I am 13 years old, but I love this doll. I love all my Barbies! This one is super cute, and comes with really fashionable clothes. She has a small braid on the side of her hair, and her lips are textured pink sparkles. The necklace she comes with stays on really well, it doesn't slip off if you make her bend over. Her legs are not bendy like her arms. The purse will stay on her if you put it on her shoulder. Overall, this is a great Barbie!

And I've seen some people comment on other So in Style dolls and say that they are not real Barbies, but this is NOT true. They ARE Barbie brand, created by a woman who says that she wants to see girls playing with more African-American Barbies. They are all very fashionable and durable, and ARE Barbies.

My daughter loved this doll.. And she still plays with it along with her many others... But yes it's a great doll. She was 8 when i purchased it for her.

I have not opened the box yet, it's a gift for my neice. I'm sure she'll enjoy it. I just inspected her inside the packaging and it's a nice looking doll but from what i can see, they didn't do the best job with her "weave"...it looks like a weave. You know... you don't see any "scalp". I can't wait to open the box and get a closer look at why the hair is not smooth and in the dolls head like normal. Instead it looks sort of put together...I will update this after we open the gifts.

Overall, it's a nice looking doll but the hair is the 2nd thing I noticed.
