It is so refreshing to see an 18" dolls with multiple joints, who can be posed in so many different ways. So many of the dolls available in this size, including the most popular one (who shall remain nameless, but you know who they are) only have moveable arms and legs, which doesn't allow very much in the way of posing. The Kidz 'n' Cats, however, can be posed in a variety of ways with their joints at the knees, elbows, and wrists. They are very well made, and their outfits are quite darling. I love these Sonja Hartman dolls above all others in their size group. They may be more expensive, but they are worth it!

One caveat: the American Girl clothing does run a bit large on them.

I got this for my niece for Christmas. The tatto gun is a lot of fun, just don't put too much water in it. The only thing that surprised me was I thought the barbie was just tan, but she's pretty dark. I thought it was pretty funny though, my niece goes to Catholic school so I figured she could use a little ethnicity in her life!

16" - 19" Knitwear Doll Clothes Reviews

My mom found my old Cabbage Patch doll in her storage, and decided to clean it up and send it to my little girl just in time for Christmas. Unfortunately, there were no doll clothes with it. (I suspect they fell victim to a garage sale at some point.) I am trying to make some clothes for her, but my seamstress skills leave much to be desired. So I decided to fill in the stash with some purchased clothes.

It turns out that actual Cabbage Patch cloths (for the 18 inch dolls) are out of my price range. Most of the other clothes I found mentioned American Girl in the description, and I can't really imagine outfits designed for the slender silhouette of the AG dolls fitting a CP's chubby frame. I took a gamble on these because they were more vague in the description. So glad I did. The outfits are all really cute, and fit my doll quite well. The red "t-shirt" is a little on the tight side, but I did get it on and off without too much trouble and even managed to velcro it closed. The other shirts were all cut slightly larger than the red, and the pants, overalls, and dresses were perfect.

One thing that surprised me and this is mostly a failure on my part, I think is that I was expecting cotton knit (like a t-shirt). The clothes are actually sweater fabric, (all of them, not just the sweaters.) If you care about doll clothes looking like real baby clothes, that might be a problem. It also means I will have to be careful about washing them in the right cycle.

I bought these for an 18' baby doll, however the Velcro openings at neck/back are very short. Made it very hard to get clothes on doll over head and arms inside clothes. My 4 year old who is very good at dressing dolls and herself needs my help with these clothes. The clothes are knit so be careful because the Velcro does get caught on the clothes and snags them. I think the clothes might do better on a smaller doll.

If a little girl is into Barbie, this doll has it all... cute clothes and hair, hair, hair! In addition to having fabulous hair to begin with, she comes with a clip-on hair piece! For those of you with children who love Monster High, Toralei is "rare" and highly desired. If you try to buy her separately, you will pay way more. Even though this just came with the Toralei doll and not her animal, it was a hit. Just getting Toralei will make you a superstar. The price was reasonable compared to other outlets that I found. It's a fun 3 pack for the Monster High fan.

This is a Toys R Us exclusive. I was lucky enough to find these girls today , In Toys R Us . I snagged them up for retail price ( 42.99 ) and even got a free Monster High Throw for spending over forty dollars. The main reason I bought this set was because of the ever elusive Toralei. I don't foresee myself being able to get my hands on the original Toralei, so finding this one is a nice surprise.

Toralei, Meowlody, and Purrsephone all come in their fearleading outfits. The outfits are black with pink and white ribbon detailing around the waist and hem. The Monster high logo is emblazoned on the chest of the outfit, again in pink and white . A pink collar detail completes the rather simple outfit.

All three of the girls come with white high heeled sneakers, with pink and black detailing that resembles lightening bolts. Even the actual heels of the shoes mimics bolts of lightening.

You also receive a small MH tote bag that opens and three megaphones in black, white and pink. One for each of the werecats. These dolls also come with three stands and one hairbrush.

Toralei's hair is heavily hairsprayed by Mattel and I would not recommend trying to brush it, unless you really want to try and restyle it. Meowlody and Purrsephone both have softer wings that are easily brushed. Each sister sports one streak of heavily sprayed hair. These streaks have black stripes that have been painted on. Do Not brush these strands of hair or you will end up ruining the effect of the paint and your doll will look like she has dirty hair.

Toralei is the only werecat sporting any sort of jewelry. She has a barbell earring in her right ear and two small hoops in her left ear. Meowlody and Purrsephone come with one cardboard pom-pom each.

Overall these dolls don't have the most stunning of details in their dress or accessories, but once again for me this set is all about Toralei. I know she is going to look amazing on my shelf.

I don't know why, but I just love all the werecats in the monster high collection. I know their purrsonalities aren't the greatest in the shows, but they're adorable! I love the exaggerated look to Toralei's eyes, and the sort of opposite look to the twins! On the downside they do look like the previous release dolls, just in a different outfit, the hair and makeup is the same on all three to their previous versions. I wish they had the pom poms more like the other fearleading set, instead of the cardboard pictures of pom poms. All that aside they're still a very cute addition to any collection!

Bought this when it was on a good sale and "santa" gave it to dd and she loved it. It does come with the accessories shown and these dolls are about the size of the Kelly dolls but a bit more to them and much easier to dress. That is why i went to these dolls instead. We also bought the other dolls and sets to go with so now she has so much fun with them all.

my 5 year old granddaughter wanted an American Girl doll. I chose this option for the look alike quality and price, not doing if my granddaughter would care for it. Today's Girl with wardrobe is a good value. My granddaughter was thrilled! For her, Today's Girl is an American Girl. My only complaint about the wardrobe is the shoes. I had a difficult time getting the shoe to fit the doll. My granddaughter was not able to put the shoes on the doll. the fit was very tight.

My daughter LOVES this doll! She is always asking for her "baby" everywhere she goes. She got this for her 1st birthday. She liked it then, but now, at 18 months she carries it with her everywhere and sleeps with it! It is super cuddly (like a regular stuffed animal) and the face is even flexible and smooth. I know Corolle can be a bit more expensive but I think is worth it because they are simple and practical.
