My daughter picked this out off the Amazon website and has been enthralled with it ever since she removed it from its package. I have to admit it is a very cute doll. The dress is not in the traditional style but the sparkles make little girls swoon. The only thing I do not like is the starchy glue like substance they put in her hair. The kids will never be able to brush that hair.

I found this doll to be cheaply made. The legs and arms feel cheap and don't move very easily. The legs are always twisting themselves around. The hair feels weird. The shoes had to be glued on because my 4 year old kept getting so annoyed that they were always falling off. BUT she seems to like it a lot now that the shoes are on for good. If she were older and wanted to play with the hair or move the limbs around more I think she wouldn't like it as much.

We just got this for our three-year old daughter it's very cute! It will do double duty as her room is not large enough for both a dollhouse and bookcase.

My husband put it together in about 45 minutes, it went together easily and the directions were pretty straightforward. The colors are great, not too pastel but not too bright either. The size is good in that it holds a lot of books.

As a dollhouse, there is one word of warning. It is not large enough for the larger twelve-inch (Barbie) sized dolls. The furniture might fit, but the shelves aren't high enough for the dolls to fit. We're using it as a more miniature dollhouse instead.

KidKraft Dollhouse Bookcase I purchased this dollhouse/bookcase for my Grandaughters (Ages 2&4) It has increased their imagination skills and their attention spans. Loved the pastel colors and overall construction.I personalized it by painting Catalina and Della's Cottage on the roof. The only problems were the visual instructions were not clear and it was a time consuming project. Suggestion: When attaching bottom purple strip to the side frames, glue the dowels before inserting to sides. Do Not drag on carpeting. Overall it is a great alternative and safer for small children rather than those flimsy, plastic dollhouses that are in the toy stores. Also the shipping and delivery time was fast.

I ordered this bookcase/dollhouse for my 2 year old grand daughter. It is a big hit with her. The bookcase is very solid and goes together very easily. The pictures for instruction on assembly tell the story; pay close attention to the photos and you will not have any trouble determining which part fits where. Even the numbers on the pieces match with the instructions, so check that too. Use a battery powered screw driver. NOT a drill!! just one of those $10 black and decker type screwdrivers. Assemble this on a table top and you won't have any troubles. I used a card table in the garage and it worked perfect for assembly. Do not over tighten any of the hardware either. It took me 45 minutes to assemble and that's with grandma taking photos too!

my daughter (who is 4) loves this. She keeps her dolls and miscellaneous toys on it. It's sturdy and nearly as tall as her. I think it would also make a fun dollhouse as well as bookshelf, and for the price I paid for it, it's cheaper than a lot of other bookshelves and dollhouses. Great item!

I researched several house-type bookcases for my daughter and ended up getting this one for her 2nd birthday. I put it together myself in about 1-2 hours. It was NOT hard to do and we all LOVE this bookcase. I like that the hinges don't slam close and pinch her fingers. She's not really tall enough to use the top lid yet, but I like to store things there. The shelves are a great size for almost all of our books except the very tallest 2-3. She really enjoys opening and closing the bottom door and putting things in there. I thought we'd use some of it for a dollhouse as well, but now realize we have WAY TOO MANY BOOKS to do that! But that's a good problem to have! It was pretty smelly (off-gassing) for the first few days, so I recommend doing what we did and leave the pieces in the garage for a few days before or just after assembling it. Great bookcase and a great price.

This doll coat is really nice! It is made well and too cute to handle! The scarf is also really adorable and great quality. The jacket doesn't actually button, but is closed with velcro, which I actually think is better for my 5 year old. Can't beat it for the price!

My child loves this doll, but the main problem in my opinion is the quality and the length of doll's hair, which are too long, plus quality is not the best one, and obviously that is the main reason why they have changed from sleek ones into tangled ones just in first couple of days, and wings also bunch all the time in dolls hair.

I bought these for my son when he was 1 1/2 and he loves them. He has named the dolls (Mommy, Daddy, himself and his best friend). It is so much fun to watch him roll play with them. We build houses out of his blocks and the fun never ends for him. It is nice that they can stand and sit and it didn't take him too long to figure out how to change them from the standing to sitting positions all by himself. He is now over two years old and he has not gotten tired of playing with these dolls.

These little wooden people are the perfect size for little hands! They can stand or sit. My son uses them with his train set toys or the Plan parking garage or even sets them on his wooden horse. He has enjoyed them for over a year. Some have mistakenly weathered the washing machine or were found swimming with the fishes, but aside from some of the faded paint are still in great useable shape!

I will admit I love playing with these more than my 3 year old does, but they are just so cute and I love how you swivel them around to change from sitting to standing. They are the perfect size and the feel of the wood is really nice. We have the Plan Toys castle blocks and these family guys like to populate the castle when the princess isn't looking. :)

I'm surprised my daughter doesn't love these more, but since this is MY review, I will leave it at 5 stars and she can write her own (ha). No, they really are so cute she just has too many toys! :)

My daughter paid for this toy with her own money which makes what i found out awful.First off i want to say that this is a great toy my daughter loves it just got it today i even played a few games myself.It's simple to use and the games are fun. But when the software was done uploading and took us to the website we found out that this product is being discontinued and that the website will be shut down on 1-1-09.My problem with this is that if your going to discontinue a product and shut down the site then you need to stop selling the product altogether.So if you are thinking about buying this for a someone for christmas that child will have less than 2 weeks to use this toy.Every store that sells this toy has it on sale and now i know why.Hasbro is trying to get as much money as they can out of this toy.As i said this is a fun toy so if you don't mind spending a few bucks on a toy with limited play time then it's a good buy.I told my daughter about the site and she was sad but said she loved the games and wanted to keep it.

Upon first receiving this doll, my 3-year-old, seemed to be very excited. She had been asking for a Barbie, so her grandmother bought her one for Christmas. This was her first Barbie ever! Unfortunately, she had it less than a week and the legs fell off. She was definitely not rough with it. I had several Barbie's growing up and none of them ever lost any appendages. It is disappointing that this toy was such poor quailty.

I absolutely love this doll. I searched high and low to find an ethnically realistic doll for my daughter. American Girls dolls have different skin tones but all of the facial features are the same and they are very pricey. This doll has beautifully detailed features that are undoubtedly African. And her hair is so sweet and real looking. My 4 year old daughter opened her on Christmas morning and screamed! This has since become her favorite doll. She sleeps with her and has a baby carrier and takes her everywhere. People stop us all of the time to comment on how beautiful the doll is or ask us where we got it. The only con that I could note is that the doll does not come with clothes. She comes in a white tank top and white underwear. A friend of mine hand knitted a couple of outfits for her. There is no beating the excelent craftsman ship and price on this doll, it really is an amazing deal. I would whole heartedly recommend this doll to anyone and everyone! I am now planning to buy the Asian and Hispanic dolls.

As a side note, I am caucasian. I am a single mother to 2 caucasian children. I got this doll because I want my children to appreciate the beauty of diversity and be comfortable and accepting of all races. This doll promotes unity and acceptance. By the way, I thought my daughter or my son would ask me about her skin color or at least comment on it. They never did. She was opened and imediately loved and completely accepted by my children.

This 2009 Pink Label Barbie is absolutely stunning. The Kentucky Derby Barbie wears a flirty, flowery sun dress and oversized white brimmed hat. Derby hats are a fashion necessity at the races and Barbie's hat is no exception. It features a delicate multicolored trio of roses. Her other accessories include race tickets, a faux pearl necklace, and tan high-heeled spring sandals. Barbie's face and makeup are also gorgeous. This doll has a new face sculpt which is also featured on Barbie Basics Model #007 and AphroditeBarbie Exclusive 2009 GOLD Fantasy Series APHRODITE. She is one of my favorite dolls from the 2009 Collector Line, and I tend to believe that others agree since this doll sold out quite quickly from the Mattel website.

This doll is really interesting my 7 year old LOVES it and has both versions. When you push the button on her leg, a 'blade' in the back rotates and as it does, creates wings made out of lights. The lights are programmed so that the wings appear to be flapping and moving around, opening and closing. It's something that is hard to explain in writing but very interesting when seen. Of all the electronic wings Barbies, this was definitely the best concept. The only downside is that when the wings aren't spinning, there is the 'blade' left in the back rather than wings. I would have liked it better if the blade had been encased between transparent filament wings so that she was pretty when the blade wasn't whirring and creating her light-based fluttering wings.

The outfit she is wearing is nice, as is her hair and styling. Note that the legs and arms do not bend so she is a standing/flying doll only. But in my opinion, something original and different and well worth the price for a little girl who loves fairies.

In theory this doll is cute. You push the button and the lights spin giving the illusion of wings fluttering. However, peice that spins on her back is kind of hard and spins so fast that it hurts if you put your finger in it, kind of like sticking your finger into a spinning fan! I finally had to take it away from my 5 year old when it actually cut her finger! Too bad because it is kind of neat, but it just wasn't safe.
