I purchased this gift as an adult "I'll take that" gift exchange. It was a great hit and went several times around the room. I did not realize that it was intended for a child until I saw the box. I had to repackage so as not to embarrass the lucky recipient. All viewed it as a great kitchen herb growing box. I would buy it again for either a child or a foodie. Very well made-solidGot this as a Christmas present for our 7year old granddaughter, it was a hit. Can't wait to see what she grows
