Athough worry dolls by nature are little and flimsy, this larger size stands up to little hands much better than their cousins. Because the size is larger, you can see the craftsmanship, and it is pleasing and atrractive. These do not have hanging threads or missing limbs. They look different enough to identify as separate dolls. My grandson loves them although he will not put them under his pillow for fear they will suffocate...

I have the Guatemalan dolls delivered to my 7 year grandson and I haven't actually seen them. I purchased them because my grandson and I read a story about a little boy, like him, who worried a lot about everything. When he got the dolls he called me to tell me that every night he tells his worries to the dolls and goes to sleep. I think I am getting the dolls for my 5 year granddaughter who recently entered kindergarten and has had trouble adjusting. I think the dolls can be a comfort to little worried children.

They are indeed 2 in tall! Awesome. It said it came with a story it was more like a slip that is stuffed in a fortune cookie. The dolls are adorable. They are wiry and hard. They are beige/tan not pale like in the photo. Glad that was accurate lol They are ethnic after all! I thought they would be a bit squishy and soft. Overall they are well made. The arms are like a hard paper mache/cardboard. The dolls and box are more vibrant in the photo than in person. The box is mediocre quality not bright and sturdy in appearance as in the photo. But it's what is inside that counts!
