Since it was crunch time for Christmas, and I could not find the peekaboo playset at a reasonable price, I purchased this for my daughter. She wanted the playset badly, but unfortunately it was not to be this holiday. So I thought the next best thing was this purse and some of the dolls. She opened it and never even asked about the playset. She likes it, and that is what matters.

As a mom, I am not happy about the make up of this toy. It is simply a plastic case with a zipper. It has a stiff cardboard insert to divide up the space in "rooms". This stiff board makes it hard to use the zipper sometimes and she brings it to us to do it for her. I want to say the zipper pull is also plastic, so I am afraid it will break.

It is a Barbie product, so the expense will be more than the actual value of the toy, but she loves it, so I have to go with that. Luckily I got it on a good sale so I didn't spend the full price for this. Your little girl will probably love it, as mine does, so I am glad I bought it.

My girls seem to enjoy this playset, but have started using it more as peekaboo storage than anything else. That's fine with me, but I thought they'd want to use it for imaginative play... it is cute & works well to keep their peekaboos in one spot, though. So I can't complain. :)

My grand daughter loved her barbie peek-a-boo purse and playset. The main thing she liked about it is that she can take the mini dolls in the car with her whenever she goes shopping with mom. They fit in her back pack and she can play with them when she's in the car and pop them back into her back pack when they get to their destination.
