My daughter loves barbies and asked for a Liv doll after seeing a commerical. I am usually not one to jump to buy something my kids see on tv because they have been disappointed in the past. The price was so good I thought I would buy one. My daughter loves this doll. The joints all move , so unlike barbie the Liv dolls are easily posable and much easier to dress. The face is also more realistic. My daughter enjoys the website as well. This doll was well worth it. This christmas I am buying a few more of these dolls and less barbies.

My daughter loved this doll until the hair stopped staying on. It is supposed to be removable/changeable, but now, it doesn't stay on and none of the other hair styles will stay either. She likes it well enough with the painted/short hair, but I know she would have preferred if the hair stuck around.

These dolls are great! They are VERY posable (and life-like), and I love changing their wigs to give them different looks. Since I turned 13, I don't really play with dolls anymore, but I enjoy posing them, changing their fashions, and photographing them. The only thing I don't like about Katie is her shoes (they're ugly!). By the way, Katie's stock photo shows her with a headband, but she doesn't actually come with one.

I purchased this doll for my 3 1/2 year old daughter as a change from the normal Barbie and I am so glad I did. The doll is beautiful. I love the fact that you can switch wigs on them. I bought three of them so we do a lot of hairstyle swapping. They have many joints which makes it very easy to make pretend they are performing tasks. Except, since my daughter is only three, sometimes her doll's extremities look very odd. Nevertheless, this is a great doll and comes with cute fashionable outfits and accessories. I only paid $6 for it on a lighting deal during the Holidays, but, would pay more. If I had to choose between Barbie and LIV (price being the same) I would pick LIV in a heartbeat.

I like this doll because it has wonderful bright green eyes and very tender face (makeup). The outfit is also nice, but the shoes are not so pretty. There are 5 girls in this line, but I think Katie is the most beautiful!!!
