This is a very cool and edgy doll in a punk-ish type outfit. She is extremely pretty and has goth type make-up. The sturdiness of the doll is great, she's made of a heavier plastic than the typical Barbie. We like her proportions longer arms, bigger hands and feet than traditional Barbies. She can wear some Barbie clothing, but not all. She can't wear typical Barbie shoes. The red streaks in her hair and her heavy eyeliner are well done. Too bad her legs do not move. This was a slight disappointment. She would be better if her legs moved. A fully posable version would be great too.

I wasn't sure if it would appeal to a nine year old, but she loved it! She has dozens of Barbie dolls, but this one stands out in her collection. Definitely not the same old boring blonde Barbie. Highly recommend!

This Barbie (of a line I hadn't really heard of) was much cuter than I thought it was going to be. She came in her very stylish dress and tights and even had eyelashes! Eeeee!! As I am a grown woman and this barbie is my "muse" for our friends getting together to play what we like to call "Barbie Project Runway", I think she will work out awesome for what I am planning.

She's a lovely doll, and there's a lot of nice detail. I for one like the rooted eyelashes and fashion tights. But this is most definitely not a doll for children; not even older children. She has three points of articulation total: the neck and the arms. There's absolutely no budging the legs or the waist, so she's very good at standing upright but if you're looking for a neat-o keen doll to play with and/or dress up, you're better off looking at the Barbie Basics line. They won't pop apart at a little rough handling, unlike the Crimson Diva here.

I got this for my 7year old grandaughter, and while she liked her it was strange that she looked at me and said "she looks like a girl that does bad things".......guess it's the dark hair and goth look? not sure. anyway she liked it. Next time I'll be a little more selective when I buy a Barbie doll.
