Trichelle is so urban chic, rockin' Rocawear gear. She's awesome! SIS dolls are 12" tall, made of vinyl and come in 5 different skin shades. New to the line, Marissa(Hispanic), has very light skin; Trichelle, is also very light, Grace is mocha colored; Kara is brown skinned and Chandra is a dark chocolate. Some of these dolls come articulated (jointed) at the elbows, wrist, and knees, others may have just bending knees, and still others are non bending.
The SIS doll line is considered playline (mass produced for children), but adult collectors have been paying collector prices ($25 and up) for this line of dolls for the last 2 years. If you don't live in a large ethnic community you won't find many if any of these beautiful dolls. For that reason, we are pushed into paying 50% or more over retail value.
When buying from Amazon (not sellers using Amazon to sell their goods like Ebay, because like Ebay the prices are much higher) you'll get a "closer to retail price" , in other words a reasonable price. Hey, just take a look on Amazon under SIS Trichelle and you will fine the set of Trichelle and Chandra going for over $300. I purchased the same set 2 years ago for $28 right here on Amazon.
To get a reasonable price on SIS dolls, you have to look on Amazon frequently because the prices change alot. Once these dolls become hard to find you will pay alot for them!
