I love the Bratz. When I heard they were coming back after a hiatus caused by the legal battle, I was excited. On Christmas Eve, I opened one present as per tradition in my house and got Adri, another Bratz doll. Adri was just a teaser to what I would receive. Christmas morning came and I got Ashby (along with Tyla)!
Review
FUN: This doll lives up to the Passion for Fashion tagline, she wears a cream sweater with a blue dress shirt poking out, a slate grey miniskirt, (not pictured) oatmeal-colored legwarmers and the somewhat bizarre shoe that are a fusion of high top and high heel.
EDUCATIONAL VALUE: Well, dolls in the fashion doll category don't normal come with educational value. I think that because her skin is a medium tone, her hair is a chestnut color and her eyes are greenish, it would be helpful to say that such dolls, when added to the toybox, bring a sense of diversity and show that not every beautiful woman\girl is white, blonde and blue eyed.
DURABILITY: The doll is made of plastic and the clothes are well done. I don't need to tell people that the hair can be cut (I don't want to do that to my dolls).
OVERALL: A wonderful addition to my collection and I have played with her. I sometime film my playtime and edit it in the computer. Ashby is an up-and-coming star in my playtime movies. The Bratz doll Ashby is quite a cutie. She comes in a stylish outfit, is well made and has beautiful long flowing har. As with most Bratz dolls she has a really pretty face. This doll is reasonably priced and a good value for the money. I would definitely recommend that you purchase her.
