Our 3 1/2 year old granddaughter recieved "The Little Mermaid Wedding Dolls -Ariel & Prince Eric" for Christmas. A tremendous success! She is delighted by all the Disney Princesses, but Ariel is her favorite, and make believe with her dolls is her favorite activity. A requirement is that everyone participating in make believe talk in very high pitched voices, which seems to get the guys in the family off the hook. Prince Eric has solved that problem finally. Daddy, Uncles, Grandpas, etc. can speak in their normal guy voices or even lower and play (sometimes to their dismay.) It was a wonderful addition to our holidays and has continued to be a part of her everyday play, and she finds when older little boys come over they are more comfortable playing with a boy doll, rather than a princess or fairy. Hurray for Prince Eric!
