I bought two of these dolls (snow white for my 1-year-old niece and Aurora for my own 2-year-old daughter) and they LOVE them. The formed/molded arms, legs and faces are really a hit with every little girl that's come in contact with them, as is the "real" (barbie-cornsilk-style) hair that can be brushed. But what puts it over "just a doll" for me is that unlike other molded/formed dolls this doll is soft and squishy in the middle really huggable. It's a combination I've not seen very often and the little girls in my life seem to REALLY adore.I haven't had any quality issues like those described in other reviews our seams have held up just fine, all joints and body parts are still well attached, and there hasn't been any flaking of paint or any substantial hair loss (all dolls lose hair with toddler brushing, even Barbie, I'd say I've seen two or three strands floating around in the month+ we've owned these). Granted, I don't allow my daughter to take her dolls to preschool where they'd be subject to tug of war, nor do I allow her to take dolls in the bathtub, sandbox, etc. So I haven't had need to put them in the washing machine, nor would I recommend that for any doll. So far, I haven't heard any quality complaints from my niece's doll either, which is in a household with multiple girls so it probably gets more use than mine.
Long story short it is a really sweet, cuddly doll that blends the best of both worlds (soft and molded dolls) and perfect for any little girl that loves disney princesses. If I wanted to fill my house with dolls I'd definitely get the rest of this collection.
