Finally!!! i havent seen this doll in person yet, but i was very happy when my Barbie-addicted daughter said she wanted one. no more of those RIDICULOUS "ethnic" barbies that were just the same old blonde barbie with brown dye added to the plastic.

at least now my daughter can get her unrealistic views of beauty from a doll that has her same wide nose, full lips, etc...

and i'm hoping that being able to style their hair will be one more way to help make her feel better about her own hair.

I'm not a "Barbie Doll" fan, but Dorothy is quite nice. She does have the red sparkly shoes and if you are a collector, she arrives in a nice sturdy box. This doll is a gift for my 6 yr. old granddaughter and so, I haven't "played" with her, so I can't rate her durability. I think the price was too high, but I guess that's the way of the world, eh?

Bought this in all 3 colors for my 3 granddaughters, they are absolutely adorable and the girls all loved them. They bring them with their dolls in them when they come over to spend the night. They zip the babies up in the sleeping bags and pretend they are sleeping at a campfire. Very well made!

This is a very good product. However, the Moxie Teenz Fashion doll with changeable clothing was not the wisest choice of a toy for my 6-year old granddaughter. She wasn't agile enough to easily get the clothes on and off the doll (especially the shoes!). And she of course lost many of the clothing items (especially the shoes!) shortly after playing with them. Maybe she will be ready at age 8? At any rate, I won't be buying her any more fashion dolls or fashion clothing packs in the near future--not until I know she's ready. But if your little girl is ready and responsible, this is a great choice! I sure had fun with it!!

The sweater included in this set was extremely hard to put on the doll (model no. 5 collection 002) because there was no bend in both of her arms. Maybe if it was slit all the way in the back with snap buttons enclosed it would have made it a lot easier to put on. Also the sweater will get gold fleck all over you and the doll and than it would irritate your skin like crazy. Not what I was expecting at all. The jewelery and magazine were pretty much useless. The sunglasses look cute on top of the doll's head but look kind of weird on her. The purse is adorable, very stylish and certainly look better than the normal Barbie plastic purses. If it weren't for the shoes this set would not be worth it. The shoes are absolutely up to date in the shoes world. All look different and surprisingly easy to put on and off also it stayed on the doll's feet pretty well.

I got this set because it's rare to see camel as the main color in Barbie clothing. I felt the styles were true to life and very modern. I found the sweater to be a different material than the picture, and it is a little hard to put on the doll. In the picture it looks like a knitted beige, in real life its more of a gold almost transluscent material. I enjoy the necklace and the bracelet which are as shown. The shoes are super cute and fit the Barbie Collector Basics dolls well, but don't fit the Fashionista dolls very well. There is an extra pair of brown wedges with a lace up strap that are really cute. The purse looks like a real purse and you can put items inside it, like the magazine. The magazine is blank inside, and has what looks like Russian text on the outside, I don't know what that was about. The glasses were ok but do look a little weird on Barbie's face. Overall I liked this set because it is different and casual.

The shoes and the purse are good, but that's it. The sunglasses don't stay on. The sweater is close to impossible to put on. The chain necklace is cheap looking and is so big it falls off. Our bracelet had a chip in the gold paint out of the box. The magazine is blank with foreign words on the cover. The shoes are all gold and tan, so they all match the same outfits, making them less versatile. Keep looking.

I bought this house as a part of the set I found it (elsewhere) sold together with Barbie Glam Dining Set Pink, Barbie Kitchen Play Set Pink and Barbie Glam Refrigerator. I was actually looking to buy just all those other Barbie furniture sets, I wasn't going to buy the house and I wouldn't have bought it if I hadn't stumbled upon that deal. But since it actually cost me less than what I would have paid if I were to buy just those three Barbie furniture sets separately, I decided to buy it. I'm happy with the other three sets that were sold with the house and I also like Barbie bathtub, sofa and bathroom that I bought separately, they are great and a lot of fun, but I'm a bit dissappointed with the house. There's not much to play with, really, it's just 3 walls, a small side table, 2 chairs and a bed (the bed is probably the best piece in the entire set). There's also a double-sided kitchen/bathroom piece, but it's really inconvinient to play with since it's two-sided and you can only play with one side of it at a time, so you have to choose between the bathroom and the kitchen all the time, because no matter how you place it, you can't play with both sides at the same time. That was the most dissappointing thing about the house because the pictures I saw online led me to believe the bathroom and the kitchen were two separate pieces. The house does come with plenty of great small accessories, though, (dishes, foods, tea set, vase, computer, etc., etc., etc.) and we had a lot of fun with all the stickers it also comes with -you're supposed to apply them all over the house according to the instructions. Still, I'm glad I didn't pay the full price for it, I just don't think it would have been worth it. It's good as a part of the entire Barbie furniture collection, but wouldn't have been a lot of fun on its own.

My daughter loves this Barbie house. It is a ton cheaper than the mansion yet comes with a real-looking kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, etc. and tons of accessories. I thought it was a pretty good deal considering all the stuff that accompanies it. However it is almost impossible to "tote" it and it won't go back in the box after it is assembled (because of the roof). The doors are also a bit cheap and come off easily though they snap back on. Also be sure you help your kids put the stickers on where they're supposed to go right away or you'll find yourself meticulously peeling off all the errant stickers to get them where they're supposed to go. :)

i bought this toy last year for my dollar but instead it ws blue but like many young girls she wanted the pink version. nonetheless i expected the exact same pieces and the exact same set-up however i was truly disappointed. the previous house had additional set-up pieces but this one instead has more stickers and less pieces. i now have to buy the additional sets which cost of course more money. honestly had i known that i would not have purchased this. i would have kept it on the shelf. my daughter however will enjoy this as she had the previous one and will probably incorporate some of the old pieces. she loves it and i believe most little girls will but because they decided to replace actually products with stickers i am completely disgusted. arent these toys high enough?....i am now thankful i only had to pay 20 dollars for this on sale @ target but i would suggest purchasing the actually doll house from either amazon or toysrus or possibly target. amazon had it on sale at one point in time for 99.99 but they've sold out so try a different store. btw this toy is full of imagination and as all the other reviews stated it gives hours and hours of playtime.

Being Asian, I wanted to find an Asian doll for my daughter and thought this looked cute on Amazon. While the doll's face is pretty, the hair is awful. Uneven, coarse and difficult to style! The doll comes with a white camisole and underpants that hold up pretty well. It has a pleasant vanilla-scent to it which I thought was weird at first but you get used to it. The one thing that really bothers me is that one of the arms keeps coming off! We kept reinserting it and that must of caused some sort of wear and tear because now it just keeps coming off. Sometimes, you can find a lonely arm laying on the ground in our house.

Hard to find asian dolls, as mentioned before, but this one is adorable. Looked just like my daughter when she was born. Just a note though, it fits preemie clothing, very loosely, so maybe you have some laying around and it can be put on her. She just wears a onesie normally. My daughter loves carrying this doll around and pushing it in the stroller and rocking it to bed. So cute. My only complaint is the hair should be more manageable. It tangles and matts too easily, but i guess thats all dolls. Still, a good find.

When each of my daughters turned 5, this was their "Wow" gift. I looked at a lot of doll houses and settled on these for several reasons.

1. They were outgrowing their Little People, but I wasn't really ready to do the "Barbie" thing. These sweet houses are a great compromise.

2. The Playmobil doll house rooms/people/accessories fit perfectly into these houses. I love Playmobil because of its quality and the fact that it's not made in China.

3. Relatively easy assembly. There are window boxes under each of the side windows. These have pegs on the bottom that fit through holes in the first and second floors. I put the whole thing together in about 20 minutes. The hardest part is attaching the front two panels. You have to fit metal pieces over the top/bottom of each panel, then screw them in with a Phillips head screwdriver. When I did this on my older daughter's doll house (she has the Butterfly House) I didn't get them exactly level and so her front panel is often ajar. When I did it for my second daughter's (Strawberry Villa), I had the benefit of experience and I got the screws in dead on and the doors sit perfectly closed.

4. The inside of the houses are all identical. The only difference is the outside styling. This was important to me, since I was buying one for each girl, and I didn't want "too much variation."

5. They're a great size for bedrooms. They fit nicely in a corner or against a wall. They're light enough to pick up and vacuum under when I need to.

6. They're NOT plastic. For something to store in a bedroom, these have more the look of "furniture" than "toy" which I think looks nicer.

Are they pricey? Yes. Although I bought both of mine at a substantial discount from the retail price. For both I watched them for a little while on Amazon, and then when I saw a great price, I pounced. However, I think you get your "bang for your buck" because they are truly darling; won't look "babyish" when my daughters are a bit older; and work so well with the Playmobil.

I got this for my 3 year old daughter. She is in love with it. The first thing she does in the morning is run over to her villa, sit on her little chair and start playing house with her little critters, fairy dolls and doll house people. The villa is made so well, very sturdy, easy to assemble, charming to look at and clearly a wonderful stage for my daughter's endless imaginary play. I would recommend this doll house to anyone. The price at Amazon was by far the best anywhere.

Darling dollhouse that's all the more special because it's not pink! My daughter received this for Christmas after asking Santa for a dollhouse with a "red roof". This is the sweetest of all the Le Toy Van houses, I think, and is very good quality. It arrived safely without a single scratch all the way to Australia and was easy to assemble. Very happy with it, as is my three-year-old. She loved how the shutters and windows can be opened and closed. This particular house isn't available in australia so I was chuffed to find it on Amazon even with international postage was cheaper than buying the pink Sophie Le Toy Van house locally. We bought some of the matching furniture too, the kitchen set is especially adorable with it's European style sink.

My daughter has the Loving Family Grand Dollhouse (not the Twin one) and LOVES it. We have a garden at home and I like the idea of her playing "garden", however this set is really lacking and could be so much better. The shelf baskets don't fit anywhere on the Grand Dollhouse. A previous reviewer stated that they fit on the Twin house why don't they fit on the Grand??? The only place you can hang them is on the actual garden structure, which can only hold one shelf basket at a time. The set includes two shelf baskets (and one hanging basket) so the 2nd shelf basket is always just laying around completely useless. The garden only "grows" flowers from an educational standpoint, it would be nice if it offered something like a bunch of carrots, lettuce or something food related. The hose drives me crazy b/c it never stays rolled up. Of all the pieces in this set, my daughter uses the watering can the most. I would not recommend this set . . . there are so many cuter ones available!

I actually think this set is pretty cute. The hanging baskets will hang on the front of the loving family twin time house. The flowers all come out of the baskets and hanging baskets so you can rearrange them. It has a small shovel for "planting" the flowers in the dirt. This is my favorite part. When you finish planting them (wearing the cute apron which fits the adult dolls), you can water them with either the hose or the watering can.

It also looks adorable on the small patio off of the parents' room with french doors in the twin time house. Very cute touch! I think it is a great way to introduce small children to gardening.

Basically my daughter got the Loving Family kitchen set for her birthday that she already owned, so I took that set back to Toys R Us to exchange for some other LF set. Their selection was abysmal (right after Christmas) and I didn't want to go home without a LF set to give her so I took this set (along with the African American mom and baby, which was a good buy).

This set is just kind of ... not that interesting. It might be more interesting if they included a real rabbit instead of painted on ones (the cats and dog are some of the favorite pieces of the LF dollhouse). The hose keeps on coming unrolled, and the kids don't find the flowers that interesting. They do like the apron though. The apron fits well onto the mom or grandma.

I can see why this was the only set left in the store!

This was your typical "Barbie" style doll. My grandaughter loves it. She is 5. We bought her the Enchanted Princess Castle for Christmas and since her name is Jazmine we got the Princess Jasmine doll as part of her little collection. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition just as if you would have bought it off the shelf at a toy store. Not a great discount but it was ok at the time. (Christmas present)

The doll is cute, sure, but the whole thing was A LOT smaller than I thought. It said is was a scaled down barbie, okay...sure...but It's (i think) less than half the size of a barbie, or around that. I figured it would be smaller than a regular barbie, but not nearly that much. I saw a regular scaled Erika doll at Toys R Us (not a cheap place) for only approx $13. Well...darn I just paid for something that is a lot smaller...and my daughter has not really touched since the first day she got it, when I could have gotten her a regular sized one (that also came with things).

I am disappointed and so is my five year old; she spent her own earned money on it.
