My daughter, age 5 years, loves these LaLaLoopsy dolls! They are absolutely adorable, and while the plastic is not at all cuddly, very sturdy and durable. I love that if they get a little dirty, I can just give the doll a quick wipe with warm water to clean her.

This Tippy Tumbelina doll has presented a problem for my daughter the shoes. There is a major design flaw. While cute, they are forever coming off her feet. The ribbons in the shoes rather than having one long ribbon come in two pieces. They are knotted to hold them in the holes that are in the shoes. Unfortunately the knots are constantly coming out, starting with the moment we removed Tippy T from the box. We have been fighting with these stupid ribbons ever since. I'm currently in search of some ribbon that is the exact color (my daughter is very particular about this sort of thing) so I can redesign them the way they should have been made in the first place with one long ribbon laced through each shoe. Given the ages that these are marketed to, the makers of this doll should have known better.

I just love these Lalaloopsy dolls. I am such a huge fan. Some People left negative remarks becuase they didn't realize that the hair was plastic, but thats one of the things that I love so much about these dolls. The hair is plastic it'll last longer and you don't have to worry about your little ones cutting off their hair. I hope to collect all of the 12" Lalaloopsy dolls.

Tippy Tumbelina is so very cute. My kids love her. I love how well made Lalaloopsy dolls are. I also love that their hair is plastic, so you don't have crazy doll hair to deal with. Really, my only complaint with Tippy is her shoes. They are so difficult to get on and so easy to get off. I wish her ballet slippers were made onto her like her hair. It'd make my life a lot easier. We've had Tippy for quite some time and she's been drug all over the place with us. With the wipe of a damp cloth she looks brand new!

I was concerned with Lalaloopsy doll's eyes being buttons. I couldn't imagine that being a good idea. But they are made onto her face, no chance of coming off at all. It is made to look like buttons are sewn on her eyes, but they are part of her molded plastic head.

This was ordered for may daughter who once saw it at a Toy Store. Unfortunately, by the time she was able to save up for the doll, this particular doll (tipsy thumbelina) was already out of stock. She didn't want to settle for the other lalaloopsi dolls. Saw it Amazon where it was actually cheaper. Came in time and my daughter was very happy with her new doll. She would take it anywhere she went. These dolls have a nice touching story behind how it was created. I recommend. I'm only giving it 4 stars because the shoes of this doll kept coming off.
