This doll is our second M & D doll, the first is the purple princess "Larissa" doll, which my now four year old daughter loved sooooo much, I really wanted to get her a similar one for Christmas. Like Larissa, this doll is simply beautiful. A sweet face, head full of hair, eyes that open and close, sturdy and well proportioned body, and just really well made especially considering the price. My mom actually purchased both of them for her, and we both just can't get over how nice these dolls are. The dress, shoes, and bouquete with Lindsay is well made, not super cheapo like some doll clothes. I am just happy to let my little girl play with these dolls, as opposed to letting her play with cheap plastic dolls that are sickly skinny with big boobs and way too much make up painted on their faces. I really wish M & D would make more of these dolls, with more skin colors and hair colors, etc. We would definitely buy another one. They are such a good deal, for the quality and just to have a sweet, pleasant looking doll that your girl will surely love. The size is just right for us, not as quite as big as the AG dolls. The dolls travel with us and can fit in a variety of our daughter's doll furniture. I highly recommend!

I just wanted to add that this particular Melissa and Doug blonde doll has pale green eyes, and the other blonde dolls have blue eyes. which might be nice if you want another doll but don't want them to be identical mind the outfits. I believe all the brunette dolls have Brown eyes.

I got married 3 weeks ago, and my little 3 year old cousin, who was my flower girl told me she would throw flowers all on the floor if I got her a bride doll! (Didn't think it was going to be to hard to look for one)

She looks to be well made and has a little weight to her to be so little! Can't wait for my flower girl to open her on Christmas!!!
