When McDonald's gave away miniature Madame Alexander dolls in their Happy Meals, I told my (then) 8-year-old granddaughter how the slightly larger Madame Alexander dolls were somewhat expensive collectibles and that I'd had one as a child. Immediately she wanted one. This one was such a good buy and so adorable. I am pleased to say that 2 years later she still has the complete set and displays it in her room. It took a lot of restraint for that little girl not to dress and play with the doll and I wouldn't have cared if she did. But I am proud of her for understanding that this isn't REALLY a toy.Friday, May 30, 2014

Ours did not swim at first, but my son did something to the batter pack and changed out the batteries and she worked. Guess it was a loose connection. Renita

My daughter enjoys bath time with this doll. She is pretty yet modest (rare for a mermaid), and her tail moves when she is wet. If she keeps moving after we pull her out of the water, we dry the two contact points and she stops. The Moxie Girlz Magic Swim Mermaid doll is such a fun doll! She is a regular sized doll but after adding two AA batteries, she swims in the water! Now we have only tried this in the bathtub but I think this doll is going to be a lot of fun in the pool this summer! She swims on her side, back and even flips her tail around when sitting in the water. There are two contacts in the back of her that once exposed to water she's off swimming! There is no on/off button to mess with and she doesn't make any sounds, other than the slight sound from her tail moving. I think Olivia is going to go crazy when she sees this doll swimming around her in the pool. Even now my boys (3 and 5) were amazed by it in the bathtub! To dry out I leave her up on the shower ledge for now. We have only used her a few times so I can't say how she will last but so far so good! Love the quality of this little stroller. It is very durable for little ones. The only thing that I would change is the front wheel. Wish that it would swivel from left to right instead of being stationary.

I wanted a nice stoller for my daughter for christmas, one that would last for a long time. She is only 2 so as soon as she saw it she got in it, and yes it is made for dolls so I will give them that much. However, I have had strollers that cost a lot less that my children got into and it lasted for years. This tore within 2 months. Even as I was putting it together I knew it wouldn't last because it was so cheaply made. The hangers are made of a nice smooth wood, but they are too small. A lot of the clothes fall off if you move the hanger. It also took about 3 1/2 weeks to get them.

I am always so impressed with kathe kruse products. They are so well made and feel like they will last forever. The fabrics on their towel dolls are great. We have the donkey and the hedgehog. The donkey is the hands down favorite though. The ears are prefect for teethingour son especially loves it when I get them damp and put it in the freezer. He loves to cuddle up with the donkey and always squeals when delight when he sees it. The knotted corners are perfect and the doll has a lot of different textures for him to explore. We will be purchasing these as baby gifts from now on and for any child we have in the future!

Buy Cabbage Patch Kids Premiere Collection Fashionality Girly Girl
The doll is adorable. I have a big problem with her. She came with a very strong powder smell that I cannot get out. Yesterday I had to put her in the garage hoping the horrible smell will leave. I have set her outside on the catio to try and air her out. It would be very helpful for those of us who are sensitive to smells and cannot tolerate being around them, not to put smells on products. She is an adorable doll and I hate it that I can't have her in the house and that smell won't wear off. I will never buy another doll online because of this factor.My granddaughter loved the doll. She cares it with her all the time. Much better than looking in the store to find the right doll.

I'm a huge gwen stefani fan, always been into no doubt. I actually bought these just for fun but did give the cheerleading one away to a friend's daughter since she is a cheerleader.
