We bought this very cute outfit to add to a Bfc ink doll that was purchased with swimming suit. The doll was 19.99 and the outfit was 14.99(nearly as much as the actually doll). This was a birthday present for my daughter and after just a few days we noticed black on the dolls hands. I couldn't imagine how it got there and was bewildered for weeks.

I tried to get it out and it faded but still was very discolored. I thought "This couldn't be the black pants(?)....surely the manufacturer prewashed them(?)." Well, sure enough, when I removed the pants, her doll had black all over its legs, consequently ruining doll.

Unfortunely we had to return doll and the outfit. We also explained the defect to our local retailer. I called the manufacture and they were unaware and in disbelief of this issue.

This not only ruined the Bfc doll my daughter had grown attached to, this defect could also very easily ruin an entire collection if the owner is unware of where the dye is coming from and continues to use the outfit on other dolls (this is extremely likely for a young little girl). I hope others read this review before making the same mistake of using this defective outfit on their pretty dolls.

We will continue loving the BFC ink collection, dolls and outfits. We are just very disappointed in this particular outfit and the manufacturers ignorance to this issue.

This doll outfit came fast and well packaged. The previous reviews were right about the pants not being dyed correctly. I tried hand washing the pants in mild soap and had LOADS of dye wash out and still they were dark as night. I decided to throw the pants in with the darks laundry and washed them 2 more times using tide and oxy clean before they were safe to put on Yuko and not have dye rub off on her legs. the 2 shirts and boots are awesome with no issues and mix and match well. I had to have this outfit for the Ugg stle boots for our Bfc dolls. Too cute and worth the money if you are willing to treat the pants.

MY CHILDREN HAVE THE DOLLS AND THIS OUTFIT IN PARTICULAR. WE HAVE FOUND THE PANTS FROM THIS OUTFIT TO BE LEAKING DYE ON THE FEET AND HANDS OF THE DOLL. IF THE MANUFACTURER COULD PLEASE CHECK OUT THIS ITEM, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT. I'VE NOTICED IT ON THE PANTS AND THE DOLLS HANDS AND FEET ARE NOW STAINED. THE TOP SEEMS TO BE OK AND THE BOOTS ARE ADORABLE. I HOPE SOMEONE COULD GET BACK TO ME ON THIS. THANK YOU.

The other buyers are correct, these pants stain the doll's legs and hands, seemingly permanently. We have washed her with soap and it does not come off. Very disappointing. I hope we find something to get this off of the doll.
