The doll is just what I was looking for. It's the right size and a great gift for my 4-year-old granddaughter. The only thing I didn't like was it's packaging. It came thrown in a box with no wrapping or covering of any kind. If it weren't for the tags on the doll, I would have thought this was a used, second hand item someone sent me. I think they could have at least enclosed it in a plastic bag to protect it from dirt.

This stroller is typically Corolle-adorable the pattern is absolutely the cutest I've seen on a doll stroller. It's very lightweight and just the right size for a 1-3 year old. We have three Corolle dolls and many other dolls in our house, and the stroller works fine for all of them. It's easy to put together. The one problem is that the quality of the stroller doesn't seem to be quite what I would expect from the Corolle brand one of the stroller supports doesn't stay where it is supposed to on our stroller. Fine for dolls it's not like they're going to get hurt if the stroller isn't perfectly supported. And neither of my daughters has even noticed it, so it's not a problem for them.

My older daughter's doll stroller has more bells and whistles a storage area underneath, a snack tray and I think those things might matter for an older kid. My older daughter noted the differences. But for my one year old, this is perfect. She keeps trying to climb into it and so far it has held up to that, so it may be sturdier than it looks.

I bought this for my 3 year old because it was so cute and also because it had wheels making it easy for her to wheel around the house. It is super cute and moderately sturdy, but I wouldn't expect it to hold up over a lifetime like a wooden KidKraft would. It was pretty easy to put together even though I found the instructions to be somewhat lacking (the pictures aren't very clear).

It is made of metal bars joined by plastic T-bars like assembling a tent. The bed is held up by the fabric skirting that snaps onto the metal bars. Then a round piece of wood panel is placed on the hanging fabric and after that, a padded mat. I am hoping that, should too much weight be placed on the bed bottom, the snaps will release as opposed to the fabric tearing.

My only complaint thus far is that the wheels are a little loose and pull out of the bottom very easily. I would have liked these to be tightly fitted so I wouldn't have to worry about losing any. Other than that, we are very happy! My little girl can wheel it around the house easily and loves being able to close the curtains for her doll's naps. :)

Give yourself a little time for construction. And plan to iron the bedding before putting it on the bed (canopy needs ironing, too).

Pros: wheels stay on when you roll it, bed looks very pretty, lightweight so it won't hurt anyone if it tips over on them.

Cons: the mattress provided is nowhere near big enough to cover the ugly mdf base inside the bed (I wrapped mine in a pink blanket), the bars in the top constantly come undone on one side, and the arching pieces which make the top round are flimsy plastic rods which are poorly secured.

We are a family of six children, ages 9 years down to a baby. My daughters love baby dolls, and they take care of them just like a real baby, with the experience to know exactly what that should be like! When I first saw this doll, I was sure it would be adored as it's modeled to look like a real newborn. So, when my 5-year-old needed a new doll for Christmas, as her old one was falling apart, this is what I bought.

This is definitely a very realistic, newborn-like baby doll. It's on a slightly smaller scale, 14" curled up, but the doll is properly proportioned. There are all the appropriate creases and folds, the backbone visible, etc, but the relatively standard non-gender specific features. The posture is that of a newborn baby, curled up. This is a huge plus for my daughters (the 7 yo and 3 1/2 yo like to play with it too).

However, it does differ in some ways from many babydolls. The legs, as mentioned, are curled up like a newborns, and they are not moveable. This doll stays curled up like a baby and can not be stood up to pretend it's an older child or grown-up. Also, the eyes are permanently open; there are no lids.

The big negative for me is that the doll has been perfumed, presumably to smell like a newborn baby. I never use baby powder or scented stuff on my babies, so my babies don't smell perfumed. But even the perfumed babies I've smelled have had a much milder smell than this. When I opened the box, I could immediately smell the scent. I've since washed the baby doll several times with soap and water, as well as handwashing the clothes, and the smell is still there. It's possible it will wear off some with future use, but the doll has been played with for a week, and I can still tell when the baby comes near. The smell might be less bothersome to someone else, as I tend to avoid scented items, but still it is very noticeable. My daughters aren't bothered by the smell, but they can't bring it near me, because it does bother me. NOTE: After almost 1 year of use, the smell has not faded one bit.)

The clothes that came with this doll seem durable enough, though there is a caution to only handwash the diaper and not to wring it dry. Additional clothes for this doll don't seem to be easy to find. It will not fit in standard 14" doll clothes because of being thicker around the torso and curled up. We bought size preemie sleepers, and they're slightly big, but no bigger than a newborn's clothes often are on him/her.

Still, on the whole, I like this baby doll. It's a nice realistic-looking newborn, which is perfect in my family where the children are very used to having baby siblings. It's very educational and lends itself well to pretending to be a mother/father. My main caution is about the fact that the doll is strongly scented, and I would caution against buying it if anyone in your household is sensitive to scents and perfumes.

OK... I just got this baby doll. This is no where in this listing/ pictures showing that you might get the baby doll of a DIFFERENT facial expression. But the one I got is NOT the same as the picture!

I knew there are 2 facial expressions of this doll since I saw it on the JC Toys website. HOWEVER, in this listing, it only shows ONE facial expression! So I thought I was getting the "smiling" one. BUT NO, it turned out the one I got is the one without the smile but an open mouth.

Well I think Amazon should at least tell us which one we're getting, or they should show the picture of the one with a different facial expression so we know we may be getting either one.

I am still keeping this doll as I think it actually looks even more realistic than the smiley one. But for some people, this may be a big deal. So I'd like to tell you this with this review. If you want to see what the other facial expression looks like, you may want to go to the JC Toys website to check it out.

On the good side, as I said, this is a really realistic baby doll! I like the soft vinyl and the cuddling post. Very cute doll!

I had high hopes for this considering the brand name. It does resemble a newborn with a wrinkly body, stick out belly button, newborn hospital bracelet, facial expression, super fine appearance of hair (painted on, not real), body positions, and weight of doll. My daughter was really excited when she saw it but open the box up and get a huge unpleasant surprise! This thing is not lightly scented it is scented with an overpowering great-grandma old perfume kind of smell. How a doll designer decided this was a good scent for a newborn doll is a big mystery. Anything this doll touches, no matter how brief, gets left with the scent on it, including my daughter. I left the doll up in her room and later went upstairs and could smell it from the stairs. During a nap, my daughter wanted it in her crib she and her entire crib smelled of the scent. I had to take everything out and launder it. My daughter no longer will play with it. My husband finds its appearance "freaky" and does not like it at all. The arms and legs are very stiff making changing the doll really difficult and the clothing that comes with it is unimpressive. I don't think this is really intended as a toy doll for a child but the price indicated to me that it was. It's not nice to hold, look at or play with or have in your house, unless you like how it smells.

I love the doll and can't wait for my "dd" to see her Christmas morning. I purchased the open mouthed one from another site. I'm coming here to order the grinning one so she can have twins. There are several places you can order from so look around... if your are not picky on the face style check the Christmas Distributing sites/catalogs. It will be listed as La Newborn real life Doll/or Babies gift set. If ordering from those sites and most eBay sellers (it will come in a small white box).

I attempted to order this doll from the site because the baby w/the grinning face was not available on amazon at the time. is shipping the wrong doll so buyer beware, I placed two orders and both times I was shipped the open mouthed doll not listed on the site. The customer service is out sourced so it is very difficult to return and replace the order it took a call to corp to correct the miscomunication. The review portion of their site does not work so I thought this might be helpful to those of you who are shopping around.

She is scented but it is more of a tea rose smell than baby powder.

Preemie clothes fit but rather loosely, and it is rather difficult to put clothes on her so you will want the extra room. Try preemie diapers to make sleepers fit (zippered fleece works better)and thick socks to fill out the feet.

This is a Non-gender specific doll but very life like, the skin has a soft/silky feel but over all it's a semi firm vinyl body probably a little pokie to sleep with.

This looks like it would cost 45 dollars and it is a wonderful fit for my 4 and 5 year old girls. It is realistic and comes with lots of great clothes. The only surprise I have is that I purchased this at my local Sears store for under $25 and I usually find things cheaper on Amazon. They sell it at Sears online for $27. Hmm. . . However, it is still a great price and I would recommend highly. This is the first doll my girls have liked (other than polly pockets and barbies).

Consumers be advised...these dresses are meant for AMERICAN GIRL dolls and do NOT fit "My Twinn" dolls! We have a My Twinn doll and I just ASSUMED it was the same size as the American Girl dolls (they are both 18" dolls)...but I was WRONG. The dress is very tight on my daughters doll but it DOES fit. However, the dolls do NOT have the same sized feet! The My Twinn doll has feet about an inch LARGER than the American Girl doll. LUCKILY the shoes fit some of my daughters other dolls so we decided to keep them.

Cute dress. I would recommend this seller to anyone who has a young girl! My daughter got these dresses for Cmas and LOVED them! 5 stars (even though they didn't quite fit the doll we bought them for!)

My little girl was so excited about her Rapunzel magiclip castle but within minutes of getting it out of the box the banister fell off the staircase. After the first day, the entire "door" staircase fell off and the top of the tower is coming apart from the bottom of the tower. It is so disappointing to see how quickly and easily this toy fell apart. I snapped the staircase back on but I can't get the top and bottom of the tower to snap back together. My daughter loves the Rapunzel doll that came with this set and would be heartbroken if I returned her. Otherwise, I would have already returned this toy!

I should also mention that the bed fell apart, not that it really matters because the doll doesn't fit on the bed in the tower anyway. And the staircase that opens doesn't even lead to the top floor... my daughter doesn't mind but it makes no sense to me.

Jilliana and Sequin from Fashion Fairytale movie; sooo cute! Wish they had all 4 feet on the ground so they didn't tip over so easily, but they are "posing" I guess. Very cute idea with outfis you can change for the dog and cat. Wish the crown stayed on better. Very cute toy, my 5 1/2 loves it and her 2 1/2 yr old sister really really wants to play with them as well. The pieces are tiny, so be weary of little siblings if they still put things in their mouths!

This set features two Barbie-scale pets from the Fashion Fairytale movie. Sequin the dog is Barbie's pet and the cat is her new friend marie-alecia's. The dogs come with a little play set, interchangeable skirts, a couple of scarves, bone and water dishes. There is surprisingly fun play value since they resemble the movie characters very well and you can put different fashions on them. My 7 year old plays with the pets more than the marie-alecia doll, actually. She has them running around the Barbie doll from the movie.

The dogs are featured pretty prominently in the movie they even have their own scene together. Together with the dog that comes with marie-alecia, you have the entire set of 3 characters neatly. Since they have their own scene in the movie, there's a nice tie in reference that kids can relate to they definitely have the hautiness of the movie characters.

In all, for the price, I think this is a neat little set. The only concern is that there are a lot of little pieces so it helps if you have a small "Fashion Fairytale" bucket holding dolls and dogs in the same place.

This playset is just the window and not the doll pictured. I surmised that from the cost. My complaint is that the window does not look anything like what it pictured. It's tan in color and is smaller in size. Also the description states that you will get a standing backdrop. That is not included in the item that is available for sale. I think that this is most likely a promo picture which does not reflect the actual item you will receive. The playset that includes the doll has the most accurate picture of the window display available. I've also notified Amazon of the discrepancy so hopefully a new picture will be posted for this item soon. Overall it is a nice set.

Very nice doll chair. Fits baby dolls and American Girl dolls. Easy for kids to use if the table attaching to is not too wide. Could snap the plastic if trying to put on too wide of a table. Worked well on about an inch wide table, but had a hard time on a table of about two inches. Didn't want to push too hard to see if it would work and end up with a broken chair, so is just used on thinner tables/desks/counter tops. Stays put when placed without wiggling. Seems to be a good quality chair, or at least similar quality to the more expensive name brand chairs. Used often as a hair styling chair as well. Very cute.
