I'm glad I bought this for my daughter for xmas and the price came down to $69 with free shipping so I couldn't beat that. I tried to order this through Mattel and the shipping was absurd and since we live overseas Amazon was the way to go. I can't wait when my daughter wakes up on xmas morning, she will love this. she watches the commercial for this all the time...

UPdate: my daughter loves this toy set however, it took my husband and I a while to hang this on the wall since the strips were useless. We had to use nails in between the toys where there are holes so it would stay. Needless to say, this toy is a hit with our daughter but she does ask for help to put it up since they fall off....they need stronger strips or use something else enterily. This is a great concept because it doesn't take up so much room on the floor but it was just frustrating with the strips. ANd now that the price came down, I'm beating myself up with that too since this toy set isn't worth what I paid for. The toys are flimsy, not very durable, I'm just glad that Barbie toys are much more dominant in our house...

My daughter received this set for Christmas. It included 4 Polly dolls and accessories with suction cups so they stick on the wall set. Great toy because my daughter didn't watch tv for 2 days after getting it! Such a fun toy!

This was purchased as a Christmas present for my 4 year old daughter. I did not like the idea of having my wall permanently covered with Polly pocket. Luckily, santa was pretty clever this year. He purchased a 4' X 4' piece of white board and attached the entire play set to it using the included strips. It can now be easily moved to any room or just out of the way.

Our daughter was delighted to see the entire thing set up on Christmas morning and still plays with it a couple times a week. It appears to be well made and does not fall off of the board.

My 7 year old grand daughter wanted some Polly Pockets for her birthday. I went to Amazon to pick out a couple of play sets and saw this combined item. It was on sale for almost 1/2 off, and cost less than what three of the different sets would have cost individually. So it was a no brainer to just go ahead and get them all in one purchase.

To make the play set moveable from room to room, I bought two tri-fold presentation boards at Dollar General, then glued them together for a more substantial "wall". The different play sets came packaged separately and they were very easy to put together. They fit perfectly on the "wall", which can be used on the floor, on a table, against a wall, wherever she would want to play.

What a hit! She LOVED it, and I found out later that she had seen this item in a tv commercial and had said that she wanted it. Perfect. I bought a small drawer container to hold the dolls and accessories -along with enough room for her other Pollys -and that's what I wrapped as the gift. While she was opening the dolls, we brought the wall of play sets into the room. Good thing it was the last gift she opened as she immediately went to the wall and that was that, she was there for the longest time playing with it.

I ordered the doll for my four-year-old after she saw it on TV. It was defective right out of the box. Amazon was great about accepting the return and had a new one to us the very next day! The second doll stopped working in 3 days. This is not really a big deal (except for the money spent, of course) since my daughter has found the doll to be quite boring. It moves slightly to the music but that is about it. Very disappointing!

I have never seen any of the Baby born dolls, but this one is definitely unique. At over a foot tall and made of durable plastic, she is quite the dancing baby! She comes with a cute shirt, skirt, and headband, as well as painted on shoes. Her headband drives me a little nuts because it falls down easily but that could also be kid-error! Baby born dances around by bobbing her head and legs, her little waist moving about. Her arms don't move with the music, but they can be easily posed. With the included cable you can easily hook up your MP3 player for some kid-friendly music your kids already love or just push her belly button for a quick song "Dance with me baby." She also dances faster the faster the music is! Her legs are a little weird because her joints are made to move but she is pretty durable. My 3 year old loves to push her belly button and dance around! She is very silly and cute, as well as easy to use! She does require 4 AA batteries but they are included.

So, I am giving this doll 4 stars because while I find the thing a little creepy, my 2 year old daughter is infatuated with it. We took her to Toys R Us on her 2nd birthday and she insisted that this is what she wanted. That was over 3 months ago and she is still playing with it regularly. It doesn't have a ton of features but she is perfectly happy to dance around with it.

I was reluctant to purchase this doll since there were so many bad reviews. My 3 year old had been asking for the doll for several weeks so we bought it as an Easter gift. The doll is very cute and does everything it advertises to do. My daughter loves it. We haven't had any problems with it malfunctioning as some other of the reviews have stated. My only complaint is the doll is really loud and there is no volume control.

Our granddaughters both loves the Disney Princess Dolls and all have looked really nice except for Snow White. This year when I went to look for one for our 3 year old granddaughter I was surprised to find this Snow White. She really is a beautiful doll all the way from her gown to her hair and facial features. Now, that being said, there are some draw backs. The shoes do not stay on no matter how many times you put them on her, they fall right back off with the slightest movement, which irritated our granddaughter. Now I realize that these Disney Princess Dolls are alot like the typical "Barbie" in that you can change the shoes and outfits, but they really need to do something about the way the shoes fit. But even though we have to glue them on to keep our granddaughter happy, she still absolutely adores her Snow White and wouldn't trade her for anything. A great buy for any little "Princess'" out there.

We paid $26.99 for this at Target, because we couldn't find it at Toys R Us. I wonder if it is because this is a toy guaranteed to be returned as soon as it's taken out of the box. In fact, we had more fun trying to take it out of the box than we actually did playing with it.

First, it looks ok, but you'll soon see that Barbie isn't able to bend very well into the sink, so you'll wind up holding her at a ninety degree angle in order to lean her back.

As another reviewer said, you can't open the container where you're supposed to put in the soap fully, so that's cumbersome, which would be ok, I guess, if this toy was intended for 40 year old moms to play with. Then, exactly like another reviewer said, the lines were kinked, so the cheap pump that you use to pump the water/soap combo barely dribbled the soap out and then stopped completely. You wind up with a handful of Barbie bent into the sink with about six drops of suds muddying up the color in her hair. You know what IS fun? The fact that you then take Barbie over to your kitchen sink and accidentally but enjoyably douse her face with the shampoo you squirted into her hair so you could finally wash out the stripes you painstakingly tried to color on with a marker. Then you waterboard her under the tap. And voila, Barbie is clean. And wet. And messy. And all ready to return to Target.

This toy doesn't work. It's cheaply made and too expensive. Save your money by spending 4 bucks on a cheap Barbie at the drugstore, wash her hair under the faucet with some shampoo, and buy yourself a pizza instead.

The idea of this toy is great for a little girl..

The issues is that you must mix shampoo which is easy however the water barely dribbles out of the tap the soap does not come out.

The pump to get the water and soap is a finger pump which is a poorly made and just lets the water dribble..

The hair color makers are a great idea and that part gets a 8/10 not a 10 as they are a little hard to control as the colors run on other hair...

So you can easily color the hair but do not think that you can actually wash the hair we can not even get the soap to come out when it is replaced with water...

basically the barbie and hair color is OK, the Salon that you are paying the money for will not work...

My niece got this for her birthday today, and she's having a blast. The part with the mirror is flimsy, but the sink and chair, the parts that actually get played with, are sturdy enough. Barbie fits well in the chair, almost snaps in, and her head and the chair bend back so that when my niece rinsed her hair the water went in the sink. And the knees bend way better than the Barbie knees of my childhood!

It took a few tries for my niece to be able to get the hair where she needed it to be, pump the water pump, and hold the sprayer, but she figured it out.

The markers worked much better on wet hair, but they worked ok on dry hair if she went over it a few times.

I didn't have any trouble with the shampoo, but in the directions it said to mix it 1 part shampoo to two parts water. Because of the other reviewers that had trouble with the shampoo, I diluted it to the consistency of water. It still sudsed a little, and my niece was happy. The hoses come kind of kinked, but were fairly easily unkinked. I do wish it were packed better so this wouldn't happen.

One thing that isn't in the instructions is that the containers for the soap and clean water are not made to come all the way out. Only the container for the dirty water comes all the way out. I had to make sure my niece didn't pull them out, because I think that would have broken it.

The markers do seem to stain, so I'd wear a paint shirt and cover your surface with an old towel before you play, inevitably the water spills.

It comes with two elastics (hair pretties in our world), but you might want to have more on hand, they were tricky to get on there. Also, my niece wanted 6 braids because she just turned six.

I totally agree with the negative comments. I ordered this for my granddaughter and she was so excited to try it..but that lasted for about 5 minutes. The water did not work properly. So like the other reviewers, my daughter got this as a gift and she was so excited. The water pump worked, but the shampoo didn't. I read the instructions, and they were not helpful in the least. So I looked online, and read about the foaming handsoap (which is great by the way), but that didn't fix my problem.

But here's the solution for mine.

Symptom: I could feel resistance when I pushed down on the "water" pump, but there was no resistance when it was turned to the "shampoo." So it was either a hose completely undone, or something else. I filled the "shampoo" bucket with water, and there was no leak. I took out the "purple" bucket (sink water catch) and looked inside -you need to pull the shampoo bucket out as much as you can. If you look inside, the front left corner near the "finger pump" has two cylinders (like a car). When you twist the finger pump, the plastic piece goes over (on top) of the cylinder...

In my case, the shampoo cylinder was too high, and the plastic piece couldn't get on top. Therefore, there was no resistance, yet no water leak.

Solution: With the purple bucket out, work your finger into the front left corner, and just push the shampoo cylinder down a bit. Then twist the finger pump, and it worked. It's now working fine.

I really like this set. I didn't like the mismatched boot look the original Cloetta Spelletta has. I like her original pink/black dress and other items, but thought it would look best with black boots, like the ones here. I got a set on the cheap and wow, the clothes are nice. Instead of the dress, I have her in this, sitting on my shelf. The skirt is neat. It can be worn alone or I might pair it with a Victorian skirt that is long because it looks like a Victorian overskirt (can't remember the actual term for the folded ones that bunch up in the front). It would work great for a steampunk look too. The purse opens, which is neat, when I see pink and black I can't help of thinking of Monster High's Draculaura and how great she'd look in this outfit too, at least the pink and black parts. The hat, which doesn't have a tie, fits over Cloetta Spelletta's original witch hat. It fits pretty good over it and then I don't have to create a tie and I think this is how the people who made this wanted it to be. It comes with scarves for her pet too. I don't have the pet, but the scarves look good on dolls too. Overall, I think this is a set with a lot of potential, both as a complete set and put with other Bratzillaz or Monster High clothing for an unique look. These clothes are decent quality for the price and slip over the hands of the doll very easily so you don't have to pop off the hands. At least with Bratzillazs. I haven't put this on a Monster High doll yet. I wanted to add this yellow and black skirt's back doesn't fall straight in the back, it is more to the right. It isn't like the photos here. I am not sure if they all are slightly askew or just mine is, but I like the look all the same. Maybe if I get some time, I'll take a photo of it, because it looks jaunty that way.

I don't find the clothes trashy at all. What you see is what you get. I don't know why everyone gets upset over their tattoos. They are fun dolls that teach kids about imagination and positive thinking, which is what spells are all about. Plus, I really like the whole steampunk/Victorian inspiration yet modern take on their outfits.

My grandchild asked for bratzillas and their clothing. I ordered the sets of them from amazon, so far so good.

I had only seen the dolls and clothes on line and did not see all the markings

on the dolls. The faces are creepy. I am an avid doll collecter/maker and have a higher standard

than the cheapness of these dolls and their clothing. We opted for a more educational doll with books

teaching some history of the historical era of the doll. It was her first choice anyway.

The price of the doll with books and accessories was about the same as the set of bratzillas and their all clothes.

Granted the outfits for the doll we opted for are a bit more, but I sew so the doll will not be without changes of clothing. All in all , a better

"fit", more age appropriate, and much better quality.

Vinessa is a beautiful doll.

Ive had her for a very long time as she's been out for a while in Australia.

Her skin isnt orange as it appears in some photos but the same color as fianna and yasmin. Her hair is a bleachy blonde color but it actually goes extremely well with her tanned skin, but its one of those life seeing things.

She comes with all these accesories except instead of a medal a trophy.

She has a little spinning thing she can stand on and spin. Her arms and legs react with eachother so if you pull her leg back her arms go up. In her box there is a guide how to achive the positions.

In my opinion Vinessa is the prettiest of her, Dana and Yasmin but thats just me. This doll is worth any price, [in my case $40] she will supply endless fun

My 6 year old daughter got this for Christmas from Santa Claus! From the picture this doll looks like she has soft and easy to brush hair. But, her hair is actually very coarse (just like a barbi dolls) and difficult to brush. It is thick and easily gets tangled and in tiny knots when styling. It is so thick it's hard to pull it into a pony tail with a normal size elastic. It is top heavy and tips over with each brushing or styling. This aspect was poorly designed. The booklet and pictures on the box of different styles you can do with this doll are not realistic. When paying high dollar I expect an amazing product.

We do like that my daughter will be able to use this to learn to braid. And this is a sturdy product.

My 6 year old daughter likes it and it isn't slutty looking like the Moxie Girls one, which I returned because it looked like a porn star. This one is innocent and actually looks like a little girl and is easy to use for her.

We bought this doll head for our 7 year old for the holidays. She immediately decided to wash the hair and give it a "bath". Amazingly, the doll survived and the hair is still thick and lustrous. She has applied make-up to the head and been able to wash it off, and she has been able to brush through the hair and create multiple styles. Our 11 year old, who thought she had out grown such things, saw her sister enjoying it so much that she has joined in the fun also. It has been a hit of the holidays. The only cause for pause is the price point, I still don't quite understand why it had to be so expensive. However, no hair has pulled out yet so I'm very pleased. This doll looks like it has a thick head of hair, but if you attempt to part it in the middle, as you would for most hairstyles that involve pigtails or braids, you find out that it is really sparse in the middle, like someone who has a pretty severe hair loss problem.

My 5-year old daughter loves her original full-sized Corolle doll, but this is a disappointment.

As other reviewers noted, this is a smaller item than you might expect. The head is the size of a grapefruit. It comes with a brush, 2 scrunchies, a clip-on braid, and another clip. That's it. My 6-year old daughter enjoys brushing and styling the hair and the brush that it comes with works pretty well. All in all, my daughter is happy with this item, and that is the only reason it's "worth it". I have no idea why this tiny head of hair costs so much.

We got this dollhouse on sale which it seems to do on regular intervals. Compared to other gender neutral dollhouses this one is an amazing dollhouse for the price. I don't mind seeing it sitting in my livingroom one bit. It's very easy for the kids to play with: four little kids can all play at once without getting in each other's way. And it's durable. In several months of daily play, it seems like it will hold up for a good long time. We were extremely expressed with the amount of furniture and accessories that come with the house even a rubber duckie! I didn't think the roof change would be kid friendly but my 3 year old can do it without help. I get lots of positive comments from friends that come and play and have a couple Hape products on my kids' Christmas list because we're very happy with this one. My two year old tends to take furniture and dolls out of the house, play next to it and then put them back and change it up unless she is playing with other kids.

My kids: 2 & 3-1/2. Kids who come and play 1-1/2 to 6-1/2. Kids yonger than 18 months don't show any interest. We don't have friends older than 6-1/2 so I don't know where the upper limit is. This dollhouse will definitely be "cool" as long as kids will play dollhouse for, though.

Pros:

Durable, Easy to Set Up, Lots of Furnitire & Accessories, pleasant to look at for both adults & children.

Cons:

This really should include a flight of stairs for each level. My 3 year old has picked up on this quirk during play and will make his people jump between the level without the stairs. Add another flight of stairs and this is a solid five star product. I considered making it 5 stars even with this feature missing.

Not specifically about this product so I didn't include it in my star rating: The Hape people that are sold seperately seem to be moderately durable. The hair is showing wear after a few months and I suspect they won't stand as well after some time. They are good but not great. I wish we had looked into other peoples instead of just settling on the ones that went with the house.

Bottom line:

If you want a gender neutral dollhouse, get this house. You won't be sorry.

We bought one for our 3 year old for Christmas and I just finished putting it together. I had the same issue as another buyer, with misaligned drilling. I almost gave up b/c I bought this thinking it would be an heirloom item and it just looked cheap with spaces between the "floor" and edge of the house since nothing would line up. It took a lot of manipulating the "beams" and floor pieces but I was able to get everything put together properly. It looks really nice and I'm still excited about it, but I now wish I had gone a different route. I really wanted something that could be passed down generations and I'm not sure this is going to cut it. It seems like the hex screws will need repeated tightening and eventually they'll just turn and turn and it won't be a solid product. Considering re-enforcing the house someway but not sure how. I know my little will love it (it really is fun) but for the money (I paid over one-sixty after tax) I expected better craftsmanship.

I spend a very long time researching doll houses before settling on this one. Though it is one of the better deals due to the fact that it has enough furniture to be functional (so you can buy up more over time), it falls short in other areas. First off, the wood pieces didn't line up properly so some of the pieces are at an angle. Not a huge deal unless you are a perfectionist in which case, it will drive you crazy. Not that well made either. I'm sure it will last through my daughter, but I doubt it will hold up to pass along.

Also, it is a bit smaller than I expected. Good if you have a smaller space, but not great for more than one kid at a time to play. My biggest criticism is that there is no set of stairs to get from the kitchen/tv room to the bedroom. My daughter is 2 and has picked up on this and keeps asking me why the dolls have to jump to get to the mommy-room. My last note as to why I gave it 2 stars is that it could have more rooms. Not really enough space to fill up with some of the other fun stuff Hape sells.

As others have stated, this is hard to assemble.

It is worth the price and is very large but the quality control isn't the best so all of the holes aren't drilled in quite the right spots. With some things that wouldn't be a problem, but this is designed in such a way that it causes it to be very difficult to get together.

I am very good at putting things together (I'm an engineer by day), and it took me about an hour to get this fully assembled and I had to use a few different tools.

For me, the floors wouldn't go in the slots right because the holes on the wooden pieces were off by a few millimeters. And since they are only off by a tiny bit, it would be almost impossible to redrill them without breaking it.

But the wood is of good quality, and like I said, it is very large. It is a fun toy, and my kids love it. I would probably buy one again, but I dont think I would recommend any of my friends buy one.

Gift for my granddaughter's 2nd birthday.... it was a huge hit! EASY for my son to put together quickly (as she opened the rest of her gifts) and then she and a 3-year-old guest (boy) were fascinated with it. I LOVED it.... but wished it had come with one more set of stairs (one set of stairs for each change of level). Also think it will need a brace underneath the front 'balcony' because it is tempting for children to lean on the balcony when playing and I foresee its breaking. And some of the very contemporary furniture is difficult to decipher (is it a table? a chair?) Otherwise it's excellent.... allows for great creative play, simple, colorful, easy to access the rooms, and the children loved it.

I am a collector of My Scene Barbies, and I really love the originality of this collection. The clothes of course are gorgeous, like always with My Scene! The one thing that I was kind of disappointed by is that the dolls do not hold the "facial poses." I imagined being able to pose my dolls on my shelf, each having a different expression--smirk, pout, etc. However, the doll only holds the expression while you are pushing down the button/stick. Each doll has five buttons attached to a stick on their back, and pushing and holding one creates the facial expression that the button is labeled with. Another drawback is that the buttons are labeled with little brown smiley faces that can be partially rubbed off on some dolls, and they look like a child drew them on with marker. They don't look "factory." I had to bring my Nolee back to the store because one of the buttons was tearing off of it's stick. Unfortunately, all the other Nolee's in the store had slight rubs on their buttons, so I had to pick the one that looked the best. Oh well. This is still a great collection. I recommend buying the dolls in person in the store if you are a picky collector like me and want perfection! Look for dolls that don't have odd looking faces in the box when no sticks are pressed and held down, no rubs on the smiley faces of the buttons, and no tearing off of the buttons from the sticks.

This doll is precious. I love how its faces change! I got it when I got my lindsay lohan doll on clearance. However, there is one thing I'm not too keen about on this doll: her surprised face, and her impressed face look the same.... Anyways, her accessories are good, she has a fancy dress, crown, extra clothes, sweet and sassy boots, and and lots of makeup. Very neat, unique collection, chelsea is my fave.

The first one is a beautiful glittery purple lace gown with a flower-like pattern.It comes with silver-purple high heel sandals,that are certanly not made for walking.There is also a white fur,fake fur of course,a beautiful silver-purple tiara with matching earrings,necklace and braclet.And last,but certanly not least a purple handbag with Chelsea's cute dog in it named Churro.

3.The second outfit is more casual,but yet glamurous.It is contained of an adorable pink top with no sleeves and a beautiful pair of silver shorts with a silver belt.This outfit comes with sassy silver-purple boots and another necklace.

4.Accessories-the doll comes with loads of accessories,or to say: a silver cell phone,pink sunglasses,pink lipstick,a purple hair clip for the doll(I think),a white puffy thing used to add powder and a makeup container shaped like a butterfly.For the doll's hair,a beautiful one of a kind silver tiara shaped comb.And that is not all.Along with all this fab things you get a silver tiara made just for you.

"Fab Faces" is right! You can change Chelsea's face with the push of a button (no, really...), on her back! Chels comes with a tiara (for girl), another outfit, really cute boots, THE softest boa, TONS of accessories. Her dress is purple and lacy and oh so cute, plus those shoes are too die for! If I were to recommend a series of dolls it would be this series. Fab Faces ROCK!!

Like I always say...Hope this helps in future purchases!

P.S.This doll is very durable but after awhile the buttons do stick. Still, a great doll for every one! :P

I purchased this doll for my granddaughter who had requested a Barbie "I Can Be" doll. I was really delighted when I found a computer engineer doll, since that is her interest, and doubly delighted to find an African-American doll in that category.

My granddaughter loves the doll.It was for her 10th birthday.

The only problem that presented itself is that there is a computer game associated with it. The code that was sent did not work.

After many calls I was able to reach a human at Mattel, who looked into it. She called back and gave a new code.

We have not yet had time to try the new code.

I also think it would save time and frustration to be able to send an email at any time to customer service who could then answer.

Otherwise you have to wait until business hours Monday-Friday to even try to contact anyone.
