Love the accessories that came with this doll. It was purchased as a gift. I am sure there will be much excitement when it is opened and will be a great addition to a Monster High collection.

Review of Monster High Original Favorites Clawdeen Wolf Doll
When my daughter started to get monster high dolls we never ended up getting the original Clawdeen and I wasn't prepared to pay 200 dollars or more for a toy. She looks fantastic and I am pleased that her hair brush and doll stand aren't plain black. The only problem that I encountered with her was when she was shipped she was placed on the bottom of my package and the box was squished under some of the other products I bought, because she was meant as a toy I wasn't worried to much but if I was a collector I would have been upset.

Had to go buy expensive batteries before I could even use it. Would have been perfect if it would have worked right out of the box. Disappointing.

After 1 day, the doll has a dislocated elbow. It is being held on with tape. Daughter loves singing along with the doll. She is happy with it.Best Deals for Disney Singing Cinderella Doll -- 17''
When you press her hand she sings a few lines of the the song if yoou keep pressing she will continue to sing. i hanvent taking her out the box I have all the princess dolls except Snowwhite Mulan Pochanatas. We cannot figure out how to turn her off, other than removing the batteries. Every time you touch her she starts singing. There's no volume control either....so she sings over and over until you put her down. We've had her for 12 hours and already removed the batteries. If anyone knows how to turn her on/off, please comment. She does come with long hair and a brush, which seems to be the highlight of this product, definitely not the singing part.Sunday, January 18, 2015

I have played with these in Walmart before, and though they were cute. When they were under $5 on Amazon I ordered 2 for my nieces. They arrived today and the batteries are dead. Not sure how I can test them, or replace the battaries without ruining the packaging, and they were meant for Christmas gifts. :( If you plan to give them as a gift beware that they may not be much fun until you can load new battaries in!Best Deals for Aquapets Likabee
This toy is not worth the money...it wasn't too expensive but I don't think I should have paid more than five dollars for it. It was so boring that my seven year old daughter told me I could take them back to the store the day she opened them :( I even got her three so they could interact and they are still a dud. Also very small. They are really only suitable for a three year old's maturity level however I doubt the construction would hold up to the abuse of a two year old.Honest reviews on Aquapets Likabee
Smaller than expected. Gave this as a 4-year old's birthday gift. when it arrived it was smaller than i anticipated.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Aquapets Likabee
We replaced the batteries when it arrived and it blipped once and never worked after that. Very disappointed, but I was warned! The other one we bought worked fine, but this one.... total dud.Saturday, January 17, 2015

This is my third spectra doll, I already own First wave and Picture day, But this doll is my favorite so far.
Everything from head to toe is detailed.
You get
The doll.
A hat.
"Gloved" hands that I might add are amazingly detailed, There's a keyhole on the back of her hand and there's actually stitching marks where they would be on the tiny glove.
A belt.
The amazing clear purple jacket, Although I might add I did struggle taking this off the first time. I'm not sure if a younger girl would be able to get it off without hurting the doll's arm.
A dress
A silver/grey chain necklace with matching padlock chain earings.
A purse.
A I coffin and Compact and her awesome shoes.

Great to play with for all girls! I love monster high and im collecting the dolls. This one is a great addition to my collection.Best Deals for Monster High Ghouls Night Out Doll Spectra Vondergeist
Ghouls night out Spectra is so lovely. I think this is the best version of her we have since since the original. Spectras hair is extremely long and goes all the way to her knees. Her hair is mostly purple with streaks or magenta throughout. On top of her head she wears the most adorable tophat. The hat itself is made of black plastic but it has an adorable ribbon bow at the back that is purple with black chains printed on it. Her facepaint is extremely pretty. She has lavender shadow liner her lower eye and the same lavender shade on her upper upper eyelid and crease as well. She has iridescent glitter along her browbone. Her lips are a very deep dark (almost black) shade of purple. Her eyes do not have as much of a turquoise color to them this time, they are a muted kind of slate grey/blue. Her earrings in each ear are metallic silver dangling chains with little locks on the end. She wears a multi layer chain choker style metallic silver necklace as well. She has a new hand mold as well. They are molded and painted purple to look like she is wearing gloves. Each glove has a keyhole design at the top of her hand. In her left hand she holds her black and purple Icoffin, and in her right hand she holds a silver makeup compact. Her outfit is adorable as well. She wears a sweetheart neckline strapless dress. The dress had a black background with a print of metallic silver and magenta chains all over it. Over her dress she wears a translucent purple lucite sleeveless coat with a high stand up collar. At her waist she wears a purple ribbon belt with a metallic silver buckle. Her purse is mostly metallic silver with a purple stripe in the middle and is covered with dangling swag chains. Her shoes are amazing. They are silver round toe pumps with silver chains coming down from her ankles and wrapping under the arch of the shoe. The heels are straight links of silver chains as well. There is a silver buckle at the instep and a small purple platform at the ball of her foot. She comes with a black stand and brush. Last but not least, she comes with a ghouls night out booklet. The booklet that comes with each doll is a little different which is nice. It shows the ghouls going to see Catty Noir, a beautiful black werecat pop singer in concert. Catty Noir is supposed to be released in doll form sometime later this summer. The booklet shows pictures of Venus, Ghoulia, and Clawdeen as well, so this may hint at there being future releases in the ghouls night out line (I sure hope so because Venus looks amazing and that would be an awesome doll!!). Overall Spectra is a gorgeous doll. Mattel did a great job on the ghouls night out line and I hope they do make more in the future!!Honest reviews on Monster High Ghouls Night Out Doll Spectra Vondergeist

Glamour ghoul in modern dress. A great choice for any one interested in Monster High. The only downside is a Mattel problem with the doll's hair. Nothing special there just straight no imagination behind the hair style. Otherwise no problems.Sunday, December 28, 2014

Just purchased this for my 5 year old granddaughter, who be be a "Big Sister" when her baby brother arrives in mid-December
The doll is beautifully made, with a sweet face and soft skin. (He shouldn't have to start shaving for at least 2 weeks,
I purchased ?"Premie Pampers, and some Premie pjs and outfits for him so that big sister can learn how to help Mommy take care of her brother. Fortunately, this doll doesn't talk, gurgle, or make other sounds that take away from a child's imaginative skills. Best of--it doesn't Orr or poop--so no worries there! I bought the pampers just so she can change"her baby" when Mom changes her little brother. ( I also purchased an"Ergobaby Doll Carrier" and the exact same one for our daughter. Well, you know how I feel about the doll Now the tough part comes--will mom and daughter feel the same? Stay tuned for a December update.

My granddaughters love realistic baby dolls. The oldest already had an Ashton Drake but wanted another! She wanted another girl, her sister wanted a boy. And they had to be anatomically correct! I saw this one and its identical twin. A girl and a boy! So I ordered them both. The girls were thrilled and loved them. And the two together were less than one Ashton Drake doll!Tuesday, December 9, 2014

When my granddaughter isn't playing with her babies or making cookies & other things with her PlayDoh, she is playing Polly Pockets. She especially loves this one (Polly Pocket Totally Trendy Pets Jungle Tails) because there is a cat. She has 2 cats at home & loves them, so this Polly was special to her. The only reason I rated it a 4 instead of 5 in fun & overall is that the clothes were hard for her to take off & put back on. I'm sure she would want to play with it more often, it took her older sister a while to master that & I'm sure she'll get the hang of it very soon, until then I'll happily help her.Honest reviews on Polly Pocket Totally Trendy Pets Jungle Tails

Cheap Calico Critters: Deluxe Village House
List Price: $119.99

We were determined to give our daughter a dollhouse for her 3rd birthday. We considered FP Loving Family, Barbie, and half a dzoen chunky wooden dollhouses and accessories before settling on Calico Critters. She was enamored with the tiny animal families in the toy stores, which is what really helped us to decide.
I agree with a previous reviewer that the scale of the furniture is terribly tiny, but that is actually more appealing to our daughter, who is very petite and feminine and attracted to miniscule things. The house is not perfect... the rooms aren't sized appropriately for the furniture sets. However, my daughter likes to move furniture and rooms around from time to time anyway and isn't particular about such things. My biggest concerns are with sturdiness (4 out of 5) and play value (5 out of 5).
After 3 months, we are still very satisfied with this house. It is a winner with our young daughter, and even with our 5 yr. old son, as the house is NOT pink and purple and frilly, but somewhat realistic in color schemes, and he is fond of creating mouse adventures with his younger sister.

This is a gorgeous, well-built house, with windows and doors that open and close and other beautiful details like a spiral staircase and dormer windows. And the furniture and accessories sold separately are also adorable and well-made. I love the fact that the inhabitants of the house are animals --they give it such a storybook quality. My daughters (3 1/2 and 5) can't stop playing with their house and critter family. Sure, some of the accessories are tiny, but that's what seems to capture their attention and imaginations the most.
At first, I thought I'd buy a wooden house for them, but they hardly play with the one at their preschool -it seems the boxy, generic furniture and accessories for those houses don't hold their interest for long. Not so with the Calico Critters house. They play for hours putting their critters to bed, giving them baths or setting up little picnics for them.
If you aren't sure which type of house your kids might like better, take them to a toy store where they have both houses set up. My daughters were drawn to the Calico Critters house in the toy store like magnets, so I could tell that was the one for us.
It's true, like another reviewer noted, that not all of the bathroom pieces will fit in one bathroom. Santa just took out the extra pieces that didn't fit! LOL! Also, Santa purchased some of the living room, bedroom and garden furniture from overseas because the Sylvanian Families line available there has more to choose from, including smaller room groups that seem to fit in the house better and are even cuter than what is available in the states. I hope Calico Critters expands their line in the U.S. to offer more of what is currently available under the Sylvanian Families' name.
The only complaint I have is the ladder included with the house to help the critters get to the third floor attic/nursery could have been designed better. It always falls down with even the slightest nudge because there is no way to secure it in place. Putting a lip on the ladder and a slit in the third floor where the ladder could "snap" in would be a nice touch.
Otherwise, the house is really perfect.

You know...this series of toys sounds suspiciously akin to one of my favorite comic books, Silvania families. Anyway, on with the review. It's a very fun toy, though pretty much plain without the accessories. Be prepared to spend a small fortune for your little ones. It's educational value is in it's lovely architectural design, as well as inner fixtures, etc.
Get at least one or two families and 2 sets of accessories and I guarantee that this house will entertain for years to come.
Honest reviews on Calico Critters: Deluxe Village House
This is much better than the Calico Critters Townhouse. This is more sturdy and easier for small hands to manipulate the furniture. If you are buying Calico Critters, this is the only house you need to buy. The townhouse is not worth it.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Calico Critters: Deluxe Village House
After months of research and numerous trips to the toy store I sadly opted to get this plastic dollhouse instead of the eco-friendly Plan Toy doll house. I am EXTREMELY happy for choosing this one because my 2 year old daughter LOVES it. She always preferred playing with the Calico than the wooden ones in the store. The furniture, dolls, house, clothes are more aesthetically pleasing for a child than the big, plain wooden ones. My daughter wasn't into the wooden dolls nor the house and furniture. The Calico Critters, also known as Sylvanian Family, has a more realistic look to it. Granted the dolls are animals but most kids will gravitate towards that due to its cuteness. The dollhouse didn't come with any Critters or furniture but that is ok. You can really "decorate" the house in any manner due to the great selection of furniture sets. The house is big and has three stories, 6 rooms and a deck to fill it up. Not all the furniture will fit into the rooms on the 2nd and 3rd floor. So you may have to put those to the side. House comes completely built only thing you need to do it add the "gates". Wished the ladder had a hook or something to hang on it just keeps falling down. Most of the windows open which is great. This house feels sturdy and will last for sometime. BTW, the furniture sets has some extremely small parts. I have put them away for now until she gets older. I am not afraid of her putting them in her mouth just losing them. Overall, house is great and if you are debating on what kind of house to buy just take them to a toy store where they have either wooden or plastic or both. Your little one will tell you.Monday, August 11, 2014
Cheap Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper: Double Wedding and Vanity
My daughter received this for a birthday gift and was thrilled when she saw the box. However, after taking the pieces out and putting them together, and putting them together, and then putting them together AGAIN, she lost all interest in it. She loves the 2 cats from the movie and was most excited they were included. The wedding arch falls apart if you look at it wrong.
I would not spend my money on this unless you intend to sit there with your child and reconstruct the thing every time she moves.

Exclusive Disney Princess The Little Mermaid Wedding Dolls - Ariel Reviews
Our 3 1/2 year old granddaughter recieved "The Little Mermaid Wedding Dolls -Ariel & Prince Eric" for Christmas. A tremendous success! She is delighted by all the Disney Princesses, but Ariel is her favorite, and make believe with her dolls is her favorite activity. A requirement is that everyone participating in make believe talk in very high pitched voices, which seems to get the guys in the family off the hook. Prince Eric has solved that problem finally. Daddy, Uncles, Grandpas, etc. can speak in their normal guy voices or even lower and play (sometimes to their dismay.) It was a wonderful addition to our holidays and has continued to be a part of her everyday play, and she finds when older little boys come over they are more comfortable playing with a boy doll, rather than a princess or fairy. Hurray for Prince Eric!

This was bought as a Christmas gift to go with the barn I bought for my 3 year old. Each piece looks very real, and as much as I love looking and playing with this set, I may not recommend it for little kids. We have already lost the hoof pick and one of the brushes. Lots of small pieces!!

My main caveat is that the pieces in this set are VERY small. Not good for small children. But the seller will ding you for 20% of the price (for some phony-baloney "re-stocking fee"), plus the original shipping costs, if you return it, so it's not worth it to return it, especially when you have to pay shipping costs again to send it back. I am sorry I bought it, but will just keep it rather than send it back to get a very small refund. Having said all that, it is a lovely little set. Nice for a collector or older child.Best Deals for Grooming Kit
