I bought this starter furniture kit for my 2 and a half year old daughter's dolls house. She LOVED it from the moment she opened the box. There are so many little pieces to explore and play with and certain things like the stove and the toilet can open and close which is great. My personal favourite is the little red and white kettle which is too cute for words.

The furniture is all made of wood and seems pretty durable, nothing has broken yet and the paint does not seem to peel although the oven door on the stove does not seem to stay closed anymore.

A very good buy for a little girl's first doll's house. I'm very pleased with it. Oh and it comes with a little wooden baby doll for the pram so you wouldn't even need to buy a baby doll along with the other dollshouse dolls you purchase.

As others reviewers mentioned, the Toysmith Doll Care Set is not exactly as pictured and it appears that each bag might contain different items. For example, the picture has bright colors and different labels than I received in our Doll Care Set. Our colors were pastel and the labels were different. That being said, it contained a lot of doll stuff in one package for a fairly cheap price. It contained two magic bottles, one with milk and one with juice. I bought two of those magic bottles for Christmas for at least $5, so for that reason alone, it's a good deal to me. It came with two bibs one fabric one and the plastic one that is pictured in purple. It came with a doll potty. It also came with a plate and spoon and fork for the doll, as well as a sippy cup. It also contained assorted rubber ducky, lotion bottle, and other containers. Overall, I think it's a good buy, but just know that's it's sort of a surprise, like a Woot bag, where you get a lot of different doll stuff in one bag, but you can't be 100% sure exactly what you'll get and what color.

I bought this for my granddaughter for her birthday and she absolutely loved it. I was quite surprised at all of the items in the set. There is everything needed to care for baby. There are 29-pcs, which include bottles, diapers, baby wipes dispenser, bottle warmer, training potty a stuffed bear for baby, a sippie cup, bib, duckie for bath, hair brush and comb, feeding spoon, pacifier, and much more.Pluse it all comes in a handy reusable zippered case with handle, easy to load everything in and take along with her. I had noticed after I ordered this item, that the picture changed often. The items weren't the same, and they were different colors, etc. When I received my order, some of the items were the same ones pictured at the time I ordered it (from Target), but lots were different, some weren't included, some other ones were, and the colors were TOTALLY different. This is a cute set, but photo is not accurate. Also, the quality isn't that great. The bottles are cool because they do unscrew and open, and the shampoo bottle pumps. The potty I received was blue and much smaller looking with no sticker as pictured as I write this review. It's okay for the price, but beware; you probably won't get what's pictured.

I'm very happy with what was in the set we ordered. It looks absolutely nothing like the photo, but I was prepared for that based on other reviews. Bottles, sippy cup, potty, dishes, a velcro diaper, bibs, booties, mittens, assorted bathing items and tiny toys. Everything fits a Fisher Price baby doll that we already have for our 2 1/2 year old. I was happy for the more muted colors, mostly blue and white, and lack of floral in the set that we got as we got this for *gasp* our little boy! He loves to take care of his stuffed animals and baby doll like he sees us take care of his baby brother. He's also potty trained, so the little potty is particularly awesome. This was the perfect set for him and he absolutely loves it. It was one of his favorite Christmas presents. He immediately started feeding his baby doll, putting it on the potty, changing his diaper, putting him to bed, giving him toys to play with, etc. Very educational and encourages his nurturing side.

UPDATE: After a month of infrequent use the bag has ripped. The thin floral fabric is tearing away from the edge along the bottom. I really don't care, since the accessories are still in great shape. And I need to get a bag that's a little more macho for my little boy. :) But just giving you all a heads up.

I ordered this for my daughter for her dolls & thought it was a good deal for all that is shown in the picture. The potty seat was a round bowl with a lip, The lotion, powder, oil bottles were all the same with the exception of different stickers on them. My 2yr old didn't notice a difference but I felt deceived by the product shown and what arrived at my door. Nothing appeared to be the same. I probably would not have bought this if I picked it up in a store.

watch her. She picks nuts from the trees. This toy is more fun that the regular littlest pet shop.

Fallon: This toy is fun and entertaining I love to see it walk around and pull a wagon and the only way to

push and spin her on the swing is to make sure she is placed firmly on the peg. I love to pull the nuts off the trees and put them down the nut slide and they land in her room.

Note: This is a very popular toy in our house. The girls collect littlest pet shop characters, and they play with them all the time. The new walkable figures were eagerly awaited, and the playset provides hours of fun. Fallon has a very vivid imagination, and she creates elaborate scenarios with her little sister. This is an excellent toy to help her creativity. They actually make little videos using the littlest pet shop bobble heads, and tell whole stories about them.

This is a delightful addition to the regular Littlest Pet Shop menagerie.

My girls, 4 and 6, love the Pet Shop Treehouse. It is roomy enough for both sets of hands and has a lot of neat parts to it, like an "acorn chute", an elevator in one of the trees, a see-saw and a tire swing. My complaint is the treehouse comes with only one pet. For the price (which is a bit high), there should be at least two. If you do not have any other animals, you'll have to buy more, or it really won't be too much fun.

My 3 year old daughter chose this toy as her reward for giving up pacifiers. She's been collecting the LPS pets for a little while, and I suppose the idea of a home for her pets sparked her imagination.

Since we got it both her and her twin brother have enjoyed playing with it quite a lot. It's sturdy, and interesting, with plenty of different areas and room for creative storytelling and play. They also both use My Little Pony FIM ponies and their pets in the tree house, and while they aren't quite a perfect fit, it's a bit what you might expect were a real pony to visit a tree house.

Pros:

Bright colors

Lots of stations to play at

Two children can play at once

Lots of moving parts

The chipmunk that is included is adorable (my son loves the chipmunk)

Included accessories are a pet bed and wagon, and both are cute

The "acorn drop" portion of it is strangely interesting to every kid that has encountered it

Con:

A lot of the colors are in the "girl ghetto" of colors, pink, purple and yellow. I love these colors, but feel overwhelmed with how over represented they are in toys that are targeted at girls

Lots of moving parts means lots of parts that come off. The hammock falls off fairly easily, as does the tire swing

Though there are over 20 holes for acorns, only around 8 actual acorns are included

Using a walkable on the wheel that runs the elevator does not actually make the elevator run, the elevator has to be cranked with the wheel

While this is a large toy, it is fairly narrow, so moving pets from area to area isn't all that doable other than by taking them out and moving them

The included walkable chipmunk might be a bit much for children who do not like automaton toys (my daughter is scared to death of it, and I had to take the batteries out, which made my son unhappy*)

Even correct LPPs do not necessarily fit very well in the pegs at the stations. It would almost be better to simply not have the pegs there, as they then impede anything fitting in the various spots

Overall a very nice toy, with some persnickety parts. The children never play at it for hours as with building blocks, crayons, or even cars, but it is much beloved nevertheless.

*I at first tried to simply wind down the batteries by setting it up on it's side and letting it run. Two days later it still wasn't wound down. That is some major going power.

Since this playset comes with plenty of features and is quite large (almost 2 feet long--two children can easily play with this together), you'll want more pets to join the party. This set includes several interactive "stations" on which to perch or position the pets, and the eight detachable acorns are a fun addition.

Summary: This is a nice choice if your child already has some Littlest Pet Shop toys. If not, spend a few bucks and get a pack of pets to maximize fun with this set.

BONUS: Unlike previous LPS sets we have purchased, this Treehouse Playset came in frustration-free packaging, at least compared to 2010's offerings which required razor-sharp shears and heavy-duty gloves to open.

My three year old son wanted to be Doc McStuffins for Halloween this year. When we found the doctor kit on line, I was excited....a costume AND toy all in one. A win-win situation for Mommy!

When the doctor kit arrived, the whole family received "check-ups." The problem came that night when he tried to put all of his doctor equipment into the doctor bag. He couldn't get it all in, and I had a hard time making it all fit. As a toy for a small child, the doctor bag is TOO SMALL.

To add to the problem, he also has The Big Book of Boo Boos, which he understandably wants to carry in the doctor bag. Impossible. It has turned into a daily battle trying to explain to him why everything does not fit in the doctor bag. A doctor bag that was a couple of inches bigger would have made ALL the difference.

My daughter LOVES Doc McStuffins so of course i had to get her the bag with doc's tools. She just turned 3 and she absolutely love the toy except for one thing...the bag wont close. I think I read another review where others were experiencing the same issue. Even though the opening of the bag is narrow, all the tools fit inside. The biggest issue is that whether empty or full the bag won't stay closed.

Also, if you still decide to but buy this product, don't by on Amazon. It's only $15 at Toys R us. Amazon usually has great deals but this isn't one of them.

Needless to say my daughter loves it so I wont be returning it but for Christmas we will be buying her a different doc set where the tools actually work and the bag actually closes.

You can see in the video that just picking up the bag it opens.

I bought this Cabbage Patch Doll for my niece and my friend's daughter, who are 2 1/2-3 years old (one was a birthday and the other a Christmas gift), and they loved it. The gender surprise is cute and both girls couldn't wait to open the packaging to find out what they had. Then they spent most of the day putting on and taking off the cute little cabbage leaf it comes wrapped in. This doll comes with the same delightful characteristcs of all Cabbage Patch Dolls-cute names, adoption certificates and overall physical characteristics. I was looking for a soft-bodied doll and this was perfect; the bonus was the petite size of the doll which was perfect for their age group. This will stay on my list as a go-to gift for kids.

I still have my cabbage patch kid from when I was little, it is almost as big as my daughter and it is not easy for her to play with, she has a hard time moving it around. My daughter (16 months old) got this newborn for Christmas, and oh my she barely puts it down. Its the perfect size for her to carry around, pretend to feed, and gives it hugs and kisses, its so cute. The doll comes with a baby bottle, the cute cabbage leaf swaddler and then a little onesie that is either pink or blue and the diaper is either pink or blue depends on if the doll is a boy or girl, also the birth certificate, we ended up with a little boy, but since its a baby doll we are pretending its a girl. She is too little to enjoy the "surprise" factor. So I have purchased some generic clothes for the doll from target and also am making some clothes for it. She enjoys the doll having different clothes, and it can get ready for bed or get dressed for the day just like her.

Now for durability I didn't give it full marks because some of the thread holding the dolls shape has come out, easy fix, but its not holding up to the abuse of a toddler, she also dropped the doll out of her wagon and its scuffed its nose on the pavement. (we usually keep her toys tethered to the belt strap so she can't get excited and throw her toys, and we learned our lesson by not doing so for the doll) The body is also fabric, so the velcro of the outfits that my daughter likes to undue and try to fasten back is catching on the doll's back and is balling up the fabric. The tread is easy to fix, the balling easy to clean up, the nose she will just have to live with a scratched nose. Over all I recommend this product, its great fun. My daughter loves it so much.

My daughter got this doll when she was a year old. It was perfect for her because the clothes and accessories don't come off, so they don't get lost. The clothes can't be removed, the pacifier "clip" is sewn into the baby, and the headband is attached and doesn't come off. I loved that my girl couldn't lose everything that makes this doll so cute and fun. Now that she is three, I sometimes wish we could change her clothes, but we just put baby doll clothes on top of this outfit and that works fine. She has been a very durable doll and very easy to take care of. I recommend this doll for any little toddler! (In fact, I think she's much more durable that the AG Bitty Baby, whose head and limbs can sometimes pop off yikes! And this doll is so much more affordable to start with!)

Little Pullip Froggy Doll Review

The product description is a little lacking, but I'm sure those who know the Pullip line of dolls know what they're looking at.

For those who don't:

Basically, this doll stands at about 4.9 inches tall, very small (just think about as big as soda can).

Therefore, it's not suggested for small children unless you know for sure the child can handle it.

The box label even says it's for individuals 15 years and older, as it is intended for adult collectors.

[The Pullip line does have "full-sized" dolls that stand at about 12 inches tall, but those are considerably more expensive.]

This doll has limited articulation (points of mobility). So, if you're looking for something like an inexpensive ball-jointed doll, this isn't quite it. But, it's still part of an adorable collectible series of mini fashion dolls.

Comes with a doll stand & a button pin with it's picture on it. Also, you can make clothing for the doll, as the outfit is removable. Such a sweet face too, but you can't really do anything about face-ups (make up for the doll) since it's such a delicate item.
