We bought this doll for my daughter right around the time she turned 1 so that she could have a baby in the bath tub. She loved playing with her other baby, but wanted to put her in the tub, so I thought this doll would be perfect. Her other doll was a soft, cuddly cloth doll, but she really took to this doll too. She wanted to keep playing with the doll outside the tub, but there's no way I could let her do that since the doll would take in so much water while in the bath. There is 1 small hole in the dolls bottom to try to get the water out, but it is impossible to get it all. I have to squeeze the doll while my daughter's still in the tub because that way the plastic is warm. If you wait until after bath time is over and the doll cools, it is very difficult to get much water out. It is so frustrating! We always leave the doll sitting over a plastic container in hopes that more water will come out, but usually it doesn't. Sometimes my daughter picks the doll up to play with her and ends up getting water all over herself or the house. We've also had 1 of the legs pop off recently when we were trying to squeeze the water out and I was able to see how disgusting the inside of the doll has gotten. It is turning black and I've also noticed the discoloration from the outside of the doll. We've had the doll for about 9 months, but I plan to throw her away soon and try a different doll. I think I may try the Corolle Tidoo bath doll since it is soft and has a hook to hang the doll. My daughter loves having a doll in the tub with her, but I wish they made these bath dolls cheaper since (at least this doll) won't even last a year.

Water gets stuck in it and bacteria grows to easy. Not a good idea for little ones....Using it outside is even worse.

this can be for a boy or girl doll is neutral enough to pretend it is a boy, if you want. our son loves to wash his baby & great way to introduce body parts. doll is very durable and arms/legs are easy for child to move.
