I bought this doll stroller (after agonizing over all of the other options in stores and online) as a gift for a little girl turning one. She is just starting to get into the doll phase.I have yet to give her the stroller, but when I received it I assembled it and had my 1-year old son test push it around the house to ensure it's durability and stability. I am highly impressed with how un-tippable this stroller is. My son was trying to knock it over (like he does all of his other push toys), and he could not. He finally sat down and picked it up by one of the wheels, which did tip it over. But the whole point is to have a steady toy that a learning-to-walk toddler can push around, and this toy does meet that standard.
I was impressed with the shipping speed, but the packaging was not what I expected. I had planned on assembling the stroller to bring to the party anyways, but the product arrived in an unmarked box with loose pieces inside (i.e. not inside a sealed Little Tikes box). Again, since I was planning on assembling the toy and I do not think it would be in danger of being returned, I didn't care so much. But if you are looking for a toy to come in a Little Tikes box, mine did not, so beware.
Also, since the pieces of the stroller were just sitting inside an unmarked box (not wrapped in plastic or anything), mine was dirty when it arrived. Again, no big deal since I was assembling it anyway. The buggy is white and mine had some dirt and dust on it (nothing a few Lysol wipes didn't fix). But if you are planning on just sending this as a gift or wrapping a box to give as a gift, beware. That was not a deal breaker for me since mine wiped clean in just a few minutes.
Assembly was a piece of cake and took about 10 minutes total (and that included tracking down the hammer in the garage). As to some of the reviews that the wheels don't turn, I think that may have been an assembly error. There is a long metal rod that both wheels, the buggy, and two end cap screws sit on. If you leave a little bit of slack on each end of the rod, between the end cap screw and the wheel, the wheels turn much better. I did have one wheel that was a little more stiff than the others when it came to rotating. We didn't notice it until after the entie buggy was assembled, so rather than take the wheel off and try to sand down the hole for the rod, my husband and I took turns violently rotating the wheel with some resistance to kind of stretch out the hole a little bit. That worked fine, and the buggy could withstand the presure, which ensures that this thing will probably last through the years.
Finally, the description says that the buggy fits dolls up to 18". Since I have a son we don't have any dolls to test this with. But I put his Scout stuffed animal dog (which is 15") in the buggy and he fit fine. In my opinion, Scout took up the whole buggy, but I suppose a doll would bend at the waist more than a stuffed dog, so the 18" may be accurate (although I would not buy this for dolls any bigger than that).
All in all, I am happy with my purchase and would buy again.
