This dress has a lot of detail and is well made. My 5 year old loved it and it fits her Madame Alexander doll just perfect. "The Queen's Treasures" provided fantastic customer service and the dress was shipped the same day I placed the order. I have ordered two other dresses from them and they are very nice too. Now I understand why it took forever to get this toy opened--it was necessary to hold the flimsy thing together. My grand daughter was so very disappointed. She is 8 years old and very capable of handling small toys correctly, this one just didn't

work as advertized. Even though they give you (obviously needed) extra tiny rubber bands in order to pull the handle back, the ball whips so hard that it just knocks the light weight doll off and bangs the toy ball off clear across the room! By the way,

the bowling pins are just tiny, flimsy pieces of cardboard! The only positive thing I can say about this toy is that it

provides a good lesson in patience! Unfortunately, that's not something I usually have to pay for! Not recommended for any age!

Our 4 year old daughter loves this toy. She is capable of working the pull-back lever. She loves to put it on hard floors and watch Polly fly across the room. Like the other reviewer said, the bowling pins are just plastic and she knocks them down as she rides over them. Honestly, it's a great toy if you need a few bucks to qualify for free super saver shipping. There's a reason it's only $3.

Sofia the First is newest in a long line of Disney Jr popular cartoons. It seems like that Disney is able to (annually) roll out new cartoons Jake and the Neverland Pirates (2011), Doc McStuffins (2012), and Sofia the First in 2013. I am not sure if Sofia will have the broad appeal of both Jake and Doc McStuffins (which both boys and girls seem to love), but Sofia is definitely a hit with my 3 year old daughter.

One thing you can say about Disney is that they never back down from a marketing opportunity, now that Sofia the First has become popular Disney has rolled a large variety of toys. The Sofia the First Royal Bed Playset is a copy of Sofia's canopy bed, her pet bird, Clover, and even her teddy bear!

Notes-

Sofia fits snuggly under the covers of the Canopy bed in some ways a little too snuggly because if her arms are not positioned correctly she will not fit.

Sofia can be coupled with the Sofia the First Magical Talking Castle where this Sofia figure adds a few additional phrases to the castle.

Clover is included, and like Sofia he is interactive with the Magical Talking Castle.

One thing that is odd, the Royal Bed doesn't quite fit in the Sofia the First Magical Talking Castle it is a bit too large.

Final Verdict My daughter liked the Sofia Royal Bed Playset, but it doesn't really compliment the Magical talking castle. Both the Magical Talking Castle and the Royal Bed included Sofia and Clover.... and the Royal Bed doesn't fit that well into the castle. Perhaps the best option is to buy the Royal Bed Playset and using it with some other dollhouse and castle (since the Sofia the First Magical Talking Castle is a bit of a flawed product)

My daughter is a huge Sofia fan, so I pre-ordered this as soon as it showed up on Amazon. What a waste of money! My daughter popped Sofia's head off in minutes, and the bed and trunk came apart shortly after. Plus Clover is very odd looking. I'd take it away if it wouldn't crush my child, and it is so sad when she comes running to me because it broke again. Whoever rated this 3+ was an idiot, because my 2 1/2 yro has many 3+ toys and they are much better made than this. With the delicate touch this toy needed, I'd expect the youngest it is suited for is 6.

My daughter was so excited to get this! She had gotten the dolls as gifts and then we went back after Christmas and purchased this with a gift card. She has spent a lot of time with it, setting up the furniture, setting up the tea party, playing with the little monkey it comes with, etc. My only complaint is that a few of the pieces are SO small that it's difficult for a 4 year old to handle (i.e. the spoons for the tea set)but I'm sure for older girls it's fine. Overall very cute for the Island Princess fan, beautiful colors and looks really cute with the dolls from the movie. (one little complaint... the backdrop with the elephant is really cheap and flimsy so it doesn't stand up very well on carpeting but it's still cute and my daughter doesn't seem to be bothered by it)

We bought this soft doll bed for our much loved 12" Melissa & Doug Jenna doll. It is a little floppier around the head area than I expected. When you pop dolly inside and pick her up in it the head area bows outwards. Not a huge deal and certainly not a deal breaker. The fabric is very sweet, the picture here is a true representation of what you will get. The entire bed is very lightly padded, I don't believe there is any cardboard reinforcement inside (plus point for washing!) The pillow is nicely padded to cushion precious baby dolls head (it is stitched down) and the cover is stitched at the bow to hold down the top. There is adequate room to get baby in and out without any need for the top to come open. The straps are quite long, which allows my three year old to throw them over her shoulder and carry baby as though she were in a handbag, LOL. The quality is good and I can see this bed lasting through my youngest who is currently only 13 weeks old.

Our daughter received this product for Christmas. It only comes with three hangers and the Amazon recommendation of the hangers that others bought with this product DO NOT fit in the trunk. People may have bought the white plastic hangers, but they don't fit. I recommend that you check out PA.Woods on Esty. This artist sells very cute 5" metal hangers that actually fit nicely within the trunk. Otherwise, the trunk is a little small for all the doll clothes our American Girl has accumulated, so we have come up with a system to work together with this one.

The doll trunk is very pretty and I purchased it for my 4 year old daughter to hold her doll and associated outfits. The clothing rods have both come out. They are only held in by very small (not very deep) screws and with normal play pull out and cannot be rehung. Overall for the price, I would pass next time.

I had purchased a wooden doll trunk last year for a grandchild and it was flimsy and did not last any time. This colorful doll trunk is well made and has plenty of room for the doll and her clothes. My daughter enjoys bath time with this doll. She is pretty yet modest (rare for a mermaid), and her tail moves when she is wet. If she keeps moving after we pull her out of the water, we dry the two contact points and she stops. We have owned her for 2 months and had no complications.

The Moxie Girlz Magic Swim Mermaid doll is such a fun doll! She is a regular sized doll but after adding two AA batteries, she swims in the water! Now we have only tried this in the bathtub but I think this doll is going to be a lot of fun in the pool this summer! She swims on her side, back and even flips her tail around when sitting in the water. There are two contacts in the back of her that once exposed to water she's off swimming! There is no on/off button to mess with and she doesn't make any sounds, other than the slight sound from her tail moving. I think Olivia is going to go crazy when she sees this doll swimming around her in the pool. Even now my boys (3 and 5) were amazed by it in the bathtub! To dry out I leave her up on the shower ledge for now. We have only used her a few times so I can't say how she will last but so far so good! It is weird to immerse something with batteries in water but her back seems to seal pretty tight, which is where the batteries are stored.
