This Barbie doll wears a suit made of bright pink material with a red/white/blue trim around the collar. Her arms are articulated but she does come with the very cheap feeling hollow body. Note that she is meant for standing on her own and perhaps striking some poses with her articulated arms. She doesn't redress as easily since the shoes have a special design to keep her stable when standing and are on her feet permanently. Also, you can't separate the pink undertop from the jacket it's attached.

I think this is the fourth or fifth Barbie for president doll. And there are four versions of this doll with different skin tones and hair colors, which is nice. She was professionally done by an up and coming designer but is surprisingly bland for Barbie lacking the sparkle and interest we usually see in a Barbie.

This Barbie does stand firmly but it only takes a little shake to knock her over, as well. I think she is made more for the shelf than for little girls to play with, though.

Asian dolls are hard to locate! Just go into any toy store, and you'll see plethora of blue-eyed, blonde-haired dolls. But, you'll be lucky to find one Asian doll. I think this doll is a great find at a great price! This doll was shipped quickly and met my expectations.

My girl is so used to playing with blonde Barbies she didnt know what to do with this. She said it's ok, I'm pretending to be Barbie cos I'm wearing a wig LOL.

This doll IS Asian despite what a previous comment has stated. However, this doll, of all the Asian Barbies, looks MOST like a Filipina doll (aside from the actual Philippine Barbie from the Dolls of the World Collection). I am Filipina and my daughter is 1/2 Filipina and 1/2 Slovak....which is ultimately why I purchased this doll. My 5 yr. old daughter has begun to ask about our culture and why she has dark hair and eyes instead of blonde hair and blue eyes like most of her Disney Princess & Barbie dolls. I also like this doll because of its message of aspirations for a young little Asian girl. It's a great doll! We have no complaints yet with respect to wear and tear because it's so new. Will follow up once we've had it for a while. So far, we would recommend this doll!

-shoes don't come off (to let you know.)
