All the pieces to Mattel's Barbie Pink furniture line are adorable and are up to date with today's fashion and design conscience little girls, but wow, talk about all the little pieces that come along with the sets that seriously are a hazard to anyone who has animals in the house. After my daughter is finished playing with her Barbies and setting up house, I have to make sure each and every time that ALL the little pieces are retrieved for the sake of my pups. If it weren't for me worrying about my little dogs, I would rest easier. As a matter of fact, I wish I had so many options with my Barbies back in the 60's. Overall, the furniture is functional and the rooms are glam! She has a lot of fun playing with her Barbies and that's all that matters most.

Cheap Barbie Glam Vanity Play Set - Pink
Very good play set and very durable. This is great for any Barbie doll. The mirror is very realistic and isn't like the reflective sticker stuff that many old Barbie mirrors used to be made out of. The smaller parts are also very well made, especially the "iPod" and the piggy bank that has a little slit for "coins". It also comes with a little box that opens and closes with "make-up" brushes and a little curling iron that opens and closes.
Buy Barbie and the 12 Princesses Board Game
Our 5 year old daughter loves anything Barbie and especially this movie. The game is really easy for her to play and we enjoy playing it with her.

Reviews of Doll Clothes Playwear 10-13 inch dolls
DO NOT BUY this set of Doll Clothes. They are so cheaply made, the stitching quality is poor, the seams are not finished so there is a lot of unraveling and some of the items arrived already damaged. There were 4 outfits, 1 shirt was ripped at the cuff and one of the snap buttons on the overalls was already detached from the fabric. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS.

This is a really cheap dollar store item ~ But it works for the price. I have one on top of my fish tank, and when I open the blinds in the morning, the sun shines in, and she starts doing her little dance. Cheap Juku Couture 9" Fashion Dolls Series No. 1 Launch Collection Kana
The Juku Couture dolls are quite different than the standard barbie dolls they are a bit shorter (barely comes up to a barbie's chest) and therefore don't fit into all the barbie clothes out there. But they do fit into Bratz or TinkerBell fashion doll sized clothes and that gives a lot of options. But each Juku couture doll comes with so many little pieces of clothing that it really is easy to mix and match and get all kinds of interesting looks.
Kana outfits are probably the least attractive of the girls' sets. But she has interesting hair that is fairly brushable (not as stiff as Jun's) and more interesting looks. The Kana shown here is the premier (Launch) edition. The newest editions (2nd edition) now on sale have, in my opinion, nicer features. Especially Kana, whose looks and clothing changed quite a bit. The launch Kana's clothing was very tacky with fake large pearls and 'jewels' belt that was truly cringe worthy. The newer version does a much better job with her outfit.
The really neat thing about the Juku dolls is the amazing posability of them. They can do so many poses and stand on their own just fine. I've put Juku Couture dolls into head stands, sitting on various objects, even hanging like a monkey from a shelf just for fun. For that reason, I give the Juku dolls much higher marks than most dolls.
I really like that she looks like a teenager the clothes fit the personality well. I've had a chance to buy all the dolls and all the extra outfits and enjoy putting the different variations on these dolls. Jun is my favorite of the line since her looks are so very similar to the very expensive high-end Japanese dolls that cost $200+. And although these dolls don't fit barbie sized doll clothes, they come with so many options with their wardobes that it would be hard to get bored of them. The whole point is to layer everything.
There's a new version of this doll in Target for their second year and the improvements made are very good. I'd recommend getting the newer version of this doll over the premier edition for that reason. The newer dolls aren't as 'glassy eyed' and their expressions not as unrealistic.

if you love soom, pulip, and other ball jointed dolls but cant afford the hundreds of dollars on one even the 'barbie' sised ones get this! they are so cool. hard to fit clothes though. they use Bratz stuff okay or bff doll clothes.But, they come with plenty of layered clothes to make lots of outfits.they are made like regular bjds and you could evn use some hand replacements. they have rooted hair though so no wig changing.Best Deals for Juku Couture 9" Fashion Dolls Series No. 1 Launch Collection Kana

I bought this product for my daughter twice. Sadly both toys did not work correctly. I believe there were problems in the manufacturing. I hope they re-produce this toy and fix the issues becuase my daughter would love to have a working copy. If you are going to buy this pixil chick toy, just make sure they have a good return policy.

Best Bratz: Motorcycle Style Vehicle with Cade Doll Deals
I got Bratz Stylin Rides Motorcycle with Cade for Christmas and when i unwrapped it i loved it! I wanted this more than anything and i was really happy, and then i opened it up and noticed a few problemsOne being the lights didn't work! I tried everything to get them to work but they just wouldn't. Another thing i noticed is that the handle bars are really delicate and could break easily. The doll is really cool and durable though. Overall, this is a good toy but a bit disapointing.

Best Barbie Princess Charm School Princess Blair Doll Deals
Mattel usually puts out two versions of their movie dolls: one with lights and sounds and then one vanilla version at a cheaper price. This is the less expensive doll: she doesn't light up and the quality of the dress is not as good as the fancier version.
This Blair dolls looks better in the front than the back once you debox her, you see that the details don't go all the way to the back of the dress. Since she's targeted at younger girls, they probably wouldn't care anyway.
However, most girls saw the TV commercial (and movie) with the light up dress and will probably want that one rather than this cheap and plain version. Keep that in mind if your child asked for a Blair doll or she may be disappointed that it doesn't light up/make sound like the commercial/her friends' dolls.
Note that the companion dolls (Hadley and Delancey), although of better quality than this particular vanilla doll, do not light up either.

Recently I purchased the Courtney Tea Party Playset and the Bedroom Cottage Carrying Case and the Rachel Doll with a bunny for my 7 yr old and 5 yr old granddaughters. They were thrilled with the accessories, loved the dolls and I'll guarantee that I'll be buying more of these products. For Christmas I plan on getting doll sets for all FOUR of our granddaughters....as I watch the girls play and hear the imagination in their "play" I'm delighted to have something not electronic being used. My daughter simply loves Paddywhack Lane toys and is intent on amassing the entire collection. this was a gift for my four year old daughter she has had so much fun playing tea party with the doll & bear included and incorporting some of her other toys. My girls and I are huge fans of the Paddywhack Lane sets and this one was no exception. This set does have some rather tiny pieces so I wouldn't buy it for a child younger than four unless I planned to keep the tiny stuff safe for a while. Other than that this set has been wonderful for my two and four year old daughters.
