My Daughter Loves these dolls! My 7 year old received these dolls amongst several others this Holiday and she won't put them down! This Draculaura is more awesome than I realized.

The wings she is wearing are attached with a plastic piece that clips onto her shoulders and another piece that clips onto her waist. The section of plastic that runs down her back is made to look like corset lacing and has a cute pink bow at the bottom. One thing I didn't expect with the wings is that they are hinged! You can fold them back more toward her hair, or bring them forward toward her face. Also, the wings sit higher than pictured; The highest tip of her wing is as high as the top of her head. Most importantly, she can be placed on her stand while wearing her wings.

Her outfit is beautiful. Her tights fade from black at the bottom to pink at the top. Her shoes have printed lacing on the sides with a heart with bat wings at the top of each. Her pink plastic collar is shaped like a spider web, and can be removed.

Her hair might need some restyling since her curls were flattened in the box.

She comes with a pink pail, a handheld mask, a skeleton, and a pair of pink bow earrings. The skeleton's head moves, but the body is all one piece. There is a hole in the skeleton's head where you can place one of the bow earrings.

My 6 year old daughter is a Monster High fanatic, and Draculaura is her absolute favorite! She has all of this character's dolls, and this one might be her favorite. The wings come off, she has the most adorable skeleton doll (which she can hold) and her face, hair, and clothes are gorgeous! The quality of the doll seems better than the first line.

Amazon is my go-to retailer for many things including toys. I'd visited my local Walmart and seen this particular Monster High doll that my granddaughter was all about, so i wanted to see how much better Amazon's orice might be.

Was I in for a disappointment! This $19.97 doll at my local Walmart (and on Walmart's website) shows up on Amazon for $34.94. Really?!?

I saw this happen some last year on Amazon as Christmas neared and the craze over Monster High dolls was at a fever pitch. Some of the prices Amazon wanted were close to scalping, but they were the only retailer with available stock for some of the Monster High dolls, so you either ponied up or did without. But this particular doll is openly available, so I don't know what Amazon is thinking.

I know what I'm thinking heading to Walmart for this particular purchase. Sorry Amazon!

My daughter (who was 3 at the time I bought this for her) is not usually particularly rough on her dolls. I think she was trying to take the shoes off of this Barbie, which you cannot do. The shoes light up, and when she pulled too hard on them, they came loose, leaving electrical wires coming out of her feet exposed. So this Barbie had to be thrown in the trash very shortly after I purchased her. I think that if a 3 year old can pull the shoes and wires loose, it is not constructed very well. That seems quite dangerous to me.

Cheap Be My Girl Olivia Doll

Doll has BROWN eyes (and very dark brown), not blue as shown. Also, the locket was not as pictured, and the entire outfit was darker colors (e.g. shoes were blue, but more navy than turquoise/lt. blue). Otherwise, seemed like a nice doll. I gave it 3 stars all around only because I had to rate it in order to submit a review.

Cheap Bratzillaz Doll - Maygana Broomstix

I was really excited to get the Bratzillaz dolls. However, Meygana turned out to be pretty disappointing.

When I took her out of the box, I found that she had the absolute worst hair I've ever seen. It was dry, matted and frizzy. Whenever I tried washing it, big clumps of hair came out. The doll honestly looked like something that had been played with for years, rather than something that was brand new. I do realize that curly doll hair often looks bad out of the box -maybe the straight-haired Bratzillaz are better? Still, it was pretty sad.

Another thing that should be noted is that her goggles and hat are actually sewn onto the head, and if you do decide to take them off, it can be challenging to get them back on in a way that looks nice. The elastic for the hat is also especially weak -I had it break just trying to get the hat back on. Also, the pegs holding the earrings in are entirely too small, and they fall out very easily. I would imagine that they would get lost very fast if owned by a child.

If you can get past the issues, Meygana is still a beautiful doll. She has amazing eyes that have a sort of iridescent sparkle to them. However, if you do decide to get Meygana, be aware of these flaws.

I bought Maygana because she has such pretty inset glass eyes (not painted like most dolls) and she is also fully jointed, so she can be posed a lot of different ways. Her hair is very full, but it would be better if it was rooted into her head--it appears to be glued on and there are thin spots. I removed her hat and googles and that's when I saw this, they hide it otherwise. Her clothes can be removed and are quite detailed for a $20 doll. The stand also works well. Her face seems prettier than the other Bratz dolls. All in all, I think this doll is a good value, but it won't hold up to young children, it needs to be carefully handled.

I bought all 5 Bratzillaz dolls and the Cafe Zap playset for our daughter. She is very interested in magic (magic cards, magic tricks, etc.) so these were a perfect addition for her imagination. All five are beautiful but Meygana is my favorite. Her hair is a stunning color and the sparking blue glass eyes are so very pretty. The clothes on all 5 are well stitched with the makeup on perfectly. There are only a few small parts but as with the Monster High dolls, I bought her a special box for the dolls and had her decorate a zippered bag for the parts. Great buy from Amazon.

Applejack is cute, but for some reason she looks the least like her pony character out of any of the dolls of the set. It is some the eye shape and possibly the fact her freckles are darker and almost blend in with her face. She looks better in the pictures than in person.

These dolls look nothing like the characters from the "Equestria Girls" movie. They look more like a product of weird MLP Furry fanfic. Some kids won't care about this, but many will notice it as soon as they see them and find that disappointing. Their quality is a mixed bag. The faces are painted beautifully with glossy paint and glitter. I'm not a big fan of heavy makeup on dolls, but Hasbro made their faces a mixture of whimsical, but tasteful and cute. The styles of clothing are adorable, too. The dresses/skirts tend to be a bit short, but they are girly enough (they are not made to look "sexy") it is cute.

However, the quality really stops there. The clothing is a nightmare! It is cheap and poorly-made. A lot of the dolls' clothes aren't hemmed on the bottom and either look ragged--or will look ragged in a few play sessions. The seams on some of the clothes are starting to fall apart in the box. It's a shame Hasbro had to be so cheap as they already got around the clothing costs by making a lot of the dolls' tops painted on the body.

This wouldn't be a biggie as fashion doll clothes can be exchanged with other brands or hand-made by a talented child/parent/collector. However, any creativity on making future clothes is limited by the shoes. They are part of the feet. As a parent and toy collector, this trend really bothers me to begin with. It is really gross and creepy taking off the shoes on the footless dolls. The knobs that hold the shoes on the legs look like bones. It also sends the really negative message to girls that shoes are more important than feet. Yuck!

As a parent, I find this very impractical and wasteful as shoe/feet can be easily lost and you end up with a doll who forever looks like she had an accident with a machete--a lovely marketing technique to force you to buy future (cheaply-made) outfits to obtain more "feet." If you are a parent worried about this or have a sensitive child, it may be a good time to break out the super-glue. Come on, Hasbro--these girls were PONIES. They need their feet. At least make them into hooves.

Next, the bodies on the Equestria Girls in the smaller packages are very cheap. The legs are stiff plastic. Only the ones in the deluxe fashion sets bends at the knee (the more expensively-priced Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy). I never understood how toy companies could make dolls like this as it seems to be a safety hazard, but it's also low-quality and not as fun to play with. A few Barbies have legs like that, but they are either dolls either for tub play (so they don't mildew) or ones that are marked well into the $5-7 range--which tells me Hasbro is trying to cut corners every way possible to make a buck and the Equestria Girls are ridiculously over-priced.

Finally we get to the hair. The plugs in the front are tight and close together, but the plugs past that are *very* sparse. The scalp appears to painted to hide this on Applejack, but not for the other dolls. The hair is typical pony hair--and it's probably a good thing it's sparse for that reason as it will knot quickly. The hair quality is okay for the small ponies (because of the way it's lined up), but will be a total pain to brush out on a fashion doll. Not at all the quality you'd see in a Barbie or Monster High doll.

All-in-all, I don't think I'd purchase this doll if I saw it in the store--not for these prices (even the retail ones)--or I'd only buy my kid's favorite character (Rainbow Dash). I discourage fellow parents and toy collectors from spending any less than retail on it (if even that). This toy is maybe worth $10--at the most. Barbie dolls that are similar (hard legs, painted on tops--but almost always better hair) cost even less than that. There are many other dolls that are higher-quality in the same price range or less.

My daughter was so excited...with her applejack pony she loves to impersonate her country accent. I personally think applejack is one of the best out of these dolls...her hair is different, more softer, easier to style. She comes with a hat, earrings and brush, stickers and clubcard. Her top is painted on and she has a skirt to complete her outfit. Well made dolls. They have been called stiff by other reviewers but the arms and legs are soft and bendable, I like it, much better than whatever mattel uses for Monster High. I think these will sell out soon, or others will buy in bulk and try to resell at a higher value, so if your planning on getting this for xmas, I would definitely recommend buying NOW, so you don't have to pay the insane prices. As far as wear and tear goes...my daughter has has all these ponies for a good week. She has carried them everywhere...played with them for a good 4 hours a day, and the hair has gotten messy. They have held up good once I figured out I needed to pull the hair back in to a ponytail or braid. Once you do that, you wont have to worry about the hair getting tangled. I am considering on buying a second of her favortites to have as a backup just in case it gets lost.

The riding pants are very tight and difficult (nearly impossible) to get on/off both American Girl and My Generation dolls (reviews on American Girl site indicate that the AG brand riding outfit also has this issue).

The material doesn't feel high quality

All-in-all, except for the too tight pants, it's ok. I would probably not purchase it again for that reason. I think it will frustrate a little girl.

I ordered this so my younger daughter could be like her big sister, who has the American Girl wheelchair, crutches and cast. The wheelchair and crutches in this set seem that they would be fine, but I sent it back because the cast is either broken or defective. It won't close around a doll's leg. Too bad because I really didn't want to pay to order another American Girl set, but at least that one functions as it's supposed to.

It may seem like a crass, insulting toy accessory, but on the contrary, it gives children insight into the handicapped world, that some children must go through. I recommend this as a learning experience for kids 6 to 10. I bought this for my soon to be 5 yr old granddaughter but everybody got in on the play. Granted I did team it up with another polly pocket set (so there would be plenty of options and other dolls) but it would have been a big hit anyway. Her 9 yr old twin sisters immmediatedly joined her in the play and they continue to do so days later (they opened this gift before Christmas). We use a square tupperware-like container for storage which works well so the smaller pieces don't end up lost and this makes it easily transported to other rooms or in the car.) I gave it 3 stars for educational value because it takes/develops fine motor skills to apply the clothes; the girls role play and spin out different scenarios for the outfits; and the little ones will learn colors etc when interacting/ trading with others.

I got this for my daughter's sixth birthday (we went with a Polly Pocket theme) and she loved that this doll came with so many clothes there are shorts, culottes, pants, dresses, tops, shoes, etc. My daughter was happy to be able to dress her other Polly dolls in these outfits too. We store all of the Polly accessories in a separate container (with handle) so that we can carry them around easily, and prevent these tiny pieces from getting lost (though over the years, we have lost quite a few of the Polly accessories). The dolls are kept in another separate container. The clothes can at times be difficult to put on the dolls, but careful sliding usually helps.

The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because the clothes can be sort of difficult to get on & off and the plastic-y type of material they are made of is not really very hard to rip. My girls love playing with this toy, i have never seen a kids pull a dolls head off some much and still have the head stay on when its put back on. The straps on some of the shirts have ripped off, and the clothes are a little tough to put on the dolly. the shoes are REALLY easy to miss place because they are so small and her hand bags didn't last long either. This a great toy for families without toddlers.
