Unfortunately my 3 year old daughter doesn't like this doll very much. I was excited to get it for her, because she loves Belle. She didn't know it was Belle at first, because her dress is pink (obviously I knew that when I ordered it, but I didn't think it would be a big deal, and I was wrong). She actually told me that Belle should have on a yellow dress. I understand that they chose this dress because it's the one Belle wears in the movie while singing the song, but small children associate Belle with her yellow dress.
Also I think one of the problems was the choice of song. They chose the song that Belle sang about Beast, but it's not one my daughter normally sings along to in the movie. They also only give you 2 small snippets of the song. I think if they'd have chosen one of Belle's other songs, and given you a longer version of it she would have liked it better. All in all, a failure of a gift. In it's defense it is a very pretty doll. I guess it can be one we display in her room, since she doesn't play with it.

My daughter loves to sing the princess theme songs. She LOVES this doll. There is also a similar Cinderella and Ariel dolls also they're all great. FYI There is a plastic tab in the back to remove to get the doll to sing the whole chorus. Before you pull the tab out, she just sings one phrase each time the button is pressed.

I got this for my daughter for her birthday. She really likes it. There is a tab on the back to pull out to make her sing the whole song. If you don't pull out the tab she just sings like 1 or 2 words. So pulling out the tab is a must!!!

My daughter name is anna bell so I bought this doll and not regreting it. This belle is well made, strong, pretty, I love that no electrical part is visable and her music button is precisely well design. my daughter plays it will the beast a great combination
