According to the dolls' backs and on the bottom of the box this set was made in China. However Barbie has glue seepage like Indonesian dolls tend to get while Ken was fine. The two dolls have different articulation. Barbie has a sport body with no wrist articulation, and Ken is like a fashionista with wrist articulation and more knee movement but his legs don't spread out sideways. Their outfits are onesies/coveralls, which was a little disappointing, and the quality on them could have been better. The set is all right. I like the Ken much more than the Barbie.

As a snowboarder, I feel a little disappointed. The bindings on the snowboard could be parallel instead of racing positioning. I feel like Barbie and Ken should have mitts and helmet and instead of glasses, miniature of goggles. Overall, for kids, it will fulfill the representation of snowboarding. I bought it as a gift for my little cousin, who's 8 years old.
