Cheap Barbie Hairtastic Cut and Style Brunette Doll

This was one of the presents we recently purchased for our daughter's 4th birthday. Big waste of money! It's a cute doll overall and our daughter is playing with it. But the doll's hair looks choppy. The doll's hair has gotten wet since my daughter was playing with her in her Barbie pool, and once the doll's hair is wet and then dries, it doesn't look as choppy as it originally did. As for the hair extensions, they're very difficult to put in the doll's head I was having a hard time with it and I'm a grown woman, so of course our 4 year old was having a tough time as well. Some of the extensions went in easy but the rest are almost impossible to put into the doll's head. The scissors aren't real scissors, they just make snipping sounds as if you're actually cutting hair. The pictures and advertisements are misleading for this doll. So, overall, this doll is a disappointment. Our daughter does play with it, but not with the hair extensions, she just brushes the doll's hair that's already on her head and plays with it like she does her other dolls.

This doll is awesome...she looks much better than on the picture. Her hair is toasty (hair spray texture) and it is thin long and curly. There are only two in stock as of now on amazon and I don't believe they will be on sale anywhere else after those are gone considering Bratz stopped making good dolls after they were sued by Mattel. Awesome doll though...get it if you are a bratz fan! It is one of the best sasha dolls MGA ever made.

I bought a few of these as storage for my 18 inch dolls. Unlike the other reviewer I haven't had any trouble with the zippers at all. My one and only complaint with the design is that the pockets for accessories are in front of the doll, which isn't really an issue as long as you are careful what you put in there so you don't scratch the doll. For the price though I was pleasantly surprised. I also own the AG version (bought when it first came out) of this, and while I have to admit I like the AG version better for actual travel (the pocket issue is solved in the AG version), I see this one as a very nice alternative to paying the outrages prices of AG. Had this been around before I bought the AG one, I probably wouldn't have bothered with the AG version.

My daughter was so excited when this arrived in the mail. It was beautifully designed with lots of pockets for accessories. She loved the way her doll could look out the window in the front.

Unfortunately, the zipper malfunctioned almost immediately. After inspecting it, we discovered that not only was there no way to fix the zipper, but it appeared to be so poorly designed that we had little hope of success with a replacement.

We were hoping for a more affordable alternative to the $58 American Girl doll carrier, but at plus shipping and lasting 3 days, this was no bargain.

I was so happy to get both my daughters an 18" doll for thier birthday's this year. When my sister in law asked what she could get my daughters for their birthdays ( they are 3 weeks apart) I was so excited to recommend this item. Almost within 2 hours of playing with the carrier, the zipper broke and the case ripped. I was so sad not only for my sis-in-law who spent money on these items (she bought both daughters one) but also for my daughters who had damaged birthday gifts. I will be returning both carriers. What a poorly made product. We will look into other doll carrier options!

My daughter loved this print and picked this pajama outfit out from all of the options on Amazon and was not disappointed. It is even cuter in person than it appears on the site. The quality is very good, and the fit is perfect for her American Girl doll. The slippers fit well too. Overall, really cute. Wish they had the matching PJ set for little girls too. I think this Ken is positively hideous, but my 4 and 1/2 -year-old daughter thinks he is quite "handsome"! His haircut and "stylish outfit" are hilarious! I confess that I bought him because he was cheap (and how!) and she needed a new Ken for her Barbie play pals. Since beauty is in the eye of the beholder and since my daughter is the one playing with him, he has happily joined her collection of Barbie dolls.

I would recommend buying this Ken just for the sheer entertainment value it will give you!

I bought this for my daugther for Christmas becuase she didn't have any boy Barbies. I wish i would have saved my money and found a better one. The main drawback for me is that he is so stiff. His legs don't bend at the knee so having him sit down is a bit hard becuase his legs stick straight out.

What's with this weird version of a (super) bleached-blonde Ken and who in their right mind would pay almost twenty bucks for him?!?!?!

Just as another reviewer on here admitted, I also purchased the Fashion Fairytale Ken for a great price on clearance (six bucks!) so that my little girl's Barbie dolls have another guy friend. This isn't even close to resembling the Ken I grew up with, but the price was right considering the few options available for that dollar amount (ie: standard plastic doll with a bathing suit). This Ken is actually worth the normal retail value of $12 just for the fact that he's fully dressed in a three-piece silver/metallic suit and tie, and he's wearing dress-up sneakers which really aren't that bad looking. But, the pink tie and weird toupee hair-do are pretty over the top. Once this guy is let out of the box, he's getting a haircut first thing!!!

Not a bad purchase, but definitely shop around for the best deal out there!!!

Purchased this toy on sale at Amazon for a Christmas gift for my seven year old daughter. She has played with it at least weekly since opening the gift.

Most of her creativity has been expressed through drawing/painting and clay/playdough. This set adds something in the third dimension that she really enjoys. She has enjoyed the tangible and textural play with fabric, form and design.

Since doesn't have numerous dress forms, she will often build a design and take a digital picture against a backdrop before dismantling and doing another.

This set came with a bag and bracelet...which aren't worth much...but she has used anyway.

We have since supplied our daughter with additional fabrics and another set.

I love love love this product! My six year old and ten year old each got one for Christmas and played with them all day and are still playing with them all the time. DOES NOT REQUIRE ANY SEWING to make hundreds of different dresses. Ingenious idea! You can use everything over and over. We have also cut scrap fabric of my own for them to use.

When my friend told me her daughter was into mini lala loopsies, I had no idea what she was talking about. But I was looking for a small fun present for a 4 year old. I purchased this for my daughter to receive for Christmas 2010. One microphone quit working after 2 weeks and the CD began skipping when you would sing with it. I contacted Digital Blue (manufacturer) about this and they had me ship it back to them (cost me $20.00) so they could test it and send me a new unit. After many weeks and emails, I received a new unit (yeah right). It was the same one with the same problems. I contacted them again and they finally sent me a shipping label to send it back after much harrassment (from them). A month later I receive yet another unit. This time the mics work, but the CD player won't even play a CD. They actually asked me if I used the power adaptor that came with the CD player. Seriously? They think I'm that dumb!!! Issue is still not resolved. I am still stuck with a unit that won't work. Maybe by Christmas 2011 I'll have a working unit. I will never buy a Digital Blue Product again!!!

This product is a wonderful idea in theory... dual microphones allow child(ren) to sing along with their favorite music. The only problem... what child sits still while singing to music they like? Any movement, even the slightest touch to the machine makes the cd "skip". Very annoying when you have little ones wanting to put on a performance for the family or friends. Sound quality is ok, not the greatests.

Finally, Finally! A toy with a microphone that actually works! We've tried several over the years and none of the wireless mics work at all, or only work a day or two. This has mics that plug in. AND, another bonus giftyou can run off batteries or plug into the wall. No fussing and whining because batteries are dead.

ANDnot one, but 2 mics! Both my girls are sooo happy.

Now off to find noise canceling ear plugs for mommy.

Since it was crunch time for Christmas, and I could not find the peekaboo playset at a reasonable price, I purchased this for my daughter. She wanted the playset badly, but unfortunately it was not to be this holiday. So I thought the next best thing was this purse and some of the dolls. She opened it and never even asked about the playset. She likes it, and that is what matters.

As a mom, I am not happy about the make up of this toy. It is simply a plastic case with a zipper. It has a stiff cardboard insert to divide up the space in "rooms". This stiff board makes it hard to use the zipper sometimes and she brings it to us to do it for her. I want to say the zipper pull is also plastic, so I am afraid it will break.

It is a Barbie product, so the expense will be more than the actual value of the toy, but she loves it, so I have to go with that. Luckily I got it on a good sale so I didn't spend the full price for this. Your little girl will probably love it, as mine does, so I am glad I bought it.
