The hair! Oh, the hair! We bought this because my daughter is very interested in hair right now and was constantly unraveling her Abby Cadabby doll's yarn hair. We thought this doll's long hair would be just the thing. Alas, it is thin and instantly tangles. It is so thin that it can't even be pulled into a ponytail without bald spots. The first gentle combing, a fifth of the hair was lost. The rest seems well attached. It is a strange length. With just a centimeter or two more, all the hair could be caught up in a ponytail. As it is, it just catches into one and then immediately escapes. The face is sweet and looks like a baby Barbie or Cinderella. The dolls of other races look just as cute and we will be getting the African-American potty training doll from this series for Christmas. This doll fits in the Fisher-Price stroller, but a younger child will need help getting her loose again.
We've named her Inga and my daughter loves her even though the tights, headband and boots are on the shelf until she is older and she has ratty hair.

I got this for my 7 year old today. She likes the tu tu on this doll. I think that the doll is pretty however, I think the other little mommy dolls with the short hair are cuter and the eyes aren't painted on like this one. The eyes look more real on the ones with the shorter hair and also the little mommy sweet as me dolls with the shorter hair are easier to manage as far as hair goes and look cuter. The hair on this doll is uneven and hard for a child especially a younger child to manage. The hair is cut choppy and uneven. Hopefully, they will keep making the dolls with the shorter hair but I haven't seen them in stores lately. I don't like this new version of dolls but my daughter seems to like her new doll mainly because she likes the tu tu outfit.
