Discount Bratz Costume Bash Doll - Jade
While her costume is really unique and cute is kind of weird this is a Halloween line should be more of a Christmas line what stands out is her hair which is pretty decent length but is nylon which sucks if you want to undo her hair but not that bad of you do choose to undo it She is great for play or display I didn't regret my purchase

Reviews of Alex Jr. Cuddly Kids, Lexi the Girl
Baby loves to play with Lexi's "hair" and smiles big whenever Lexi comes into view. Great for development of dexterity as well as just plain fun for baby to hug and squeeze. Still looks like new after a couple of washes in machine on delicate cycle; each time hanged to dry. Baby loves the boy doll Alex too.
a big hit: i recommend this or the box version of it for a newborn/ shower gift. It is so well made.

Lalaloopsy Littles - Matey Anchors Review
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $16.99
Sale Price: $15.79
Today's Bonus: 7% Off

My daughter has recently started collecting Lala's and her 4.5 year old cousin also collects them. My niece and daughter are very close, and when my niece received her very first Little Loopsy (Specs) my daughter wanted one as well. What a perfect choice for her first Little! I have 2 kids and so my daughter only has a little brother. I thought that it was so cool that she would get a Little Brother Lalaloopsy. He is the only boy out of the group and SUPER cute! He is the little brother of Marina Anchors, who we are currently planning on purchasing. He is a little sailor and wears a one piece "romper" with red and white stripes on top and white shorts on bottom with little gold "button" embellishments. What I love about Lalaloopsies is the detail. Yeah, they're a little pricey when it comes to some other toys, but the quality and novelty is worth the extra cash. This little guy has removeable "boat shoes" and a little blue handkerchief around his neck that can be removeable. The only problem I had with this doll was that I couldn't at first figure out his tiny little sailor hat. It has elastic on it, but the elastic was so tight that I couldn't figure out what to attatch it to and thought it would have been a better idea to make it actually attatched to the head like some of the bows and such on the girls. I finally got the hat elastic over his head and because of the tightness of the band, it seems to be staying on his head pretty well. Altogether, we love this Little Lalaloopsie brother and I am glad he was her first Little. SEW CUTE!!!!
Doll arrived quickly & packaged perfectly. I'm very pleased. :)

My daughter is obsessed with lalaloopsy dolls and her little brother keeps asking for one. I purchased Matey Anchors for him and can't wait to give it to him for his birthday. This was my first Littles purchase and I'm sure I'll be buying more. It will be a perfect match as big sister has Marina Anchors and with Matey being the only boy little it was perfect to give to her little brother. Whenever we visit the toy aisle of stores and he sees Matey he asks for him. I really wish there were more boy lalalooopsy dolls available as I'm sure my son and daughter would have extensive collections.Best Deals for Lalaloopsy Littles - Matey Anchors

I bought this for my son to give to his big sister for her birthday. She already has the Marina Anchors doll, so when I saw the little brother I thought that would be so perfect. She is a fairly new big sister (her brother is 1) & she is very proud of it. She loves her baby brother, so I know that she will love the fact that her doll will also have a baby brother. :)Doll arrived quickly & packaged perfectly. I'm very pleased. :)

My daughter received the Flynn Rider doll for her 6th birthday this morning, and less than an hour out of the box his legs fell off! All my daughter did was hold him by his waist and pretend he was swinging off Rapunzels hair when both legs came off. Upon inspecting the doll, I found Mattel has very CHEAPLY manufactured this guy by attaching his legs to the torso via a rather flimsy elastic cord. If it breaks (which it did rather easily) the legs will NOT remain attached to his body! I had these types of dolls as a child and my daughter has just about every Barbie and Disney Princess imagineable and none have this sort of design. If their legs come off you just pop them back in. I wouldn't buy this doll unless Mattel fixes this problem. Fortunately we were able to exchange the broken one w/out a receipt, but I shouldn't have to tell my daughter to be "very careful" when playing with a plastic doll! Don't buy this thing and let Mattel get away with such cheap manufacturing!
Thin elastic cord broke and both legs fell off. I've reattached with a rubber band. Very poor mfg.
Would NOT recommend this doll.

While Mattel has used a thin cord to attach Flynn's legs to his hips, parents can correct this with a thicker elasticsimply loop the elastic through the notches in his hips and though his waist and pass the cord back through the waist piece and tie off: Suggested procedurego through one hip, through the waist, through the other hip and then Back through the waist and then pull the elastic tight and tie off. Hopefully this will help. Often times our own parents repaired our toys because we played roughly with them; some things never seem to change.Honest reviews on Disney Tangled Featuring Rapunzel Flynn Rider Fashion Doll
The legs on this doll started to come off on day one. My girls had only put him into a sitting position and they start to pop off. Two weeks later he cannot be played with at all because his legs won't stay in. From the other reviews it seems that this doll is defective.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Disney Tangled Featuring Rapunzel Flynn Rider Fashion Doll
We received this last night and the lags came out of the sockets when my daughter was playing with him on the way home. The kids love him, but I have to fix his legs every few min. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before the elastic breaks all together. If that happens I could try to fix it with new elastic, but who knows if I will be successful and won't keep them from continuing to pop out. I found out Disney makes a better one with higher quality clothes and accessories plus a crown for your little girl and his legs don't fall off! It is $29 on Amazon, so we are returning this one a spending a little more for one that doesn't need put back together every few min. and it received way better reviews.Thursday, October 9, 2014
Reviews of Fijit Friends Yippits Patter Figure (Pink)
Customer Ratings:
List Price: $39.99
Sale Price: $9.75
Today's Bonus: 76% Off

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I've never quite understood the Fijit toys. I first saw them last year and didn't know what to make of it. A cute, colorful robot that makes semi-painful robotic sounds and gyrates? Now, this year, the Yippits have come out, and I'm in the same spot all over again. I think what bugs me the most about this toy is that the age range is supposed to be for kids 6-12. I can't think of many kids over the age of 6 or 7 that would get much out of these guys, unless they just plain like cute robots. The Yippits toys don't do a whole lot, and what you can do is more like a cute version of Bop It or Simon.
Patter here has a couple of different modes to play with. First there's the random mode, you get by pressing the left button on her head. She'll make random sounds and her eyes will light up. Patter can also perform tricks based on how many times you clap your hands. You have to pay attention to her mouth though, as it lights up with each clap that it recognizes. Clap 3 times and Patter will play music and dance around. Clap 5 times and she'll make one quick sound that's supposed to be begging. Yeah, not too exciting so far huh? But when you press and hold the right button on the top of her head, the little robo-dog will play another music track that you're supposed to clap along to the beat with.
The last two modes are pattern-based. Press and hold both buttons on Patter's head to get her in the game mode, then press either button to select which one you want. Pressing the left button gets you a game where you're supposed to copy what Patter does. If her right eye lights up, press the right button. If her mouth lights up, clap. As the game goes on she'll want you to go in longer patterns like pressing both buttons at the same time, clapping, pressing another button once, etc. The other game isn't any better.
Basically you're getting a spruced up version of Simon and Bop It here, just in a cute little robot dog package. Personally, I feel like they're asking way too much for this thing, especially considering that the new Furby, which does way more, is around the same price. Why not just spend a few more bucks and go for that instead? The Yippits are well-made and durable, but it seems like they should be doing more than just a few tricks and playing a quick pattern game. If you can get a good deal on this toy, and your child is REALLY into it, then go for it. If it's one of those things they're just mildly interested in, just pass.
Overall I think it was good value for money.

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program What a strange little toy. It sings...well sort of... not in human speak anyway.... LOL..but it does dance and move around and appears to have some basic learning programming...the grandkiddie enjoys it and goes the giggling thing...and since the toy was for her...mission accomplished. The toy reminds of those little furry things that came out years ago only better. The price is reasonable in relation to the technology...and to tell you the truth.. its a blast watching the little one clapping and talking the Fijit.Honest reviews on Fijit Friends Yippits Patter Figure (Pink)

I bought this car for my 7 year old for Christmas 2011. Unfortunately she didn't get to play with it until almost February. The first car she opened didn't work at all. The customer service to trouble shoot it wasn't any help either. I returned it a week later. The new car runs but the doors are constantly falling off. The distance for the signal isn't great either when it goes behind the kitchen island or couch it stops running. It also eats batteries like crazy; I think the most she's gotten out of a set is a few hours. I wouldn't recommend buying this; go for a brand name remote car that you can rely on to be quality built.

Best Polly Pocket Tropical Splash Adventure Boat Deals
My daughter loves playing with this toy in the bathtub with her other Polly Pockets. It is cute and best of all the boat floats in the water. Great price on a fun toy.
They put styrofoam in the bottom to make it float but only put it on one side of the boat so it leans to one side. They didn't put enough of it in the bottom either. DON'T BUY IF YOU WANT IT FOR THE BATHTUB !!

I purchased this for Christmas because my 7yr old daughter loves Polly's & she loves to play in the bathtub. The very 1st time she was so excited that Polly Pocket had a boat & it went into the bath but ended up completely upset it didn't work like it should. It floats somewhat but sinks way too easy.It sinks without anything even in the boat when you move it ever so slightly,it fills with water. They put styrofoam in the bottom to make it float but only put it on one side of the boat so it leans to one side. They didn't put enough of it in the bottom either. DON'T BUY IF YOU WANT IT FOR THE BATHTUB !!

It doesn't really float. It leans to the side and can even capsize. There are lots of holes to let the water out, it's just that the water gets in so easily. It is not weighty enough to hold an extra polly pocket on the swing in the miniature plastic piece you can use to hold one in. These are mommy's cons. The pros are that the boat has wheels on it, so it's pretty fun outside of the water.Honest reviews on Polly Pocket Tropical Splash Adventure Boat

was so surprised and excited to see that amazon was one of the first places to get the my little pony equestria girls dolls my daughter loves mlp and was s excited over this release these dolls are great for lil girls my five year old loves them as these don't have tiny shoes the feet I mean boots come off to swap them with the other dolls and the top is molded on so when you take the skirt off as my daughter says she has a swimsuit on very cute and age friendly for a five year old love them thank you Hasbro and amazon for another great steal :) I also ordered pinkie pie fluttershy and rainbow dash through amazon
It's worth noting these dolls look *NOTHING* like the characters from the "Equestria Girls" movie. They look more like a product of weird MLP Furry fanfic instead. Some kids won't care about this, but many will notice it as soon as they see them and find that disappointing. Their quality is a mixed bag. The faces are painted beautifully with glossy paint and glitter. I'm not a big fan of heavy makeup on dolls, but Hasbro made their faces are a mixture of fancy but tasteful and cute. The styles of clothing are cute, too. The dresses/skirts tend to be a bit short, but they are girly enough that it is cute.
However, the quality really stops there. The actual quality of the clothing is a nightmare! It is cheap and poorly-made. A lot of the dolls' clothes aren't hemmed on the bottom. The seams on some of the clothes are starting to fall apart in the box. It's a shame Hasbro had to be so cheap as they already got around the clothing costs by making a lot of the dolls' tops painted on the body.
This wouldn't be a biggie as fashion doll clothes can be exchanged with other brands or hand-made by a talented child/parent/collector. However, any creativity on making future clothes is limited by the shoes. They are part of the feet. As a parent and toy collector, this trend really bothers me to begin with. It is really gross and creepy taking off the shoes on the footless dolls. It also sends the really negative messege to girls that shoes are more important than feet. Yuck! As a parent, I find this very impractical and wasteful as shoe/feet can be easily lost and you end up with a doll who forever looks like an amputee--a lovely marketing technique to force you to buy future (cheaply-made) outfits to obtain more "feet." If you are a parent worried about this, it may be a good time to break out the super-glue. Come on, Hasbro--these girls were PONIES. They need their feet. At least make them into hooves.
The bodies on the Equestria Girls in the smaller packages are very cheap. The legs are stiff plastic. Only the ones in the deluxe fashion sets bends at the knee (the more expensively-priced Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy). I never understood how toy companies could make dolls like this as it seems to be a safety hazard, but it's also low-quality. They are also not as fun to play with. A few Barbies have legs like that, but they are either dolls either for tub play (so they don't mildew) or ones that are marked well into the $5-7 range--which tells me Hasbro is trying to cut corners every way possible to make a buck and the Equestria Girls are ridiculously over-priced.
Finally, we get to the hair. The plugs in the front of most of the dolls (except Twilight Sparkle) are tight and close together, but the plugs past that are *very* sparse. The hair is typical pony hair--and it's probably a good thing it's sparse for that reason as it will knot quickly. Okay for ponies (because of the way it's lined up), but a pain to brush out on a fashion doll. Not at all the quality you'd see in a Barbie.
All-in-all, I don't think I'd purchase this doll if I saw it in the store--just Rainbow Dash and maybe Fluttershy as the deluxe style sets are a little better made. I discourage fellow parents and toy collectors from spending any less than retail on it (if even that). This toy is maybe worth ten clams--at the most. Barbie dolls that are similar (hard legs, painted on tops--but almost always better hair) cost even less than that, and the Monster dolls (Monster High, Bratzillas) are better quality and can be grabbed for that much when they are on sale.

Twilight Sparkle so far is my least favorite of the bunch. Like her pony counterpart--Hasbro has a very hard time matching the color of her head with her body. On a fashion doll, this is especially strange-looking and noticable---it's like she has a weird tan line. Like the rest of the dolls from the non-deluxe sets, her hair is super sparse. You can see her scalp easily through her bangs. She is not worth retail price (for reasons listed below). Maybe ten clams. It's worth noting these dolls look *NOTHING* like the characters from the "Equestria Girls" movie. They look more like a product of weird MLP Furry fanfic instead. I thought it was a fluke until today when I brought my girls to toys r us to spend their birthday $$. Both girls wanted another equestria girl. Not even ten minutes after opening princess celestia her leg came off. I am so disapointed with this toy and my girls r crushed that the toys keep breaking. I am returning both tomorrow.Monday, September 22, 2014

This is by far the best of the three doll trunks I purchased. It is well constructed plus this truck is a little taller than the others, so the clothes don't hit the shelf below the dresses and get wrinkled. It is also a little wider so it holds a few more outfits, but the best thing about it is three roomy storage drawers---much more storage than the other two trunks I spoke of. I highly recommend this trunk!Best Deals for Canvas Doll Trunk Fits American Girl Doll, Bitty Baby and My Twin

This box is sturdy and constructed well. I don't care too much for the cardboard storage in it, but it works well or it may have been too heavy. I highly recommend a this storage trunk for any 18" doll you want to protect or travel with.Thursday, September 11, 2014

Let me just start by saying I absolutely adore this doll it's one of the most beautiful reproductions I have ever seen. The doll's face paint is perfect, the outfit and swimsuit are exactly as pictured. Just lovely. As an added charm, Mattel actually didn't shellac the doll's hair into its usual frozen helmet. The hair is actually SOFT, can you believe it? Wow!
The downside? There are several: Once again, Mattel has stapled and fastened this doll to death. Four plastic staples in the head, alone. And it's impossible to cut them down flat without harming the hairdo. Why is it necessary to keep anchoring the collectible dolls' heads to the cardboard, at all? What is the point? Every Barbie collectible l doll I own has sharp plastic points sticking through her hair and you can never enjoy combing or touching it. Seriously, do Barbie heads really require multiple anchors to maintain their display position? Also, there is so much plastic piercing the clothes and poking holes in the legs that removing the doll from the cardboard takes an eternity. And quite wasteful packaging, btw.
Finally, the doll stand, itself, is not the proper height for this Barbie. You have to slide the waist grip all the way to the very top of the stand in order to keep the doll upright, and it keeps slipping off.
Still, this is in no way the fault of the doll, herself. And her loveliness makes up for all my complaints.
I am in full agreement with the other reviewer regarding the packaging. It's frustrating, and complete overkill. What is with stapling the head to the box? I can't stand it. And although my doll did not have the heavy shellac on her hair like I've had with their other reproductions, mine still had this weird oily residue. I was able to get it clean but still, this was not necessary. Mattel, can you please just leave the hair alone so we collectors can enjoy it? No staples, no hair gunk.
That being said, I am really looking forward to what else Mattel has in mind for their collector series. Barring the packaging and hair treatment annoyances these dolls are a lovely addition to my collection.
For those of us who cannot, yet, afford true Vintage American Girl Barbies (the most costly of the vintage Barbies of the same years) the reproductions allow us to enjoy their beauty, and this collector is pleased to have one of her own! Note: I have my eye on a second American Girl repro, with Titan hair, titled Fashion Luncheon...
This is American Girl Barbie really is quite lovely. She has such sophistication to her. I especially appreciate the fine detailing and construction of her clothing. I didn't have that luxury of nice Barbie clothes when I was a kid! As other reviewers have noted, the stand doesn't measure up. You can still stand her up but her feet sort of dangle off the edge of the platform.
I'd recommend this set to any Barbie fan!

Mattel gets an A from me on reproducing this doll. She's beautiful, with lovely facial color and gorgeous hair. She looks fabulous in Matinee Fashion (yes, I remove them from the box). I was too young for this version of Barbie when she first came out, but I leaped at the chance to buy the reproduction. She's a lovely addition to my collection.I am in full agreement with the other reviewer regarding the packaging. It's frustrating, and complete overkill. What is with stapling the head to the box? As previously put forth by the other two reviewers...THIS DOLL IS BEAUTIFUL. I am an adult (born the same year Barbie was created) Vintage Barbie collector operating on a working woman's budget. This is my first (and so far only) American Girl Barbie. The authentic vintage American Girl Barbies are beyond my financial reach. This lovely reproduction, purchased for about $30, is financially feasable, and simply adored. I purchased mine from an Amazon vendor, "new without box". She also came minus the stand but that does not detract from her beauty. Her hair is not laquered in place but does have that oily residue described by another reviewer. I have not tried to wash it out for fear of damaging her.For those of us who cannot, yet, afford true Vintage American Girl Barbies (the most costly of the vintage Barbies of the same years) the reproductions allow us to enjoy their beauty, and this collector is pleased to have one of her own! I grew up in the late 80s/early 90s but was always fascinated by vintage Barbie. In 1996, I got my first repro Barbie (enchanted evening). Fast forward many years later, and I discovered Mattel had made many more vintage reproductions! This is American Girl Barbie really is quite lovely. She has such sophistication to her. My granddaughters loved the fanciful dragonfly. It was a favorite that had to be shared by all. Made well and bright colors. I recommend it for little ones.Best Deals for Manhattan Toy Groovy Girls Drusilla Dragonfly from Manhattan Toy
I purchased this as a gift for my 5 year old daughter who collects groovy girls dolls.it was with a groovy girls fairy that rides on it (purchased separately) . She loves it so much and uses it to fly all her dolls to destinations around the house:) like all groovy girl items it is plush and soft with the exception of the seat which is firmer so the dolls can sit.there is a strap to hold the doll to the dragonfly however imagination will be required in play because the doll will not stay in her seat during flight lol. Overall a great product that my little even likes to sleep with and i allow it cuz its very plush:)Honest reviews on Manhattan Toy Groovy Girls Drusilla Dragonfly from Manhattan Toy

Yes, my bad I ordered based off of the picture (a fairy groovy girl). It is not a fairy, but her pet dragonfly that is for sale. Upset with myself and Amazon for the misleading picture.Thursday, August 21, 2014
Best Hollywood Legends Collection Barbie As Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Deals
My daughter fell in love with Audry Hepburn, primarily by watching "My Fair Lady", on television and at the theatre. She asked Santa for an Audrey Hepburn doll. Who would have thought he would come through with the perfect gift? The doll is perfect and the process was simple. She may be a believer forever.

Zapf Baby Born Mommy Look I Can Swim Reviews
This doll can swim like you can see in my attached video but it doesn't swim like in the commercial video even I followed the instruction before making the video. Before buying this doll, I watched a video of a swimming doll which can swim very well. I thought it's the same. But today I reviewed that video on youtube & saw that doll has short hair while this one has long hair. This doll is cutter but doesn't swim as well as the other. Still it's much much better than the "Disney Princess Swimming Ariel Doll" I bought last month.
As I'm the 1st review on Amazon for this product, I don't know if there are other tricks that can make this doll swim like in the commercial, so I'll be back to check the next buyers' reviews & learn from their experience.

Got this for my daughter's 6th birthday from an ad she saw on TV. Absolutely love it. It is so cute and works fantastically. I'm always amazed by how much toys have evolved since I was a kid. I would have loved to have a doll that swam. It's perfect for us. I don't know about longevity but it does what we were hoping. So fun!Best Deals for Zapf Baby Born Mommy Look I Can Swim
The first time in the pool the doll worked pretty well as advertised. She could swim the length of a 40 ft pool. The doll was handled delicately, because we had read other reviews saying it did not swim properly. We read and followed the directions which came with the doll. We took the batteries out after this first use and dried the compartment to prevent any problems with the batteries/corrosion. The next time, and subsequent times we played with the doll in the pool she swam less and less well. She tends to lean to one side and no longer swims straight ahead. Still fun to play with as a doll, but not as good it could be. We were very careful with her, and still take care of her drying her after each outing and taking out the batteries.Honest reviews on Zapf Baby Born Mommy Look I Can Swim
Waste of money. Worked for one day and then stopped working. You can't turn it off, once it starts. My little girl was very sad when it stopped working. But we have learned. No more Chinese made garbage in our house.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Zapf Baby Born Mommy Look I Can Swim
Returned the first one because it would run all the time even out of water unless you removed the batteries. Second one did the same. Really is annoying to remove the batteries when not in the water.
