My Kids love to play with Calico Critters and I love it when they play with Calico Critters. It makes them much calmer than most other toys. Fights seem to break out with barbies, electronic toys just get them wired (we do not do those), etc. But with Calico Critters they will play for a long time without fights or fusses, even my two year-old (warning these toys have many small parts and are only appropriate if your child has stopped putting things in his or her mouth). That being said, I am not as crazy about the furniture. It does not seem to be properly proportioned to the Calico Critter figures (which are uber-cute) and they have lots of parts that are really easy to lose. Nonetheless, my kids do love them, even if they quickly lose many of the pieces.

The set is beautiful but too small. It should not be called a "master bedroom." The Buckley Deer Family's Mom & Dad do not fit together in this bed. We had to use it for one of the children. They did fit in the "Woodzeez" master bed from Target.
