I gave this Barbie to my 7 year old grandaughter for her birthday. She absolutely loved it. She is very much a girly girl and I think the reason she did love this doll so much is that she can style the Barbie's hair, and then style her own hair with all the accessories. Big hit!

My daughter received this for Christmas. She loves being able to change the doll's hair and clipping the extensions in her own hair. I am happy with the quality but now realize I paid much more for it than I should have. I saw a newer version of this doll at K-Mart for much less. It was after Christmas so I couldn't do anything about it.

A cousin had this doll for her daughter who was also teething. The doll's face is a washcloth terry material. My daughter loves it. She also enjoys the taggy top hair and the braids to grab and pull. Anyone with a four month to eight month old daughter will love this doll. It's a must have on the road because she holds onto it and even if she teeths it remains dry. This doll is darling! There is such a sweetness about it that I love seeing it in my baby's crib and in her little hands. She is only 5 months old and she already plays with it. This is a toy that was a "begged for" at Christmas. I wasnt surprised by all the pieces and I was very glad to see it came in a carry case. The nice part of this is the pieces are a soft plastic, so when you step on one it doesnt hurt...remember stepping on Lego's anyone?

I have a three year old who loves all things Polly. Excellent source of fine motor skill and coordination involvement.She dresses and undresses this doll almost dailyand it is a nice QUIET toy to take in the car to play with. A lot of small partsso beware! We would rate this toy a solid "A".

I am the mother of a beautiful daughter, wife of a tattoo artist, and tattoo artist myself. I have never been a fan of Barbie for various feminist reasons, but my daughter is much "girlier" than I ever was. She loves this doll, as silly as it is. As far as the doll being "skanky"...it's Barbie! Of course it's skanky, just look at her. If my daughter likes it and I can educate her about the silly stereotypes you'll encounter by getting tattoos, then good. We used to tattoo her dolls with Sharpies anyway, and this is WAY easier!

I get that people have strong opinions about the value of a doll that comes with a "tattoo" gun. I'm not interested in value judgments on the morality of tattoos. Seems very simple to me that if you don't agree with a toy's perceived social statement, don't buy it or let your child play with it. If you support or have no issues with said social statement, buy the toy.

What I am interested in is the durability and workmanship. The plastic applicator gun has a timer that seems to be shoddy at best. I may have missed it in the instructions, but I'm not sure how long the timer is supposed to take. Ours only works every third time we use it, making "timing" a hit or miss activity. I came looking for reviews hoping to gain some insight into whether this was a common issue. If this is an issue for others, it might be helpful to post a review to that effect, since the tattoo gun is a major component of this toy.

As for the rest of the toy, the tattoos seem to be the same or better quality as any other temporary tattoos you might buy, and my daughter likes that Barbie has her own little matching tattoos. We have yet to use this on the clothes provided, so I can't speak to how well that aspect works. And I have had no issues with the gun leaking, though I can see where over-wetting may be a problem since the water is delivered to the sponge applicator by pulling the trigger, which children may be tempted to do more than necessary.

Even after opening my review the way I did, I will say that I find it funny that "Totally Stylin' Tattoo Barbie" comes wearing stilettos, while "I Can Be... Computer Engineer Barbie" wears sensible shoes. Just sayin'... :-)

The tattoos are the same tattoos that little kids are getting at parties, down the shore, fairs and other places kids like to have fun. Teddy bears, stars, butterflies, hearts, etc. The girls are having a blast with the "tattoo machine" and everyone in the family is sporting Barbie tattoos.

Educational?? I explained the directions to the 3 1/2 and 6 1/2 year old on how to use the applicator and tattoos. Gave them a demo and they were on their way. It was adorable to watch the little one's concentration during the explanations because she just couldn't wait to try it out. If she ran into a problem, she and I figured out what to do to fix the problem. The oldest was tattooing Barbie's clothes before I had a chance to tell her how to do it. It may not be math, but it showed them how to use something from beginning to end and to get results from their trying.

Both girls love Barbies. The 6 year old cuts their hair. The youngest one uses them in her pretend stories.

Now I understand why it took forever to get this toy opened--it was necessary to hold the flimsy thing together. My grand daughter was so very disappointed. She is 8 years old and very capable of handling small toys correctly, this one just didn't

work as advertized. Even though they give you (obviously needed) extra tiny rubber bands in order to pull the handle back, the ball whips so hard that it just knocks the light weight doll off and bangs the toy ball off clear across the room! By the way,

the bowling pins are just tiny, flimsy pieces of cardboard! The only positive thing I can say about this toy is that it

provides a good lesson in patience! Unfortunately, that's not something I usually have to pay for! Not recommended for any age!

Our 4 year old daughter loves this toy. She is capable of working the pull-back lever. She loves to put it on hard floors and watch Polly fly across the room. Like the other reviewer said, the bowling pins are just plastic and she knocks them down as she rides over them. Honestly, it's a great toy if you need a few bucks to qualify for free super saver shipping. There's a reason it's only $3.

My daughter has liked the Liv dolls better then the barbie dolls. Im glad they finally made a boy Liv doll. He does not come with wig hair, but that does not seem to bother my daughter. She liked the wigs for the girl dolls because the doll can have long or short hair and I don't think she would want Jake to have hair any longer then it is! The posability of this doll is the best part. Compared to a Ken, Jake can stand on his own in many different poses. So far Jake has been very durable as all of our other liv dolls.

First I'd like to say I love Liv's Jake. He is cute and looks like an average teenager unlike Barbie's Ken doll. His articulation is fun. I only have two complaints, the first is a small one and is that the doll I bought has a small manufacturer defect on his front leg. There is like a pin hole right on the front shin. I like to photograph my dolls so this bothers me for that reason. My 5 and 3 year old daughters don't seem to notice it at all though. The second complaint is that he does not have removable wigs like the Liv girls. That is one of the biggest appeals of the Liv dolls, being able to change their hair color or style. Being able to make them a red head, brunette, blonde or to have wacky pink or blue hair, etc. It is very disappointing that you cannot do this with Jake. The only other thing I would like to add is the promo picture is a complete joke, very false advertising. Jake looks completely different then shown. You can find a ton of pictures of him on photo sites or by doing another online search. One cool thing about him is he fits Ken's shoes and clothes.

The quality of his clothes are very nice and his has a great face. The articulation on Jake, like the Liv girls, is amazing and similar to that of an action figure, both boys and girls will love that about Jake.

This doll, bought on Amazon, was bought as a model for making doll's clothes. He was new in box or NIB no damage to him and little to no damage to his box. His joints move well and he arrived carefully packed to keep him from damage. The seller shipped him late, but since I was not keeping track the overnight delivery was barely noted until I saw the note inside letting me know that the doll had been sent late. I thank the seller very much for making sure I didn't have to wait too long for delivery. He makes a fine addition to the girl dolls and they'll all be wearing OOAK outfits in the near future.

I am very pleased with this purchase. :-)

This girl was given to my 4 year old as a gift. However it is not a toy. My daughter is an only child, and is more careful than most adults I know. She adores this doll. She keeps her in a small Playpen, and carries the play pen around with her. The doll has a cloth body and very realistic feeling skin and hair. The hair on her head is glued on and should not be touched much, to prevent it from falling out. The hair on her arms and legs is put in through little holes. The doll is very heavy for it's size. Much like A real baby.

I saw Umi a few months ago at the Ashton-Drake site and could NOT take my eyes off her. Her half dreamy eyes don't open or close, but as light shifts, you'll swear she changes expression. She has the weight of a real orangutan baby and her arms, legs, and head have that soft crazy hair that wants to do its own thing. If you take her out in public, it's guaranteed she'll get attention. I bought this car for my 7 year old for Christmas 2011. Unfortunately she didn't get to play with it until almost February. The first car she opened didn't work at all. The customer service to trouble shoot it wasn't any help either. I returned it a week later. The new car runs but the doors are constantly falling off. The distance for the signal isn't great either when it goes behind the kitchen island or couch it stops running. It also eats batteries like crazy; I think the most she's gotten out of a set is a few hours. I wouldn't recommend buying this; go for a brand name remote car that you can rely on to be quality built.

My daughter had a Hannah doll that closely resembled this, and it recently broke, and I wasn't sure I'd be able to find another since the show is off the air now, but luckily, I found this. The outfits are better too, and this doll is put together much better.

There is nothing special about this toy, it's basically a barbie with what I think is an unattractive face. However, my daughter REALLY loves the whole Hannah Montana thing and requested this for Christmas. She plays with it a lot, so the hair is already a tangled mess as is common with most barbies. The clothes are OK, not anything I'd let my daughters actually WEAR, but it did open the opportunity for discussion about what types of clothes are appropriate for what ages. And these outfits are far less offensive than the BRATZ dolls, so I can't complain too much.

First of all my daughter loves this doll, but I have some problems with it. First of all this dolls panties are painted on which is fine but these are rather small. They are not a thong but theres not a whole lot more there diffently not what my 5 and 7 year old daughters would wear. The other thing is that the leggings on the extra outfit already have a whole in them and we have only had it two days.

This is the second of the dolls that I purchased for my granddaughter and she loves them all. They get a bit pricey for such small dolls but sometimes Amazon has some at bargain prices. I recommend them for good pretend play.
