My child asked for 2 Madeline dolls for Christmas. I got her the large plush doll and tried to find a smaller one.

I wanted one that would fit in a doll house.

I tried fighting for them on ebay but never ended up winning one. My last attempt was to make one but without a small enough pattern, and a 5 month old it was near impossible.

I am happy to have found this Madeline doll along with Nicole. They are sweet and have wonderful details. Madeline has a scare, the clothes have little buttons and the tiny little cloth shoes are adorable.

If I were to change anything about the doll it would be the hat. It's made of felt and not firm but it does go along with the large rag doll hats.

The face is simple but the hands and feet are too detailed and look out of place (the feet have ankles and toes).

I really hope Pepito and Miss. Clavel come out soon.

My granddaughter loved this doll she has misplaced it, so I may need to order her another. She has the DVD, & a large size version of Madeline, and several books that I bought her. However, this doll is just the right size to dress & undress for a 4 year old, and that is what they like to do. If she does not find the original one soon, I definitely will order another. It is adorable. She even has the appendix scar printed on her abdomen & her clothes are pretty & good quality. I would like to be able to order more clothes for her.

It's not exciting because her accessories are very tiny and they can get lost easily. If she came with a little suitcase or bag to hold her accessories it would be better.

I was a bit disappointed in the size of this doll and accessories. It is really tiny and doesn't seem like it will last very long. It is very fragile. It was made in China too. My niece was happy with it but the Madeline tea set that I gave her was a bigger hit.
