and black striped dress has taken a turn on all of her dolls at least once. The classic black pumps are now on her Scary Tales Clawdeen doll. I wish Mattel kept all their Monster High shoes this simple and pretty. The Bee wings are on her Create a Monster Witch doll. The doll really does look like a Bee and her yellow and black limbs are nice. Unfortunately Bee's wig is not as nice and my daughter tried several times to make it look pretty to no avail. The wig is now tossed in her toy box where it will probably stay. I buy her Liv wigs for her dolls now. I do wish that these dolls had actual names and back stories to make playing with them more fun. My daughter tends to favor the ones that appear in the cartoons over the others.Honest reviews on Monster High Create-A-Monster Bee Add-On Accessory Parts
When the MH dolls first came out I thought. "With the way they pop on and off, why not do them all like this and make them interchangeable?" yeah great idea right? No, not when Mattel is being greedy. I made the mistake of buying almost everyone of these kits. God Help Me! I got completely ripped off. They are cheap, the wigs look like crap, the arms and legs are loose, and the hip joints break with little movement. I cant believe that Mattel has gotten so cheap. I mean first the first set of MH dolls end up breaking like crazy, then this? Come on Mattel don't you have enough money????? Do you really have to rip off us parents this close to Christmas???? This set was NOT worth the money, and I didnt pay hardly anything for it at the store. None of these sets are worth a flip. I might as well toss them ALL in the trash or had just set my dollars on fire in the store. I will be very cautious in buying ANYTHING new from Mattel that is MH. So parents just beware. If you buy any of these kits just know that you are getting half of what you pay for, if that. What is next? A pile of crap with the MH logo on it? Really Mattel, really? This set is even worse than the others and I bought them all unfortunately! The wings wont stay on, none of the torsos look good with any of it. The wig is cheapy, it looks like crap. the dress looks like it is cheap and it isn't even. The velcro is off to the side and you can see it from the front. It just looks terrible. The legs and arms, like all of the others, wont stay on. So just save your money, just wait for the real doll. These sets suck!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Monster High Create-A-Monster Bee Add-On Accessory Parts

Review of Doll Chair, Salon Doll Chair fit for 18 Inch American Girl Doll Bed

Sorry, but this item was incredibly small. I'm not sure if a Barbie doll would fit on the chair? So an 18" American Girl doll absolutely does not fit on this chair. I have returned it and purchased it for less and the item I purchased was much bigger and sturdier (like the ones you see at Walmart or Target). I also looked before purchasing for "item details" giving me the exact dimensions but didn't see anything. So I assumed their heading/advertisment and title of the chair was accurate fits 18" dolls. Luckily I am Christmas shopping early so there's plenty of time to return the item.

I had to write a review on this after I read the other saying this salon chair isn't even big enough for a barbie. My daughter got it for a Christmas gift yesterday and loves it! Her American Girl doll fits perfectly in it. Can pump the chair up and down and bring the footrest up. Great buy!Best Deals for Doll Chair, Salon Doll Chair fit for 18 Inch American Girl Doll Bed

These small pieces are maybe too tiny to plu with, but they are so well made, my daughter loves them and collects as many as we find. The only issue is that the article did not describe the true size of these, as they are smaller than the regular squinkies.Saturday, November 22, 2014
Discount Disney Princess Royal Party Sleeping Beauty Palace Playset
If you have ever wrestled with the "Polly Pocket" sized Disney figures' previous dress types, then you know the pain of giving a princess a wardrobe change. The rubbery dresses were popular for awhile, which were hard to squeeze the dolls into without dislocating a few limbs, but at least the big dresses helped the dolls stand on their own. Then they switched to the fabric ones which were just as annoying and tough to struggle on, and the dolls wouldn't stand... they would just fall over. So you had to maneuver them into poorly made furniture to try and have them sit and it didn't work. Unless you wanted to play Sleeping Beauty with her flat on her back sleeping the whole time, then it was an exercise in creative ways of propping up the dolls.
BUT NO MORE!!
Those days are OVER!
Here comes the MAGICLIP dresses which are hard plastic and open like a clamshell. Slide the doll in, clip it closed and DONE. Dolls change within minutes and all the dresses are compatible with the whole line. So far only four princesses have been given the Magiclip makeover, but hopefully there will be more on the way...
Sleeping Beauty's castle is adorable. Pink, blue and all sparkles, it looks like a girl's birthday party (and it IS a Party Palace afterall!) The previous line of Disney Princess houses did not include a mini Sleeping Beauty castle so it is about time that they made one. The Magiclip dresses are the star of the show here, but the castle is cute as well. It opens easily and seems much studier than some of the other princess houses my girls have.
The palace is small but very cute. It is just the right size for her to get out on her own and is a good place for storing the smaller accessories. She also loves to hang up the extra magic clip dress in the "closet".
Overall, a great purchase and I'm sure that we'll be getting more of the dolls in this line!
Her friend has Cinderella's castle (we gave it to her for her bday) & the girls love them both!

I just got this for my 2 1/2 year old and we are so happy with it! We LOVE the magic clip dresses, a huge improvement over the older silicone ones. She has a little trouble getting them on (the hair gets in the way on Aurora) but we've only had it for a day so I'm sure that she'll get the hang of it! I love that the dolls are the same size as the ones that came with the silicone style of dresses so that they can share dresses. The palace is small but very cute. My 3.5 year old loves the "Polly-Pocket" sized princess dolls and is able to handle the new MagiClip dresses included in this set with no problem. The dresses are hard plastic and open at the top when pinched at the bottom. Previously, she ripped the heads and arms off several princesses trying to get the standard rubbery dresses on and off. If only I could trade in all the rubber dresses for these! This was the only Sleeping Beauty set I could find with the MagiClip. The castle is nothing special, and I would not have paid for it if just the doll with dresses was available, as it is for Ariel, Tiana, and Cinderella. TRU had better price when I bought so shop around.Honest reviews on Disney Princess Royal Party Sleeping Beauty Palace Playset
Great toy! The clip-dress princesses are perfect for my 3 yr old (she can change their outfits herself) & the castle suits us well. You can't fit any more dresses in the "closet", but I am so happy that it closes up & stores neatly, (& is compact!) that I don't care. :)Her friend has Cinderella's castle (we gave it to her for her bday) & the girls love them both!

Cheap Doll Boots Pink Suede Ewe Boot, 18 Inch Doll Shoes Fits 18 Inch
I ordered these for my daughters American Girl Doll and they fit her just right. They are adorable and are exactly the same color as portrayed in the picture online, a rosy pink. Very well made, they remind me of little UGG boots for dolls. They go on easily and we have had no issues with them falling off and getting lost.
A great little winter accessory for any American Girl Doll!

I bought this for my niece's Bday. It was not very well constucted. I had to hand sew the zipper back on because is ripped appart when I unzipped the boot. If I would have had time to return this, I would have. I was not pleased at all with the quality. I had planned to use Sophia for all my doll clothes needs. I have since reconsider that notion. too bad, they have cute merchandise but I don't trust the quality.Best Deals for Doll Boots Pink Suede Ewe Boot, 18 Inch Doll Shoes Fits 18 Inch

I just received 5 pairs of these adorable little boots! 4 pairs for my daughter's 4 AG dolls and 1 pair for a gift to her friend. I purchased the pink,purple,2 beige, and teal! They're all cute but the Teal is my favorite, because the color is beautiful, and they are the only pair that feel like real suede! I ordered the Teal & Pink boots match the new Historical AG dolls Cecile & Marie Grace dresses! Great Stocking stuffers for Christmas, or just because your AG doll needs new winter boots! I'm ordering 2 more pairs as gifts, because once my daughter's bf see all the other colors, she'll want them! They look like little doll Ugg boots, & the price is right for me! Adorable little boots! They are easy for my 6 year old daughter to put on and take off of her American Girl doll. I think they are a great value, expecially considering they cost about a 1/4th of the price of similar ones at the AG store.Sunday, October 26, 2014
Buy JC Toys 20" La Baby Doll, Flower
I bought this doll for my 2yr old granddaughter. Her 4yr old sister let me know that, since her birthday is not until December, I better order one and save it for her in case it runs out! We have bought 4 dolls for grandaughters ages 2,4,6, & 7! They love them. A fun thing is to give the gift with a little set of newborn clothes since they fit perfectly. The product came and was completely different than what my child ordered. He worked hard for that money and was super disappointed. I would say that in the future add a line in there that the product may look different. Over all the shipping process was easy and as painless as usual and the quality of the doll appears good.

Review of Ty Lovable Lily
My 7 year old daughter has a few Ty girlz dolls. This one is cute and she plays with them together. She spends more time with the website than with the dolls themselves. I appreciate that the girl is fully covered in an age appropriate outfit.
