I got my little girls the matching shimmer outfits for Christmas for their American Girls. Although they both received a lot of other dolly outfits, these stylish and well made clothes are the ones that they keep putting on their dolls. So many little girls love sparkly things; these just seem to capture their imaginations more than some of the more casual doll clothes, or the frumpier "party dresses".

My daughter received this as a gift for her AG doll and loves it. It is exactly as pictured. It is made in China and seems to be sewn together well. The top is fastened with three small snaps down the back rather than velcro. The top is sort of sheer but has a liner that goes down about 1/3 of the way down the front and back. If you look closely you can see it in the photo. The shoes are not included. (I see I can purchase the shoes here on Amazon.) It seems a tad expensive but since I didn't purchase it I shouldn't complain.

I bought this outfit for my finance' granddaughter who just turned 8. When I received it, it looked better than pictured over the internet. When she received the present, you should have seen her expression of how much she liked this. Looks more like real clothes not doll clothes.
