All three of our grand daughters ages 2, 3, and 7, love Madeline. I loved her as a young girl and introduced her to them this year through books, movies and now, the dolls. This soft doll is perfect for Lillie, age 3. When she opened her Christmas package she screamed, "Madeline!". She hasn't left her side and is great for cuddling at night. I got this doll for my niece who is called Madeline. It was for her first birthday. It is a gorgeous soft doll, just perfect for a little person and she loved it. I hope they spend lots of time together and have lots of adventures just like the French Madeline

Before taking my 4yr old twin granddaughters to the local children's theater for the play, Madeline's Christmas, I presented them each with a doll. They loved them. They held them throughout the play and snuggled them tenderly. They were excited that her coat comes off, and I was happy that the hat does not. A great gift and so fun to see the smiles on their faces.
