Got this as a Christmas gift for my 7 year old Granddaughter for her American Girl accessories. Was very disappointed in the size not much bigger than a shoe box. Would not recommend this item.

The steamer trunk was a fun idea to help my daughter store her doll clothes. However, this one was not particularly well made. When I got (at Christmas) the tacks holding the leather straps were falling out and some were missing from the box. I put what I had back in securely and made the best of things as this was for a Christmas present.

The rest of the box is well made and is as pictured. I am glad that I kept it because my daughter uses it and the decorative tacks don't really matter to her. She is very pleased with it.

OK, the size is not their fault. I just didn't realize how tiny it would be. However, that might have been ok if it hadn't arrived with two broken hinges and a broken latch. Who on earth packed this, it must have had all of these problems before it went into the box!
