The doll is cute! However, it did not come in a display box or the outfit shown. I got it and it was in clear plastic in a brown box. It didn't even have a tag or anything. I contacted the company to ask why it wasn't in a box or the outfit shown and they replied " read the description, it says box and outfit not included!" I did read it and it said in the description: comes in a display box and short sleeve shirt, silver sequin skirt, and silver glitter flats!!! The company to me was not honest!!!!

I played this game with my niece and loved it! There are many children's games that are just plain boring and are torture to play with the children (Candy Land & Chutes and Ladders) This one is a challenge for both adults and children (it requires listening and memorizing) and it is fun to put on the rings, earrings, hair clips, etc. It is even funnier to see the tough guys playing and wearing the baubles! It is a great game and made a night of babysitting a pleasure!

The big plus of this doll is the wing design. Mattel has been failing on the durability factor for some years now when it came to dolls with wings. This doll has big wings that are sturdy & are attached to the doll's back in a way that is less likely to break. The parts that plug into the doll's back are large, thick & the grooves are deep in the doll. Mattel scored big with this design: I hope they repeat it.

Another plus is the overall look of the doll. She is pretty and the velcro flower decorations were a really great idea and work really well. I wish they had put more in the package. The felt wings make it easy to make other decorations for the doll. You can buy felt squares in any craft section of Wal-mart or in a craft store & cut out & create a wide variety of things.

The only negative factors are as follows:

1the doll's legs do not bend. This seems to be getting more common with Mattel Barbie. Not really sure why unless it is to save money.

2The doll is made of the cheaper plastic material like you find in the Barbie knockoffs in the dollar stores. Again, I would assume this is to save (make) more money. It wouldnt bother me so much if not for the fact that the price of the dolls are going up. If you are determined to use a cheaper plastic for the toy, dont charge me more.

Besides the 2 negatives, the doll is a big hit in our house.

The top fairy costume is not really fabric but painted on the barbie's body. That's mean there is limitation to style the barbie, so except from that. I love the creative flower sticking wand and overall is just awesome, really beautifully done and worth to keep!

I bought this and it's wonderful. The doll is scented, she smells like suntan lotion. Everything from the hair and clothes to the ankle bracelet is beautiful. Oh, and mine came with an enclosed doll stand, which was AWESOME (I didn't buy it off of Amazon.com though, I got it at a store) so I could pose her in my collection.

All in all, I'm pretty happy with this doll. However, she does look a little different then the one in the picture on the back of the box. The picture has skin colored legs and striped knee high socks, and the doll has whiteish colored legs, no socks :( The one on the box is cuter than the one I actually got IN the box, but Oh well...my daughter will like it anyway, and I doubt she'll even notice the difference.

For those of you that order these dolls based on details, which is the entire thing that makes them special to my girls, Spectra does not look like the image. She is more pastel, soft and blended. Her eyes are not "glowing" as the photo shows them to be. Definitely not that bright turquoise in the middle, it is dull, very light turquoise and also the outer eye color is not dark purple/blue it is light. Her eyes don't pop like the photo. Also, she does NOT have a side bang pony. Her bangs are just cut on an angle. HER hair is also almost one shade. Her dress is also light and the polka dots blend in, not even noticeable. I bought 3 dolls and they are all like this, not like the photo on here. Returning all 3 dolls.

Could you please change the image of Spectra. The doll does not look like it. It is a pity I have not read the recommandations of Desert Bloom before.
